“Mitchell did an excellent job. Had a meet and greet prior to the assignment. He was attentive and wrote notes on his phone for what i explained Received notices at the specified tines for walking and feeding. Would recommend for anyone hiring Mitchell.”

“Taylor is an amazing dog walker and caretaker! She always provides thorough updates after each walk, making sure I know how Kota did, what she ate, and even small details like refreshing her water and giving her treats. I really appreciate her attentiveness—even noticing little things like a skin tag on Kota’s ear. It’s clear she genuinely cares and goes the extra mile to make sure my pup is happy and comfortable. I couldn’t ask for a better person to care for my dog, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’m an experienced, pet-savvy sitter with a deep love for both dogs and cats, available for drop-ins, weekend stays, and last-minute bookings this summer. I’m especially great with shy pets, seniors, special diets, and giving meds if needed. I’m also a proud cat mom of five, so feline care is second nature to me! I grew up with two large dogs (a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd) and worked for five years at Kriser’s/Natural Pawz in Houston, where I learned to handle all kinds of pets and personalities. I’ve also helped find homes for stray dogs and regularly care for multi-pet households. For longer in-home sitting (like while you’re traveling), I do ask to meet and care for your pet a few times beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit. I know how much it means to get photo updates when you're away from your furry family, so I always stay in touch with pictures and notes to keep you in the loop and at ease. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness come first—always. I have a flexible schedule and love incorporating pet care into my routine. I’m generally available for morning, evening, and weekend visits, and I’m happy to coordinate around your pet’s needs. I care for pets in your home, where they’re happiest and most comfortable—surrounded by their favorite toys, cozy spots, and familiar routines. I take the time to get to know their habits and personality, so they feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away. I’m always respectful of your space, keep things tidy, and make sure everything is safe and secure. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and sense of routine are my top priorities—and I’ll treat them like one of my own while you’re gone.

“Cara did an awesome job with my pup! She was super responsive and enthusiastic about taking my girl on a walk. I even got a sweet picture to boot. I'm very pleased - thanks, Cara!”

“Fantastic energy”

About: I have been a dog owner my entire life, from dachshunds to terriers to golden retrievers. I love all dogs. I currently have one little pup of my own. In the evening you can find us walking lady bird lake trail and playing at auditorium shores. While I am taking care of your dog, they can expect to join us on these long walks and to also spend plenty of cuddle time on the couch with abundant toys and bones lying around. I work from home so your pup will have all day companionship and can get as many potty breaks and short walks as they need throughout the work day. Please let me know everything your dog needs and is used to so that I can make them as comfortable as possible when they stay with me! I work from home, so the animals and I are hanging out all day! I usually do longer dog walks in the morning and early afternoon. I also have a small backyard and will do shorter walks for those little potty breaks throughout the day. On weekends, we go to dog parks. Our favorites are Turkey Creek and Walnut Creek so that we get some trail time and puppy play. Amongst all that walking, there is LOTS of couch time. Pets are allowed anywhere so lounging on the couch or bed is a big part of our day I am very patient with animals. I like to reward good behavior with lots of attention, affection, and occasional treats. All pets eat separate, even if everyone is friends. You never know if a new environment or person will a pet nervous or put their guard up. I have a pet friendly household, so no one can get into any plants or food or anything else dangerous.

About: I try to create as calming an experience as possible for animals by keeping a close eye on how they react to things and learning about pets’ unique quirks and routines from their owners. I’m an artist so most weeks my schedule is completely flexible and I can work around what you and your pets need. I know how important animals’ routines are to them so I’m happy to adjust. Your dog (or bird) will have my full attention when I’m staying with or visiting them since I only watch one pet at a time.

