About: I’ve spent pretty much my entire life surrounded by animals. Growing up in Greece, my parents and I regularly took in stray dogs and cats and gave them permanent homes. At our peak, we had four dogs and six cats at the same time, most of whom simply walked into our backyard one day and apparently thought, “Yep, this will do!” They never left. Since moving to Austin five years ago, I’ve been pet sitting for friends and, thanks to word of mouth, friends of friends (and eventually people I had never met, which I take as a good sign). I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, and have been trusted with walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, and overnight stays. I’m very comfortable around animals and fully accept that while you’re away, your pet is the boss and I’m merely the staff. And yes, that’s Anna, our Westie, in my profile picture. She still lives with my parents in Greece, and whenever I FaceTime them, she is required to appear on screen first. My parents have accepted their place in the hierarchy. I’m a graduate student at UT, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule. Even on days when I need to be on campus, I often come home during my lunch break.
 My days usually start around 6 a.m. with a workout and wind down around 10 p.m. with a book in bed, so I’m happy to accommodate both early risers and pets who take their beauty sleep very seriously. Walks, playtime, meals, check-ins, and plenty of attention can easily fit into my daily routine. If your pet loves a routine, I’m your person. I know how much animals rely on familiarity, especially when their humans are away, so I’ll follow their normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I’m active and always happy to go for a long neighborhood walk—or, if you live downtown, your dog and I may become regulars on the trail. But I’m equally committed to the important work of doing absolutely nothing. If your pet prefers couch time, they’re welcome to join me while I read. I’ll handle the book; they can handle the naps. Above all, I’ll treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I’d want someone to show mine, and I’m happy to send plenty of updates and photos while you’re away.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have been a faithful companion to my black cat, Odysseus, for the last 14 years. I also have experience caring for fish, snakes, and rats! I am working part time so I usually have flexibility during the day between 11am and 10pm to take care of your animals. Weekends are more limited but I can usually find time for an early morning or late night check in. I will be incredibly respectful of your home and do my best to make your pets feel comfortable and loved while you are away. I'll send you lots of pictures and all the detailed updates you want on your pets!

About: Having grown up with two dogs, I have developed a deep understanding of canine behavior and care. My experience has taught me how to effectively manage their needs, from training to health care, ensuring a balanced and happy environment for them. What sets me apart is my intuitive connection with dogs, honed through years of personal experience, which allows me to address their unique needs with empathy and expertise. I am available anytime between 8-5pm! If you’d need me after 5pm, we can coordinate the schedule. I’m also available the whole day on Saturday When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their routine and environment to ensure they feel secure and comfortable. This involves adhering to the pet’s established schedule, providing consistent care and attention, and managing any specific needs or preferences they have. My approach includes clear communication with the client to address any concerns and ensure that their pet's well-being is upheld while they're away.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, with a lot of experience with senior dogs, small dogs, and cats in particular. I recently lost my soul dog, Chubby, who I'd had since I was 14. There's a huge hole in my heart, and I'd love to pour that love into any animal who needs it. My fiancé and I both fully work from home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to take care of your sweet fur babies! Our house has no other pets and a small, private, fenced backyard with turf. When I'm caring for pets in your home, I'm a respectful house guest and will follow your routines to a T. Whatever it takes to keep your babies safe and happy, I'm on it!

In a client’s home, I aim to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible for the pet. I follow all instructions closely, keep their routine consistent, and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I also respect the home by keeping it clean and tidy, and I always make sure doors, gates, and any safety instructions are carefully followed. For dogs, this includes walks, playtime, enrichment, and calm companionship depending on their energy level and personality. For cats, I adjust to their comfort level-whether that means interactive play, feeding and litter care, or simply being a calm presence while they have space. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so pet parents feel reassured and connected while they’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for as if they were my own.

About: I am an independent contractor and work flexible hours M-F. I’ve cared for dozens of pets and enjoy treating each fur baby like it’s my own. I’m fully comfortable with both dogs and cats of any age and size. I hope to meet you and your pet sometime soon! I work M-F and only till 12:30 pm on Fridays. My weekends are typically open/flexible. So I’ll have plenty of time to help care for your pet! The dogs I usually care for stay in a gated area until walk times, at which time I take them out to relieve themselves/play for 30 minutes or so a few times during the day. However, I'm happy to follow any special instructions regarding your pet.

About: I have had many different animals growing up, including big dogs and also small dogs and feel super comfortable around both. I have cared for many different breeds of dogs, including a 6 month old puppy with a heart murmur. I’ve also taken care of many different cats all different breeds! I have cared for many of my friend’s pets before and have been around many different animals growing up. I love getting to meet new animals and making sure you feel like your pet is in good hands because i’d want to feel the same way as well! I am pretty flexible with my hours / time. I work from home so I am usually super open and can make time within the day. I care for them depending on the specific needs that they have. If they need space I will make that work to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I have two cats that are completely opposite and need different things, I think it is really important for them to feel safe and comfortable.

About: Grew up my entire life with dogs in our home. I have also provided care for injured and pregnant dogs and assisted with the birth. I am fairly flexible and can adjust at the drop of a dime if you need help. I do my best to accommodate you and your pet I adjust to each pet per your instructions and suggestions.
