“I adopted by beautiful black lab, Gus, from Austin Pets Alive back in June 2020. He is DEFINITELY a pandemic dog especially since I started working from home lol. Over the past few years, I have been able to take a few trips, but I was always able to take Gus with me since I was driving. A few months ago, I planned to attend a family member's wedding in Indonesia and was going to be gone for 3 weeks. I started looking for kennels to hold Gus but couldn't bear to leave him, I almost cancelled my trip out of anxiety of leaving him. That's where Katie came in. With her experience working at at vet clinic, owning dogs growing up, and being a pet parent herself, I felt confident Gus would be kept safe and given the love and attention he needs.
