“Kody was fantastic. I hired him to walk a very energetic 1-year-old retriever twice a day after I broke my shoulder. He was always on time. He was pleasant and helpful, and dealt well with my dog's enthusiastic nature. I recommend him highly and I believe you will enjoy working with him as much as we did. Great guy.”

“Yihung is incredible with our pup Winnie. He took the time to visit her and take her around the block to make sure everything went smoothly. He shared plenty of photos along the way. No doubt, we’ll be regulars of Yihung moving forward!!”

“Michael is so good with our animals! He walked our dog, but also was super friendly with our 2 cats. He's super responsive, and is always sending cute pictures. I'd recommend Michael to anyone needing pet sitting or dog walking!”

“Juan was able to adjust the time of the walk based on the weather which was super helpful! Miller had a great time on his walk and was waiting by the door afterwards to go again. We’ll definitely be rebooking!”

About: Hi! I love dogs of all sizes and have experience both raising and training puppies. I’m very comfortable handling large, excited dogs on walks. I work from home full-time! If you want to make sure your pup continues good training habits with me just let me know what they are and I’m happy to incorporate them! I’m very conscious of safety precautions regarding distance between other dogs and animals, children, and cars. Your pup will be happy, healthy, and safe! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or reservations. I’m more than happy to talk things over together before you make a decision!
“Francis is wonderful! He was agreeable to a meet-and-greet prior to starting services, took a genuine interest in finding out Beckett’s specific needs, and has always been punctual. I’ve been very impressed by his communication, ability to manage Beckett (who has a tendency to pull), and his patience and willingness to work on improving Beckett’s walking. Beckett can take a while to warm up to people, but he warmed up to Francis quickly and has been loving the walks! I’d highly recommend Francis to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, experienced dog walker!”

“Sherryann is excellent! She is very detailed in her report cards, friendly and understanding with my pup, and responsive to questions / communications. I highly recommend her!”

“Kendall helped out with our dogs while we were away for a few weeks. 2 of my dog have a difficult dynamic and she was able to follow all the rules perfectly! We will absolutely use her again!”

About: I have been petsitting for puppies and kittens for as long as I can remember. I particularly love senior animals and have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I'm currently a full-time virtual student, so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. In addition to the joy I find working with animals, I am also trying to save up money for a study abroad I am attending in Spain this fall. My family's dogs are relatively low-maintenance and enjoy long walks in the neighborhood (as long as it's not too hot) and a big bowl of ice water to cool down. As for the cats, I enjoy spending time with them on the couch while I knit and playing with them via laser pointer.

About: I’ve had pets apart of my family and my friends families for a few years now who I would take on walks, watch, and play with! I’m currently working part time in the service industry so I have a very flexible and free week to be attentive to your pet. I love being hands on which greatly helps in having a good connection with your pet. They feel safe and loved and most importantly watched so that they’re not alone
About: I love working with animals! I love going on long walks and playing with animals. I have worked with a couple families with care with dogs of all age ranges! I am a college student who does not live far from campus and can be back and forth as needed! With it being summer, I have more flexibility! I make sure the pets are provide with a safe and loving home! I make sure they are taken care of with play, activity, food, and treats!
“Leigh is a great communicator! You can tell she's very conscientious about her responsibility of caring for your dog. I trust she will let me know of any concerns that should arise during her time with my dog.”

“Jenna stepped to help care for my dog Madison when I last minute had to leave town. She went above and beyond to make sure Madison was cared for! Highly recommend and will book her again.”

“She accepted my last minute request, so thankful! Also it was so comforting to know she looked at Fern’s profile closely and was very respectful. She took a lot of pics to show how much fun they had!”

About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.
“I would highly recommend Abby! She was very responsive and took great care of our pup. We received updates and pictures while we were away which was very much appreciated. It's always hard to leave our dog, but felt she was in good hands with Abby!”

About: I'm Jae, I am disciplined, reliable, and give attention to detail. Some would say I am a bit of a perfectionists. As a cyclist and a data science student I am not a stranger to these things. As a freelance Data Scientist and researcher, I have a fully flexible schedule that allows me to work from home and build my day around your pet's needs. I prioritize your pet's emotional well-being as much as their physical safety. I only hire sitters who understand Fear Free principles, so I offer the same standard of care to my clients. I understand that a stranger entering a home can be scary for animals, and I use proven methods to alleviate that stress, such as: - Consent-Based Interaction: I never force affection. I let your pet approach me at their own pace and respect their boundaries if they need space.
Highland dog parents share their Rover experiences
I’ve had Ann Marie to take care of my dog several times. She’s reliable, King enjoys her and she seems to enjoy King. And I trust her in my home. She provides good updates and cute pictures and she responds to messages quickly. I highly recommend you try Ann Marie. You won’t be sorry.

I needed someone last minute to walk my dog when I had to go out of town for work and Miranda went above and beyond! She did a same day meet and greet and then stayed extra time with my dog because there was a storm and he was anxious. Her communication was great and she sent several updates and pictures. I appreciated her level of care and would definitely book again with her in the future.

Caroline is so great with our dog! I love how patient Caroline is with our dog's quirks and the excitement I see from my dog when she has Caroline take care of her. Caroline is the best with keeping me posted during her visits and I appreciate the after visit summaries she provides.
