About: My lifelong passion for animals began with a stuffed dog named Cinnamon, but it truly came to life during the 17 wonderful years I spent with my Westie, Kirby. Growing up with Kirby taught me the art of senior dog care, from managing slower paces to noticing the subtle shifts in a senior pet's needs. My experience expanded further when we rescued Dewey, a panther-like gray cat. Managing the unique bond between a senior dog and a spirited rescue cat gave me firsthand expertise in multi-pet household dynamics and reading diverse animal personalities. Whether your pet is a high-energy explorer or a soulful senior, I provide the patient, specialized attention they deserve Because I work remotely, pet care isn't just a side job—it’s my daily company! My schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to provide a consistent routine of potty breaks, play, and mid-day snuggles. I’ve recently made my physical health a priority, which means I head out for multiple walks a day. I would love for your pup to be my 'steps-partner!' Since I am home throughout the day, your pet will enjoy constant companionship and the security of never being left alone for long periods When staying in your home, I treat your space and your pet with the utmost respect. I pride myself on being a communicative, organized, and tidy guest. I provide regular photo updates and check-ins so you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing. Safety is my top priority; I am diligent about double-checking gates, following specific feeding instructions to a tee, and maintaining any house rules you’ve already established so your pet feels secure and calm while you're away
About: I have experience with young dogs and cats, as well as senior pets. I’m all about keeping to their routine since they know what they like. I have availability during both daytime and evenings, so I can cater care and pop-in times to whatever the pet and their owner need. I I am comfortable with taking care of your pet however you do - whether you use a fence, crate, or like long walks on the leash.
“Heather did a great job taking care of our pup for a same day walking/check in. She had no issues accommodating to specific entrance and feeding instructions and was very clear/thorough with communication!”

“Jackson is very communicative and sent photos and videos of his walk with my pup. He even topped off her water bottle and gave some bonus love to my cat. 10/10 would recommend!”

“John came through last minute when I came down with a bad cold, he was so kind to myself and Juno & took her on a nice long walk twice, the same day. I definitely recommend John!”

“Natalie did a great job walking my GSD Jansen. I got photos and updates. She was very considerate and good with communication. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Michael is so good with our animals! He walked our dog, but also was super friendly with our 2 cats. He's super responsive, and is always sending cute pictures. I'd recommend Michael to anyone needing pet sitting or dog walking!”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for over 20 years. I grew up with a family dog and later cared for my own dog, Tiny, who was by my side for nearly 20 years. Caring for him taught me that every dog has their own personality, routines, and way of communicating. I’m naturally detail-oriented and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique needs, whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication (including pills and eye drops), or simply making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I decided to join Rover because I realized how much I missed having dogs in my daily life. When I needed one, I found an incredible sitter for Tiny through Rover, and she cared for him whenever we had to travel during the final months of his life. Knowing he was in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind, and it’s exactly the kind of care and communication I hope to provide for every family who trusts me with their dog. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I’ll meet them where they are. My goal is simple: to care for your dog with the same attention, patience, and love I’d want for my own. I’ll also keep you updated with thoughtful messages and photos so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. As a self-employed artist, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be dependable and available for dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I honestly just love being around dogs. Getting outside for a walk or simply spending time with a pup is one of those things that always makes my day a little better. I know how much trust it takes to leave both your dog and your home in someone else’s care. I’m naturally detail-oriented and will always respect your space while following your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, or the little routines that help your dog feel comfortable. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention while I’m there, and I’ll always leave your home just as I found it. You can also expect thoughtful updates and photos after every visit, so you’ll know exactly how your dog is doing.
About: Growing up with dogs all of my life, I’ve had the opportunity to care for both small and large dogs, as well as both puppies and senior dogs. I crate and potty trained my golden retriever as well as taught her to walk off leash! I have been dog-sitting for friends and families for more than 10 years now including house sitting, boarding, and dog walking. During my time in college I also lived with roommates who had cats and occasionally cat sat on the weekend. I’m working full time but am more than happy to care for your fur babies in the afternoons or during the weekends! I am available after 5:30pm during the week and all day on Saturday and Sunday. I also work from home on Fridays so my schedule is more flexible! I currently live in a pet friendly one bedroom apartment with no roommates where I have access to two fenced courtyards. There is a park across the street from my apartment for accesible open play! When house sitting, I follow the client’s rules and make sure their home is returned in the same conditions as when they left. I fully understand the trust that it takes to leave your home and fur baby with someone and will do everything needed to maintain it and provide the best experience for both the client and pet.
“Juan was able to adjust the time of the walk based on the weather which was super helpful! Miller had a great time on his walk and was waiting by the door afterwards to go again. We’ll definitely be rebooking!”

