“Cicely was great. On time, followed the instructions and more importantly Kulfi my dog was happy when I went back home Thank you Cicely. Will ping you when I need again”

“Daniel is fantastic! He is great with pets, very responsive and is a great communicator. I am grateful that I found him so close to me. I will definitely continue to request him when needs arise.”

About: I'm a graduate student who primarily works from home, so I have lots of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day and week. I have no problem dropping in midday during the week if that’s what you need! I'm very sensitive to the individual attitude and preference of the cats and dogs that I care for - I've cared for friendly and outgoing animals, who wants lots of pets and playtime, but I've also cared for quieter, more introverted cats, who don't want intrusions into their safe spaces (especially when their humans aren't present). I respect the boundaries that pets set, and adapt accordingly! In addition, I’m detail oriented and will carefully follow the instructions you provide.
“We loved Mariia taking care of our pets for the week. She fed our cat and walked the dog twice a day- was always on time, clearly communicated, and was always friendly and professional. I would trust her in my home anytime.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Shih Tzus to German Shepherds to Great Danes. I have experience walking large dogs and senior dogs, and administering oral and topical medications. I’m currently a grad student on summer break and have plenty of time and flexibility to help care for your fur babies! I am happy to work around your schedule and provide the best care for your pets. My apartment has a spacious balcony if your pet likes to sunbathe and a fenced dog park right next door. I keep noise levels low, perfect for any pets that need peace and quiet to relax. I have a large bathroom that can comfortably house any new kitties while they adjust to a new boarding situation while giving them extra distance between their play area, food, and litter box. I’m also a cat mom to Bean, who’s a bit nervous around strange humans but loves other pets.
“Natalie did a great job walking my GSD Jansen. I got photos and updates. She was very considerate and good with communication. I will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have been watching, walking, and working with cats & dogs for over 9 years of my life. - I have a little yorkie at home (I currently don’t live with any pets at my apartment) - I’ve fostered a precious kitten - I’ve been pet-sitting many of my family friends pets for as long as I can remember I am detailed-oriented, attentive, & communicative with all pet-owners. I absolutely love all animals, so please don’t be afraid to reach out! I’m currently on summer break, so I’m not busy with school! (YAY) I have a bunch of time to take pets on walks, watch pets overnight, and check in at (pretty much) any time of day! I currently live at an apartment (smoke free & pet free) by myself. My apartment has a lot of open space, a dog park, and lots of sidewalks and trails to walk on! I am also comfortable with watching pets at their own home.

About: I've absolutely loved dogs since before I can remember! I've had 3 sweet pups throughout my life, spent plenty of time volunteering at animal shelters and currently have a very lovable and sweet golden-retriever as a roommate. I've been dog sitting for families, friends and neighbors since I was 10, and as a recent college graduate missing my family dogs at home, I've been loving the opportunity to stay and hang out with other people's furry friends. I currently work from home, so I'm available to spend lots of quality time with them every day of the week! As an avid runner/walker myself, I'd be more than happy to bring an extra friend along on walks or simply let them out to play if they need to expel some energy or enjoy the sunshine. I'm new to Rover but would love to help you out with your furry friend whenever and however you need it :) I currently work from home every day except Thursdays, so I have all the time in the world to spend with your pup! I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits or in-house sitting every day of the week (as long as they're able to go a couple of hours by themselves on Thurs). I typically start work at 8am so extra points if they're a morning dog. Every dog is different so I adjust to what they need most! Fast walks, slow walks, lots of stimulation, none at all, calm environment, quiet environment... I can do it all.
About: I’m reliable, attentive, and focused on making pets feel comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routines. I’m very communicative with owners and always provide updates and photos. I’m also patient with different personalities—whether that’s energetic dogs that need activity or more relaxed pets that just want calm companionship. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I’m typically up early and active throughout the day, which makes it easy to provide reliable morning and evening care. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, while making sure pets get plenty of attention and care. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is doing well.
“My dog is JUMPING for excitement to see Ashley everyday for his walk! She has great communication and is flexible with my unpredictable schedule! I love the updates and pictures she sends me of my pup having fun and exploring on their walks!”

