“Very communicative and responsible with our young and vivacious puppy. Christian worked her flawlessly on walks, reinforcing some training we’ve been doing while adapting to any particular needs she had that day. I would highly recommend!”

“Olivia is great she is very polite, professional and attentive with my pet's needs and has great communication skills I can be at work and know my pet is in good hands. I would highly recommend her services!”

“Mariia is great at taking care of my girl, lots of pictures and videos, great communication, took the time to make sure she was clean after a rainy walk, my dog loved her immediately. Without a doubt I’ll keep requesting her help, 100% recommend”

“Gianna is the best! My dog loved her immediately and really enjoyed her lollygagging sniff and explore time after it’s been so rainy. So glad I booked her and will def call on her again!”

“Andy was GREAT with Eve. Took her on a long walk, send lots of photos and videos of a happy pup and played with her more at home. He also gave her dinner and stayed a little extra, which we so appreciated her having the company. He was very communicative and kind and Eve just loved him!”

“Allie was really incredible. She was very patient with my anxious pup, and available to accommodate me the day of when another sitter fell through. I’m very grateful for her detailed notes, as I left knowing my little guy was in good hands. I would love to work with her again. Thank you so much Allie!”

About: I spent more than a decade loving a very large, very opinionated German Shepherd named Ruta through epilepsy, severe allergies, endless medication schedules, and his senior years, so “high-maintenance” pets don’t scare me. I tend to love them even harder. These days I’m supervised by Edwin, my mini Aussie rescue, who has strong opinions about other dogs, delivery trucks, and apparently several completely innocent squirrels. Living with him has made me very comfortable with boundaries, reactivity, slow introductions, and the fact that not every dog wants to be everybody’s friend. I’m also the person who genuinely wants the six-paragraph document explaining exactly how your dog likes breakfast. Give me the quirks, the routines, the medications, the weird little rules, the favorite toy, the thing they absolutely will not do unless you ask them in a very specific way. I want to know all of it. Basically: I take your pet seriously without taking myself too seriously. And yes, I will probably send you too many pictures. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, meds, couch hangs; tell me what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent. Tell me everything. What’s their routine? What makes them nervous? Are they an escape artist? A sock eater? Do they lose their mind when a skateboard goes by? How are they on leash? I’m big on respecting a pet’s boundaries and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’d much rather know about a quirk or trigger ahead of time than be surprised by it later.
“Amelia is great! She’s been prompt and great, we had some issues with the building elevator etc and was ready to accommodate and make sure my pup was taken care of. I couldn’t recommend her more, she’s been great and I look forward to rebooking with her in the future 🙂”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for the last 25 years of my life. I just love how every pet has its own personality and how you connect on different levels with them. I treat every animal like my own, with patience, play and lots of belly rubs! I’m a homemaker so I have plenty of time especially in the mornings when my daughter is at school; and since I just have one kid and one dog I’m very available I have a fence yard in my house and a dog park in my neighborhood as well as a dog park just across the street