About: I had an older dog for four years that I love to take care of. I am flexible with the activity levels of your pets. I work remotely. My job is flexible, so I work from my home or somewhere else. I also am flexible on weekends for pet care. My complex is in a safe area and has an accessible walking trail. I have reliable transportation to get me to and from client’s home.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I got my first dog at six years old, and today my three cats happily run the household. Friends know me as the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people, usually on the floor doing what we jokingly call "pet yoga" with whichever dog or cat wants to join. I have a special soft spot for rescue animals, senior pets, and those who need a little extra patience and understanding. I've supported local rescue organizations for years and even helped transport animals for Austin Pets Alive during the Texas floods. Whether your pet wants adventure, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is flexible! I’m an early riser and as a life long Texan, I don’t mind the middle of the day summer heat. Having worked with rescue animals and senior pets, I'm comfortable moving at each animal's pace and paying attention to the little details that help them feel secure and stress-free.
About: I bring 3 years of professional experience working with cats and dogs, handling everything from daily care routines to administering a variety of medications and basic medical support. I also have seven months of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from energetic puppies to large breeds like Mastiffs, and am comfortable meeting the needs of pets with different personalities and care requirements. I work full-time at an animal shelter, so providing attentive, compassionate care for animals is already a part of my daily routine. My early morning to midday schedule allows me to spend the very beginning and end of my day focusing on giving your pets plenty of attention, care, and love! I share my home with a kitty who means the absolute world to me. He’s the sweetest boy and is always waiting at the door for cuddles the moment I get home. I make sure to keep life fun and enriching for him every day, whether that’s a long play session, brushing (his favorite) or a special treat. Because of how much I care for my own pet and pets at work, I understand how important it is to give animals the love, attention, and patience they deserve, and I’m confident I can provide that same level of care for your pets.
“David is amazing! He took my dog on an hour long walk and my dog instantly loved him. David is reliable, truly passionate about dogs, and easy to communicate with. My dog arrived home happy and tired. I’ll absolutely be booking with David again! 🐶”
“Jimmy was our first Rover and after only 2 walks, I can’t imagine having any other! He has great situational awareness and communication skills. He even did some research to find out why my pup lays down when another dog approaches. He’s working with her on this which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend you book with Jimmy. He’s so good with my girl, Riley. She loves him!”

His meticulous attention to detail and friendly, professional demeanor make every visit a delightful experience.

Alyxandria is the first dog walker we’ve hired on rover (actually ever) and I couldn’t be more impressed. She was great with our pup, very communicative, and overall super pleasant. I really felt like Gigi was in good hands. Def planning on working with Alyxandria in the future, thanks!

Cicely has been absolutely wonderful! She is always communicative, flexible with scheduling, and keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind. The best part is that my dog absolutely loves her and is always excited to see her. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she looks after, and I know my pup is in great hands every time. I highly recommend Cicely to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and easy to work with!

I’ve had Ann Marie to take care of my dog several times. She’s reliable, King enjoys her and she seems to enjoy King. And I trust her in my home. She provides good updates and cute pictures and she responds to messages quickly. I highly recommend you try Ann Marie. You won’t be sorry.

I needed someone last minute to walk my dog when I had to go out of town for work and Miranda went above and beyond! She did a same day meet and greet and then stayed extra time with my dog because there was a storm and he was anxious. Her communication was great and she sent several updates and pictures. I appreciated her level of care and would definitely book again with her in the future.
