During walks, I stay attentive to my surroundings and keep pets secure at all times. During drop-in visits or house sitting, I treat your home with respect and make sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, food, bathroom breaks, and companionship they need. I believe trust is earned through reliability, communication, and attention to detail. I’ll keep you updated during the visit or walk and am happy to send photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I spent 10 amazing years with my dog Olive, including providing dedicated care for her as a senior with special needs. Working remotely means I can give your pet plenty of time and attention, whether they are energetic and playful or calm and cuddly. I love ‘em all! I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to easily adapt my day around your pet’s needs. Whether they require frequent walks, playtime, or medication, that's no problem! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow any specific instructions you provide and keep a close eye on their well-being at all times.

About: The house I grew up in may as well have been a zoo! Every kind of animal, all of them cared for and loved 🫶 I have house/pet sat for numerous family members, friends, friends of friends, etc. and have always approached the responsibilities involved with the utmost care and respect. All animals deserve love and attention and that's something I'm happy to help provide, even if just for a quick walk or drop-in visit! My schedule is flexible and I’m willing to accommodate to you and your pet’s schedules. As long as it isn’t super super late, it should work out alright. Happy to do what I can to make your dog happy and comfortable! I’m unable to bring dogs to my house currently, but can easily travel to yours to care for your pup.

About: In high school I briefly volunteered at Keller HSNT and then pivoted to volunteering at a no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter called Operation Kindness where I was trained to properly look after both dogs and cats! I volunteered there for several years and I was able to walk the dogs there too, learning how to provide them a calm walk and to deescalate their stress in response to their environment. Additionally, I have my own two sweet dogs back home and I always take them on long walks and adore caring for them. Since they’re my family’s dogs, I don’t consider caring for them as professional pet care experience, but I do want to mention that my love for Buster and Mojo has taught me a lot of the basics! Although I’ve taken both of them on walks together before, I would prefer to walk one dog at a time when it comes to other people’s dogs, given that I am less familiar with their temperaments and I want to ensure that everything goes smoothly! Other than that, I absolutely loveeee animals and I enjoy spending time with them! I’ve looked after several of my friends’ dogs before and have been paid to walk some of my neighborhood dogs in high school, as well as dog and cat-sit for them! As a sophomore at UT, classes and student org events are what primarily make up my schedule. I’m usually pretty free on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, because I have classes until 10am those days. On Tuesdays and Thursdays however, my time is more limited because I’m generally unavailable until late afternoon on those days. Caring for a pet at a client’s home includes being incredibly knowledgeable of my client’s boundaries regarding their home, as well as communicating important parts of their pet’s routine. Safety is incredibly essential, and I know that my time and attention towards their pet is crucial: I have never allowed myself to pay more attention to my phone or other things when what I should be paying the greatest level of attention to is the client’s pet.

About: I have always had three dogs of my own my entire life, and have dog walked, pet sitted, and taken care of animals for as long as I can remember!! I am a student at UT but I have a very flexible schedule and reliable transportation to be able to come home as often as needed or wanted! I am available weekdays and weekends for boarding! I live in a large house in a residential neighborhood with a front yard and fenced-in back yard perfect for going outside and playing! I frequently walk throughout the neighborhood away from major streets which would be perfect for a dog!

About: I grew up caring for my miniature dachshund and spent years pet sitting for families in my neighborhood. Now that I work fully remote from home, I regularly care for my friends' dogs while they are out of town. I love providing pets with plenty of attention, companionship, and a comfortable environment so they feel right at home. I work fully remotely and from my apartment so I am able to give attention to your wonderful pets all day and accomodate to whatever schedule you prefer for them. I take breaks often and can play with them indoors or take them out to the nearby park for a walk or for playtime. I have a fenced in patio, so even when they are in my apartment, they can sit outside if they prefer. I also allow pets on my furniture.

About: I'm a caring sitter in the central Austin area and have a range of experience taking care of high-energy puppies and Chihuahuas, mellow senior dogs who require different medications, cats of all temperaments, as well as bunnies, guinea pigs, horses, and chickens. I know that animals all have highly individual needs, depending on breed, personality, age, and many other factors. I am a very loving and diligent caretaker and have so much fun walking and playing with animals, as well as tending to the houses where I stay. I am available on weekends and would love to have your pup join me for some time in the sun! I typically go on two 20+min hot girl walks daily, in addition to shorter potty breaks. About: I have fostered puppies for 11 years and part-time raised service dogs for 3 years. I’ve owned dogs and walked/taken care of dogs my whole life. I will make sure your dog receives the highest level of care and that all of their needs are met. I work fully remote, so I am available to care for your pet 7 days a week. I am an early riser and flexible with time, and can work from anywhere! I create a welcoming and comfortable for animals in my home, and allow them to trust me in theirs. I groom and train my service dogs frequently, am comfortable with feeding medications. I am happy to chill out, go for walks, snuggle, play, whatever will make your dog happy!

About: Hi there! I'm Janet and finally back on Rover! I work from home and love being outdoors. I've been the go-to sitter for my friends and family members' pets for years and love all dogs and cats and pets generally. I have a 12-y-o rescue who loves other dogs, and I regularly care for dogs with special needs, high activity levels, and more. Because I work from home, I take lots of breaks to play with dog in the backyard. We go on long walks in the morning and evening and have a consistent, reliable (boring?) schedule in the evenings. I love to pet, play with, and engage your dog on their own terms. If your pup wants space, that's ok too! I live in a house with a fenced backyard, and I also have a calm and dog-friendly (non-reactive) mixed breed rescue who makes other dogs feel welcome. I feed and provide snacks and medications following your instructions and have space to crate a dog indoors (though I do not own a crate).
