“Kody was fantastic. I hired him to walk a very energetic 1-year-old retriever twice a day after I broke my shoulder. He was always on time. He was pleasant and helpful, and dealt well with my dog's enthusiastic nature. I recommend him highly and I believe you will enjoy working with him as much as we did. Great guy.”

About: I’ve spent a lot of time with my friends and family’s cats and dogs throughout my childhood. I understand they’re body language very well, and love spending time with them. I am currently a chemistry graduate student who enjoys going on walks and working out, especially on the weekends. I would really enjoy spending some time walking with some dogs on the weekends! I will make sure your dog is happy and relaxed while at home and safe as well. I will supervise carefully to make sure they aren’t getting into any trouble that may endanger them.
About: New Rover users can use code ADDISA33908 for $20 off your first booking! Hi, I’m Addison! I’m an animal loving college student who is looking for a way to pay off student loans while spending time with furry friends! Icurrently volunteer at Austin Animal Center in the cat department, cleaning kennels, feeding, and playing with the shelter cats. I have been taking care of my own dog (boston terrier) since I was 10, and I’ve had family cats since I was a child. Currently, I have a cat that I raised from a baby for the past three years! I am very attentive to animal’s needs and try not to overwhelm them: my friends often call me a “cat whisperer” because pets love me! I am a student at The University of Texas, so I have to work around my class schedule. Message me about what time you would be interested in booking and I can let you know if I can make it work! I am VERY free on the weekends so don’t hesitate to book! While I can’t house pets in my current apartment because I am living in college housing, I am committed to making pets feel safe and comfortable in their own spaces! I also ask for meet & greets for most services just to make sure your pets are comfortable with me!
“I didn’t get the pleasure of meeting Hillary in person as this was a super last minute booking, so I so appreciate her coming to walk Maya! She was very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Will definitely use her again!”

About: I grew up around lots of animals and absolutely love dogs! I have over 12 years of hands-on ownership experience. I have owned and personally trained my own Vizslas as companions and bird-dogs. Right now, I have a 1.5 year old Vizsla named Yates <3. Through that experience, I have a strong understanding of dog behavior and needs, especially high-energy and/or working dogs. I am self-employed and work from home, so I can provide your pup with plenty of care and attention. I am very outdoor oriented and active so walks, runs, hikes, parks, and basically any activity dogs love naturally fit into my schedule. And Yates always loves having a friend along for the ride! I offer all Rover services and regularly dog-sit for dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs, whether that means plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, maintaining consistent training, or simply providing calm companionship. I’m confident working with puppies, including reinforcing leash manners, basic commands, and house routines, as well as senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication, and extra patience and care. What sets me apart is that I’m attentive, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs! I pay close attention to each dog’s needs and personality and aim to keep them happy, exercised, and comfortable while you’re away. I take pet care seriously, but I also make sure it’s fun, for both your dog and me! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. For my “day-job” I am a self-employed attorney and, therefore, have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my days around walks, drop-ins, and sitting, making sure dogs get consistent attention and exercise. I’m active and outdoorsy, so longer walks and playtime are a natural part of my day. I’m available for weekdays and most weekends. I do my best to accommodate early mornings, evenings, and longer stays with advance notice. I keep my schedule organized and communicate clearly, so you’ll always know what to expect. I care for pets in my home, where dogs have plenty of space, attention, and structure. I live in a house with a fenced yard, which allows for safe outdoor time, play, and regular breaks throughout the day. I currently have one 1.5-year-old Vizsla who is very friendly and loves to play. She’s high-energy and does great with other dogs, but I’m mindful of each dog’s comfort level. If a dog prefers calmer interactions or needs space, I’m able to separate dogs and manage playtime appropriately to keep everyone comfortable and safe. I follow owner instructions closely when it comes to feeding, exercise, routines, and any special needs. I keep a close eye on dogs in my care and aim to provide a calm, attentive environment where they can settle in, get exercise, and feel at home while you’re away.
About: I've had pets all my life between living with my parents and now! I have my very own tortie kitty named Layla and I've had her for almost 5 years. Prior to having my own cat and now, I've always taken care of my parents dog and cat whenever they need! I work from home and love to get outside for breaks! This time can be spent walking your pups or can be spent cuddling your kitties! I have always been mindful of other people's space and time. My mom always taught me to leave things how I found them or better!

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals (especially dogs) growing up. I love dogs and my Australian shepherd Kona is back home with my parents so I rarely see her. I’m in Austin for nursing school and would love to spend my extra time walking your dog or just hanging out! Im available on weekdays in the late afternoon/evenings. I’m a nursing student, but I’m surprisingly not as busy as I thought I’d be. My weeknights an open. (4-10pm is ideal) I know how to take care of pets pretty well so I can do whatever tasks are needed and I can do them patiently so the pet doesn’t feel rushed.
About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I'm an avid equestrian, and I grew up caring for my own cats and dogs. I get so much joy from being around animals, and I'd love to bring that passion to caring for your pets! I have experience administering pills and topical medications as well as basic first aid training. I am a new graduate student, so flexibility is key! Friday through Monday are days that I can fully devote to pet care, whereas Tuesday through Thursday I will be focusing on classwork. You know your pet best, and I want to keep your pet's routine as clear and consistent as possible. A calm environment is a happy environment!
About: I have experience house-sitting dogs and cats from a range of ages up to 17 years old. I adore both cats and dogs and would love to take care of yours. If you are looking for a long term and reliable gal to watch your pet I would love to provide a helping hand! I’m a full time nurse, but am free on my days off, evenings, and weekends. Would love to help out occasionally if needed or get to know your pets long term! I can provide care in the clients home. Happy to feed, play, hang out and walk your dogs. Whatever you need I can help out with.

“Emily is so great. I literally send her the most insanely detailed and probably overwhelming texts about my puppy and she’s so sweet about it. I’m so grateful to have her as a dog walker!”

About: As an only child I grew up with multiple dogs and cats and have always treated them as family. I’ve volunteered at multiple humane societies in my past. I have experience with excited puppies and kitties as well as slower senior pets who need extra patience. I also owned many rats and cared for other rodents as well. When it comes to pets there’s nothing I can’t handle. I currently do part time deliveries that I schedule myself so I can work around your schedule however needed. I am very open to overnight stays if needed or preferred. I will follow any requests when it comes to caring for your pet in your home. Whether there are rooms they aren’t allowed access to or certain doors or gates to double check I will diligently follow through to ensure your pet is as safe and comfortable as can be.
“I would highly recommend Abby! She was very responsive and took great care of our pup. We received updates and pictures while we were away which was very much appreciated. It's always hard to leave our dog, but felt she was in good hands with Abby!”
“Sherryann is excellent! She is very detailed in her report cards, friendly and understanding with my pup, and responsive to questions / communications. I highly recommend her!”
