“Cicely was great. On time, followed the instructions and more importantly Kulfi my dog was happy when I went back home Thank you Cicely. Will ping you when I need again”

“Ella is awesome! This is my second time having her walk my pup and I love seeing all the photos she takes. She even tracks her walks with the app and updates me with all of his activities for the visit. 10/10!!! Grem loves her!!”

About: I'm a graduate student who primarily works from home, so I have lots of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day and week. I have no problem dropping in midday during the week if that’s what you need! I'm very sensitive to the individual attitude and preference of the cats and dogs that I care for - I've cared for friendly and outgoing animals, who wants lots of pets and playtime, but I've also cared for quieter, more introverted cats, who don't want intrusions into their safe spaces (especially when their humans aren't present). I respect the boundaries that pets set, and adapt accordingly! In addition, I’m detail oriented and will carefully follow the instructions you provide.
“Yihung is incredible with our pup Winnie. He took the time to visit her and take her around the block to make sure everything went smoothly. He shared plenty of photos along the way. No doubt, we’ll be regulars of Yihung moving forward!!”

“Jimmy was our first Rover and after only 2 walks, I can’t imagine having any other! He has great situational awareness and communication skills. He even did some research to find out why my pup lays down when another dog approaches. He’s working with her on this which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend you book with Jimmy. He’s so good with my girl, Riley. She loves him!”

“Mariia is great at taking care of my girl, lots of pictures and videos, great communication, took the time to make sure she was clean after a rainy walk, my dog loved her immediately. Without a doubt I’ll keep requesting her help, 100% recommend”

“Kody was fantastic. I hired him to walk a very energetic 1-year-old retriever twice a day after I broke my shoulder. He was always on time. He was pleasant and helpful, and dealt well with my dog's enthusiastic nature. I recommend him highly and I believe you will enjoy working with him as much as we did. Great guy.”

About: I've absolutely loved dogs since before I can remember! I've had 3 sweet pups throughout my life, spent plenty of time volunteering at animal shelters and currently have a very lovable and sweet golden-retriever as a roommate. I've been dog sitting for families, friends and neighbors since I was 10, and as a recent college graduate missing my family dogs at home, I've been loving the opportunity to stay and hang out with other people's furry friends. I currently work from home, so I'm available to spend lots of quality time with them every day of the week! As an avid runner/walker myself, I'd be more than happy to bring an extra friend along on walks or simply let them out to play if they need to expel some energy or enjoy the sunshine. I'm new to Rover but would love to help you out with your furry friend whenever and however you need it :) I currently work from home every day except Thursdays, so I have all the time in the world to spend with your pup! I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits or in-house sitting every day of the week (as long as they're able to go a couple of hours by themselves on Thurs). I typically start work at 8am so extra points if they're a morning dog. Every dog is different so I adjust to what they need most! Fast walks, slow walks, lots of stimulation, none at all, calm environment, quiet environment... I can do it all.
“Thank you Sherryann for taking my pup for a midday walk. My dog Noir loves the attention and getting some exercise while I am away at work during the day. Will be reaching out to Sherryann again for sure for the next one!”
About: I have a huge family with several dogs, so I have a lot of experience caring for them. I only get to see my family dogs every few months, so I would love to spoil yours! I’m a graduate student at UT, so I’m most available on the weekends. I’m also available most evenings on weekdays for short walks around town. I’ll make sure they stay safe and have a fun time! I have plenty of experience with taking small and medium sized dogs on walks.
“Michael is so good with our animals! He walked our dog, but also was super friendly with our 2 cats. He's super responsive, and is always sending cute pictures. I'd recommend Michael to anyone needing pet sitting or dog walking!”

About: Pets have always been part of my life, from my family dog to roommates’ dogs and cats, and I can't get enough of them! I am currently doing freelance design work, so I have flexible hours to help support you and your furry family! Happy to send lots of updates and photos (especially of the silly 0.5 lens variety - see my last few photos for examples)! Overall, I will keep things calm, consistent, and easy for your pet. I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends. I can easily fit walks, drop-ins, and quality time into my day while keeping your pet’s routine consistent. I offer a calm, cozy apartment with great nearby walking spots. I’m attentive to routines, keep safety top of mind (leashes, secure doors), and can crate if needed. Expect regular updates and a tidy home.
About: Aside from my childhood large mutt and family cats, I cared for my dear Shih Tzu into her elder years, when all food had to be frozen flat on a lick mat and play consisted mostly of sniffing and sitting. I’m excellent at coming up with stimulating activities and forms of play beyond fetch, but also am a hobbyist speed walker (easier on the knees than jogging!) and love to get my 10k steps in every day. I’m a graduate student at UT Austin, taking the summer to focus on my thesis, which means I’m at home reading and researching and my schedule is my own. I always appreciate when a pet’s routine can jump start my day and am able to adapt to needs as they arise. Unfortunately my apartment is on the second floor so any boarders would either need to be able to climb or be small enough to be carried. My complex has a semi-fenced area and there’s a dog park not too far away. A smoke-free house, all cleaning supplies are kept in closed upper cabinets and trash cans all have lids or are raised.
“I would highly recommend Abby! She was very responsive and took great care of our pup. We received updates and pictures while we were away which was very much appreciated. It's always hard to leave our dog, but felt she was in good hands with Abby!”
North Loop dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amazing help! This single mom to two boys , a new puppy and a fairly new job…: so appreciates that Juan goes above and beyond and is great on communicating ! Thanks so much for saving me this first month that we have adopted a 4 month old puppy. It’s been just what I needed !

Caroline is so great with our dog! I love how patient Caroline is with our dog's quirks and the excitement I see from my dog when she has Caroline take care of her. Caroline is the best with keeping me posted during her visits and I appreciate the after visit summaries she provides.

Alyssa was great! Very easy to work with and helped me with the details of the day to make sure my pup was well cared for. She was so kind to my boy at our meet and greet so I had no doubt he’d be in good hands. She sent pics and updates which I really appreciated!

Morgan stepped in to help us out last minute and we are so grateful for her! She spent extra time with our pups when they were feeling anxious and she gave me great peace of mind knowing they were getting their daily walks plus extra attention. I highly recommend Morgan for your pet care needs. Thank you so much Morgan!