About: I have been surrounded by animals and family responsibilities my entire life, and caring for others is a core part of who I am. Growing up in a busy, dedicated pet-owning family, I spent years helping look after my little sister and raising three different dogs across all life stages. My first childhood dog, Fonzie, sparked my deep bond with animals early on. Later, our second family dog, Crembo, was my constant companion from the time I was seven years old until she passed away fifteen years later. Caring for her throughout her senior years gave me immense, hands-on experience handling aging pets and maintaining gentle, patient daily routines. Today, our family dog Kiwi has been a huge part of my life since I was sixteen, keeping me fully dialed into the daily energy, habits, and exercise needs of active pets. In addition to dogs, my family has also kept fish tanks my entire life, giving me a lifelong familiarity with maintaining basic aquarium care. Beyond my own family, I have a proven track record of independent responsibility when looking after other people's homes and pets, including a wide variety of dogs, cats, and fish. For nearly three years during high school, a neighbor hired me to care for her dog, Splenda, almost every single day after school. I managed her afternoon routine for an hour or two daily, ensuring she got her exercise, fresh water, and companionship before her owner returned from work. This long-term commitment taught me the absolute importance of punctuality and consistency in an animal's life. Over the years, I have regularly house-sat and pet-sat for various people, which includes managing feeding schedules and daily care specifically for a close family friend's cat over many successful stays. These experiences often involved staying at properties entirely alone overnight or managing them independently during the day. Because of this, I am highly adaptable to different home security systems, household rules, and unique pet personalities. My background working as a camp counselor and professional bartender also adds a strong layer to my reliability. I am deeply accustomed to high-trust environments, handling unexpected situations with a cool head, and maintaining strict organizational standards. Working in hospitality means I am naturally obsessed with cleanliness and organization, closing down spaces spotlessly, and keeping environments completely neat and tidy. I am fully accustomed to managing daily household chores and handling a property responsibly while owners are away, treating every home with the exact same respect I give my own. I recently relocated to Austin and I'm in the process of picking up part-time bartending shifts, which works out well for both of us — I get the time, and your pet gets someone who's actually around. I've got a sweet dog, Kiwi, back home, and I've missed having that kind of company since moving, so I'd love having a pet around again. My schedule is wide open — I'm available every day, any time, including weekends. Most of my days are spent job hunting, settling into the city, and just being around the house, so I'm home and available a lot, not squeezing visits in between other things. If your pet wants extra walks, more playtime, or just someone hanging around keeping them company, I'm happy to make that part of my day. I treat every client's home and pets the way I'd want mine treated. Since I only provide care in your home (house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking), my focus is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space, and that your home is exactly how you left it when you get back. Household Security & Care: I'll double-check doors and gates, make sure the alarm's set, bring in mail or packages, and keep things clean and tidy the whole time I'm there, like you never left. Safety on Walks: Dogs stay securely leashed, and I keep an eye out for other dogs, traffic, and Texas heat on the pavement. I'm also a bigger guy, so if your dog's a puller, gets nervous in busy spots and needs to be held close, or just needs a lift now and then, even a big dog, that's genuinely no trouble for me. Routine & Health Monitoring: I'll stick to your exact feeding, medication, and exercise routine, and I pay attention to how they're acting, eating, and moving so I notice early if something feels off. Communication: You'll get daily photos, a quick note on how walks and meals went, and a fast reply whenever you reach out, so you're not left wondering how things are going.

“Lily is AWESOME!!! Justice (my precious dog), was anxious when he first met her, but Lily was extremely patient and SO VERY loving and gentle with him - Needless to say, Lily quickly won him over!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤️”

“Ollie absolutely loves his walks with Madison; he gets so excited when she arrives. Madison is reliable, communicative, and clearly a true dog person. Ollie has some leash reactivity challenges, and I really appreciate the care and attention she takes to keep him engaged, set him up for success, and avoid situations that might trigger a reaction. It’s obvious that she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and tailors her approach to their individual needs. Don’t overthink it; book a walk with Madison! 🐾”

Andy was GREAT with Eve. Took her on a long walk, send lots of photos and videos of a happy pup and played with her more at home. He also gave her dinner and stayed a little extra, which we so appreciated her having the company. He was very communicative and kind and Eve just loved him!

Amelia is amazing! She walks my dog weekly and before starting she took the time to meet Winnie before hand and she had a list of the most thoughtful questions she should know before starting which made me feel super comfortable!! She always sends her walk route and a bunch of pictures of what they did on the walk including Winnie’s water and potty breaks. I would recommend her to anyone! She has given me great peace of mind while I am working in the office that my dog is being taken care of and winnie loves her!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nicole! She watched my dog Bronson for an entire week, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better person to care for him. She was incredibly attentive, loving, responsible, and communicative the entire time. I never once had to worry about whether he was okay I knew he was in such good hands. Bronson was clearly so comfortable and happy with her, which means everything to me. It’s not easy leaving your dog for that long, but Nicole gave me complete peace of mind and treated him like he was her own. I came home to a happy, well cared for boy, and I’m beyond grateful. Nicole is an absolute gem, and I would trust her with Bronson again without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for your pet rather than simply “watch” them, she is your person. 10/10, five stars, cannot recommend her enough! 🖤🐾

Alyxandria is the first dog walker we’ve hired on rover (actually ever) and I couldn’t be more impressed. She was great with our pup, very communicative, and overall super pleasant. I really felt like Gigi was in good hands. Def planning on working with Alyxandria in the future, thanks!

Cicely has been absolutely wonderful! She is always communicative, flexible with scheduling, and keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind. The best part is that my dog absolutely loves her and is always excited to see her. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she looks after, and I know my pup is in great hands every time. I highly recommend Cicely to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and easy to work with!
