About: I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is super flexible! I just love spending my extra time with cute dogs and cats. Animals have been a huge part of my life since I got my first dog at six years old, and today my three cats happily run the household. Friends know me as the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people, usually on the floor doing what we jokingly call "pet yoga" with whichever dog or cat wants to join. I have a special soft spot for rescue animals, senior pets, and those who need a little extra patience and understanding. I've supported local rescue organizations for years and even helped transport animals for Austin Pets Alive during the Texas floods. Whether your pet wants adventure, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is flexible! I’m an early riser and as a life long Texan, I don’t mind the middle of the day summer heat. Having worked with rescue animals and senior pets, I'm comfortable moving at each animal's pace and paying attention to the little details that help them feel secure and stress-free.

About: I've never met a dog or cat I can't win over. I meet them at their pace, never pushing unwanted interaction onto them. I have volunteered and fostered for multiple shelters. I have experience administering medicine, grooming, and bathing. Currently working part-time, so I'm relatively free to look after pets. I am also a morning person, and I don't mind getting up early to check in on and walk someone's baby, especially with how hot it is right now. I will follow your guidance on your dog or cat's care in your household to a T. I want to alleviate the stress an animal may feel meeting a new person by sticking to their usual routine.

About: I spent more than a decade loving a very large, very opinionated German Shepherd named Ruta through epilepsy, severe allergies, endless medication schedules, and his senior years, so “high-maintenance” pets don’t scare me. I tend to love them even harder. These days I’m supervised by Edwin, my mini Aussie rescue, who has strong opinions about other dogs, delivery trucks, and apparently several completely innocent squirrels. Living with him has made me very comfortable with boundaries, reactivity, slow introductions, and the fact that not every dog wants to be everybody’s friend. I’m also the person who genuinely wants the six-paragraph document explaining exactly how your dog likes breakfast. Give me the quirks, the routines, the medications, the weird little rules, the favorite toy, the thing they absolutely will not do unless you ask them in a very specific way. I want to know all of it. Basically: I take your pet seriously without taking myself too seriously. And yes, I will probably send you too many pictures. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, meds, couch hangs; tell me what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent. Tell me everything. What’s their routine? What makes them nervous? Are they an escape artist? A sock eater? Do they lose their mind when a skateboard goes by? How are they on leash? I’m big on respecting a pet’s boundaries and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’d much rather know about a quirk or trigger ahead of time than be surprised by it later.

On walks and during yard play, I stay 100% focused on your pet - maintaining a secure grip on the leash, monitoring weather and pavement conditions, and actively avoiding potential hazards or unfamiliar dogs. Building trust starts with clear, reliable communication. I make a point to send frequent updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. From double-checking fence latches to keeping strict safety routines, I take every precaution to give you complete peace of mind while you're away.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. I have always been the go-to with friends and neighbors to take care over night, walk or drop ins. I grew up with 3 dogs at once and from there have always had one of my own until recently with my job! I travel time to time for work, so owning one now isn’t in the cards. Being on Rover is the best of both worlds for me. I currently work from home, and have the flexibility to leave when needed. I wake up early for the gym, or a run, so if your dog likes running or needs a walk early in the morning, I can definitely do that as well. I live in an apartment, and it is very dog friendly. There are areas where other dogs are, if you are okay with that. I can wash the dog as well.

About: I don’t know a life without pets to care for! I was raised with both dogs and cats and currently have 2 big dogs of my own. I am regularly caring for friends, family, or friend of friends’ pets - both cats and dogs and including drop-ins or boarding at either their house or mine. For drop-ins and walks I am generally available weekdays from 11a - 6p for same-day notices. With a bit of notice I have weeknight availability. My two dogs have a large fenced backyard and a fenced front yard, and also get walks with my husband and I. My dogs are both 50-55 pounds and I can handle both simultaneously without issue. For both your dog and my safety, I don’t walk reactive dogs over 75 pounds unless my husband is available for assistance (limited availability and will require more advanced notice).

In the beginning I was pretty nervous since I didn't know how Lass would do with someone else walking her and having a new person in my apartment while I was gone. About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of animals all my life. I have a 9 year old cat and 15 month old dog. They are my pride and joy. I also have experience with elderly dogs and cats. I am currently in between jobs and have plenty of time on my hands. I am available to pet sit all week and most weekends. I live in an apartment complex with a dog park. I also have a 15 month old pup who I take for walks at least 3 times a day. He’s great with other dogs both small and large and he lives with a cat. He’ll keep your pets company.

About: I am a cat owner, dog aunt, and have had pets my entire life. I would love the opportunity to meet and care for your fur babies! I love taking dogs on long walks and playing with both cats and dogs. I hope to find repeat clients so that I can fully get to know your pets and their unique needs, and create a safe, comfortable experience for them while you're away. I work fully remotely and have a decent amount of flexibility throughout the work day. I am also available in mornings and evenings for walks and play time! I only offer dog walks or cat/dog visits in your home. I love going on long walks with dogs, playing with dogs and cats, and developing a friendship with animals.

About: I had an older dog for four years that I love to take care of. I am flexible with the activity levels of your pets. I work remotely. My job is flexible, so I work from my home or somewhere else. I also am flexible on weekends for pet care. My complex is in a safe area and has an accessible walking trail. I have reliable transportation to get me to and from client’s home.

About: Ever since I was a kid I have always felt like I have been in tune with animals. I always had 2 dogs and a cat or 2 cats and a dog growing up. As an adult I have volunteered at Animal sanctuaries and shelters. I donate to these institutions regularly. I don’t ever remember (nor do I ever want to), have a a time in my life where I don’t have a fur baby! They enrich your life so much! I have rescued ALL my fur babies! They are my kids! My world! I just rescued a 10 month old kitten who is more like a dog than a cat, IMO. So, If I become your sitter, I will treat your pets as if they were my own!