About: Being a bilingual pet sitter allows me to connect easily with both pets and their owners. I have a natural ability to bond with animals, making them feel safe and comfortable while their humans are away. Each pet is unique, and I adapt to their needs—whether they crave playtime, affection, or quiet companionship. I carefully observe their behavior, ensuring they feel at ease. Beyond feeding and cleaning, I focus on trust and security. The best moments are when a once-shy pet finally warms up to me. Pet sitting isn’t just a job; it’s about creating meaningful connections with with your pets. 🐾💕 Being a musician gives me the flexibility to dedicate time to caring for pets. My schedule allows me to be available when pet owners need me most, whether it’s for daily visits, overnight stays, or last-minute care. This flexibility means I can adapt to each pet’s routine, ensuring they receive the attention, companionship, and care they need. Whether it’s taking a dog on a midday walk, spending quality time with a shy cat, or simply being there for feeding and playtime, I love being able to offer reliable care. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my life, and I cherish every moment of it. As someone with a flexible schedule, I provide pet care both in my home and in clients’ homes. This setup allows me to give them dedicated attention in a calm environment. At the same time, I understand that some pets feel safest in their familiar surroundings. My flexibility allows me to meet them in their own home, keeping their routine intact and ensuring they feel at ease. Whether in my home or theirs, I prioritize their comfort, care, and happiness.

About: Only taking dogs up to 25lbs in home at this time. I have been a pet owner and caretaker my entire 37 years of living. I can't imagine life without a fur (or reptile) companion. I previously worked at an animal surgical hospital and boarding spa for two years and I started a pet sitting business for 2 years in college - so I have experience with many different types of pets and temperaments. We do have a small dog and a cat - so if your pup is aggressive with other pets, our home may not the best fit. If you are unsure how your dog is around cats, we can accommodate a short term stay (1-3 days) where we keep our cat closed away in the back of the house, but we prefer not to do that for too long if possible. Dog walking and drop-in visits are only available in the Windsor Park / Mueller areas so I can stay close to home for work calls. My fiancé and I both work full-time from home and I usually do not leave the house for more than 2-4 hours a few days a week to run errands or go out to dinner. I can stay at home and provide constant care upon request. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around. We have a 4 year old Chihuahua/Schnauzer mix (Elwood) that hangs out with me in the office all day and an eleven year old cat who mostly stays in the back office with my Fiancé. I let Elwood out into the backyard multiple times per day. I do not leave pets unattended outside to ensure safety and I do not leave them outside for more than 15-20 minutes in the Summer heat. I love going on walks if they need a little more exercise! We have a beautiful, tree-lined neighbourhood with plenty of sidewalks. I am comfortable with any feeding or walking schedule needed. Let me know if your pup is not potty trained and I can gate off the large front area and remove our rugs, no issues.

“Drew is an absolute rockstar. My cat Diego is incredibly judgy and kind of a grump, he likes almost no one—and yet he actually really loves Drew. I’m pretty sure he was disappointed when I walked through the door instead of her. Seriously. That’s a five-star Yelp review coming from him. Drew sent daily updates with great photos, which made being away so much easier. I came home to a happy cat, a spotless house, and the sneaking suspicion that Drew might now be his favorite human. I’d book her again in a heartbeat (and so would Diego).”

12. Nicole L.
“Nicole Lahy is a natural with pets. All 4 of our pets trusted her from the start, 2 mature dogs & 2 young cats. I was especially impressed by how calm our suspicious old Chihuahua was when he first met Nicole. Normally he starts with barks & teethless ankle bites, usually needs treats to be won over but instead he gently sniffed her hand & cheerfully accepted pets. Our larger dog Brontë already decided she’s a favorite person & the cats don’t hide when she come by. Nicole is easygoing, reliable, & kind.”

“We have a very shy rescue dog with extreme separation anxiety. Tiffany does an amazing job watching him when we have to leave town. She provides constant updates, follows his schedule, and reaches out if there are ever any questions or concerns. Not only is Remy well cared for but he ended up liking her so much that he gets excited when he sees her now (he's never done that with anyone we had sit him in the past). Her dog, cat, and turtle made Remy feel right at home, too. We can't say enough good things about how great of a pet sitter she is, we highly recommend her!”
