My job is flexible, so I work from my home or somewhere else. I also am flexible on weekends for pet care. My complex is in a safe area and has an accessible walking trail. About: I have had dogs my entire life. My dad was a dog trainer while I was growing up so I have always loved caring and spending quality time with dogs. We would have 8 dogs in our house at a time, the more the merrier. I just moved to Austin and deeply miss my 3 dogs at home so I am looking forward to much needed dog time! I am an online student so my schedule is super flexible! I love morning walks and am available for regular check-ins throughout the day! I am very familiar with a dog’s need for exercise. I have a lab of my own and am very comfortable taking dogs on walks, throwing a ball, and even taking them to swim.

About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking since 2016. I have experience with cats (kittens to seniors), dogs (puppies to seniors), rodents, fish and even plant care! I believe animals are special and unique in their own way and deserve love, care and respect. I currently have a very flexible work from home schedule. I am available for daily drop-ins and walks, Monday through Saturday from 8am to 8pm. I care for pets in their own home with mindfulness, respect, patience and safety. It’s crucial to be mindful in another’s space as well as calm to bring a peaceful energy for the pet.

About: The house I grew up in may as well have been a zoo! Every kind of animal, all of them cared for and loved 🫶 I have house/pet sat for numerous family members, friends, friends of friends, etc. and have always approached the responsibilities involved with the utmost care and respect. About: I have 3 dogs at home! Two are huskies that require a lot of energy while the sheltie doesn’t require as much walking but more attention! I want to get back into my routine of having animals since leaving for college I’ve been very bored! From owning and taking care of animals from dogs all the way to horses, I love animals so much and enjoy taking care of them! From a very young age, I’ve been taking care of friends and neighbors pets as long as I can remember. As a freshman in college, I have a lot of free time on my plate! I love to fill it with exercise but also want a job as well. I prioritize pets due to the fact that I can give a 100 percent since I have a lot of free time. I prioritize activity and one on one care with my animals and clients homes! I was a multi sport athlete in high school and I like to continue getting a lot of physical exercise so taking my dogs on long walks and making them feel loved is my top priority!

About: Hi I’m Michayla! I’m 28 and live in central Austin. I have spent much of my time in my childhood, teen years and adulthood, looking after various types of dogs. Growing up I had a Chihuahua mix, a large lab, a great Dane and French bulldog. I have a lot of experience with keeping a timely schedule for walks, feeding times and medication intake. I currently do not have any pets so I have a lot of availability to accommodate your pets needs. I only work part time in the evenings (4pm-11pm). I work exclusively in the evening at a restaurant that only does dinner service, so I have plenty of time to take your little one on long walks if need. I live in a neighborhood lots of outdoor spaces and pet friendly shops! I have a pet friendly apartment. I am also very time oriented so your little one will always be fed or given medication at the exact time they need to be.

About: Do you have a dachshund that you’re nervous to leave in someone else’s care because of how unique they are? I completely understand. I was the same way with mine. Dachshunds have their own little quirks, and their backs require some extra care. I know how important it is to have someone who understands how to properly pick them up and why you don’t want them constantly jumping off beds or couches. My home has stairs leading up to both, so they can get where they want to go without putting unnecessary stress on their backs. My husband and I also work from home full-time with flexible jobs, so your Velcro pup won’t be left alone. I’m able to give them lots of attention, hang out with them throughout the day, and take them outside as many times as they need. 5–6 times a day? No worries! I’ve watched multiple dachshunds for friends I’ve met through our local dachshund meetup, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know each of them and their little personalities. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dachshund with someone else, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in good hands. I decided to offer my services on Rover because I know what it’s like to be new to town and not have someone you trust to watch your dog. If you’re looking for someone who already understands dachshunds and all their little quirks, I’d love to meet you and your pup! My husband and I work from home every day, so we are at the beck and call of your pup! Whatever they need, I can provide: all day cuddles, potty outside breaks, mid-day walks… you name it. I have a knack for reading animal behavior- dogs have very clear warning signs when they’re on edge, shy, excited, etc. I will make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable and avoid any situations that may cause any doubt

About: Cooper and I love all animals. I’ve had dogs for 20+ years and have had multiple years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I promise your furry friend will be in good hands! I work full time, but can let dogs out during my lunch hour and can take care of dogs after 5 pm during the work week. On the weekends, we are fully able to take care of dogs throughout the day. We live in an apartment complex but have close access to the trail and an open dog park. I have a corgi; but can crate if needed. Your dogs safety is my first concern. Whatever you need, we can adapt!

About: For the first time in my life, I do not have a fur baby due to living in apartments. I've gone too long without caring for dogs which is why I've picked up pet sitting as a side job. I have a full time job so my availability is a little limited. My entire life, my dogs have been my best friends and I care for them more than I care for most humans so I understand the love other dog owners have for their babies. I am available on weekends and would love to have your pup join me for some time in the sun! I typically go on two 20+min hot girl walks daily, in addition to shorter potty breaks. Always up for cuddles or a game of tug-o-war! Cats can enjoy a game of laser play or other excitement. If boarding in my home, I have toys, and a dog stroller available if needed.