“I was out of town and just landed in a different time zone when I receive a text from the person I had lined up to watch my dog canceled for health reasons. I threw out some Hail Mary's and Jaime came thru for us! The next day he checked in and asked if Cí Du was good. I really appreciate that! He was very flexible. Especially when the app had issues with time zone differences (VPNs effect it as well). I made the executive decision to overbook him, just incase anything else came up. Better for The Du to have too much attention than none at all, emirate? Jaime was a life saver! Definitely a go-to in the future!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11, including my own three dogs, and then my friends and family pets as well. I have also taken care of a goldfish for 7 years! and yes they really can live that long :) I am currently unemployed as I am a student, so I have a lot of free time on my hands, which means I can give your dog the love and attention they deserve while you're away! Morning and evening walks, consistent food schedule, and exposure to other people (my friends and family if they come over)! I am also guaranteed to walk your dog at least a mile everyday because i do daily walks myself!
About: Aside from my childhood large mutt and family cats, I cared for my dear Shih Tzu into her elder years, until she passed last winter. I think about and miss her everyday. Im familiar with food needing to be frozen flat on a lick mat and play consisted mostly of sniffing and sitting. I’m excellent at coming up with stimulating activities and forms of play beyond fetch, but also am a hobbyist speed walker (easier on the knees than jogging!) and love to get my 10k steps in every day. I’m a graduate student at UT Austin, taking the summer to focus on my thesis, which means I’m at home reading and researching and my schedule is my own. I always appreciate when a pet’s routine can jump start my day and am able to adapt to needs as they arise. Unfortunately my apartment is on the second floor so any boarders would either need to be able to climb or be small enough to be carried. My complex has a semi-fenced area and there’s a dog park not too far away. A smoke-free house, all cleaning supplies are kept in closed upper cabinets and trash cans all have lids or are raised.
“Heather was the first dog walker I've ever hired to walk my dog Molasses. In the beginning I was pretty nervous since I didn't know how Lass would do with someone else walking her and having a new person in my apartment while I was gone. Heather was great because she offered to do a meet and great before out 1st scheduled walk to make Lass and myself feel comfortable. I'm so grateful for this meet up! Lass loves Heather and their walks. Between the super cute photos I get and the love that my dog receives, I couldn't ask for a better walker!”
“Sarah was wonderful with my dog and also fantastic to work with! She is extremely responsive and reliable. Her communication is excellent (including lots of details and photos after each walk)! I will happily book her again!”

About: Dogs and cats have been beloved members of my family since I was a child. I have no problem walking in the summer heat! I’m a native Austinite. Most days I enjoy a walk and it would be great to have a fur-baby companion. I have a flexible schedule and many times am available on short notice. I make sure dogs are comfort with me before moving forward. Trust must be built with respect and patience. The response of the animal communicates their level of trust.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in high school! From feeding to walking friends, families, and neighbors pets, I have loved taking care of all of my furry friends. Whatever your pet needs, I will provide with joy! As a medical student, I know how important trust is, and I will take care of your pet like my own. I am a 21 year old incoming medical student, so I have a LOT of time on my hands! I only have class 3 hours a week, and I would love to spend my free time with your furry best friend. I will follow all directions left for me, and I will treat your home like my own. Trust and integrity are extremely valuable to me.
“I would highly recommend Abby! She was very responsive and took great care of our pup. We received updates and pictures while we were away which was very much appreciated. It's always hard to leave our dog, but felt she was in good hands with Abby!”
Upper Boggy Creek dog parents share their Rover experiences
Caroline is so great with our dog! I love how patient Caroline is with our dog's quirks and the excitement I see from my dog when she has Caroline take care of her. Caroline is the best with keeping me posted during her visits and I appreciate the after visit summaries she provides.

Alyssa was great! Very easy to work with and helped me with the details of the day to make sure my pup was well cared for. She was so kind to my boy at our meet and greet so I had no doubt he’d be in good hands. She sent pics and updates which I really appreciated!
