About: I have 3 years of hands-on pet care experience with a diverse range of animals, specializing in dog and cat care, with additional expertise caring for chickens, lizards, bunnies, and other pets. My clients appreciate my flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to handle both young puppies and senior pets with equal care and patience. I'm currently pursuing my dog behavioral training certification through GoodPup, giving me deeper insight into pet behavior and communication. I also bring an EVERLIT Pet First Aid Kit with me to every booking and walk—your pet's safety is my priority. What sets me apart is my commitment to exclusive, focused care. I don't have my own pets and I never double-book: your pet gets my complete, undivided attention. I work from home with flexible hours, which means I'm available throughout the day for their needs: morning and afternoon visits in a single day, weekend availability, or multi-week house sitting. This flexibility is especially valuable for puppies, seniors, and high-energy dogs that need consistent attention. My clients appreciate knowing their pet is receiving dedicated care in a calm, stress-free environment where I prioritize safety, respect your home, communicate transparently, and tailor care to each pet's unique personality. I work from home with very flexible hours, which allows me to easily accommodate your pet's needs: House Sitting: Full-time presence in your home with availability throughout the day and overnight. I'm particularly great for puppies and senior dogs that need consistent attention. No extra cost for pets requiring constant care. Regular Visits: I'm flexible around your schedule and can easily manage both morning and afternoon visits in a single day. I'm always available on weekends and can adjust timing based on your needs. Flexibility: I'm comfortable with extended multi-week bookings. My work-from-home setup means your pet never feels alone. I'm genuinely present throughout the day, working in your common areas while providing company and regular updates. I always prioritize the safety and well-being of the pets I care for. I ensure they're comfortable, follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, and engage in playtime tailored to their needs. I keep the environment clean, respect clients' homes, and communicate regularly to maintain trust and transparency. If it's my first time caring for your pet, I provide an optional care guide for you to fill out with questions about your pet like walking routes, food schedule, favorite toys, and more. For house sits specifically, this includes questions like where cleaning supplies are located and house care preferences like watering plants and getting mail.
“Jillian has been great to work with. I receive excellent (adorable) photo updates and extremely timely pickup/dropoff notifications. Any level of activity, any size, any breed, I’d recommend Jillian.”

“John came through last minute when I came down with a bad cold, he was so kind to myself and Juno & took her on a nice long walk twice, the same day. I definitely recommend John!”

About: I’ve had dogs for 20+ years and have had multiple years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I promise your pup will be in good hands! I work full time, but can let dogs out during my lunch hour and can take care of dogs after 5 pm during the work week. On the weekends, i’m fully able to take care of dogs throughout the day. I live in an apartment complex but have close access to the trail and an open dog park. I have a corgi; but can crate if needed. Your dogs safety is my first concern. Whatever you need, we can adapt!
“Katrina was wonderful! She responded quickly and was so kind during our meet-and-greet. Bucky felt immediately comfortable with her and even went right up to her for pets. She asked great questions, paid attention to every detail, and followed all instructions perfectly. Highly recommend!”

About: I started pet sitting when I was 18 to earn some extra money in college, and I’ve been doing it ever since. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes, and I’m great at following special instructions. Additionally, photography is a hobby of mine, so there’s a pretty good chance that you’ll get some good pics of your pet in the process. I’m currently in graduate school, so I have a good amount of flexibility in my schedule, whether it’s during the week or over the weekend. I know how important your pet is as a member of your family! I’m happy to meet their needs, whether it’s walking, playing, belly-rubbing, or comforting them.
About: Dogs have been part of my life since before I could walk! I grew up in a home with dachshunds, pugs, labs, and lovable mutts (not to mention guinea pigs, hamsters, lizards, fish and even a duck at one point), which means I've had hands-on experience with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and care needs from a very young age. Feeding schedules, daily walks, baths, brushing, and basic training were just part of growing up. At home, I help my roommate to care for a bichon and a dachshund. Beyond my own household, I've regularly cared for family and friends' dogs and cats, fitting into their routines seamlessly and keeping their pets comfortable and happy. I'm confident with both high-energy dogs that need a good long walk and lower-key companions who just want company and consistency. What sets me apart: dogs have simply always been part of my world. I'm easy-going, calm, and genuinely attentive. I'm generally a homebody so pets in my care get attentive and consistent company. I work fully remote (part-time) with a flexible schedule, which means pet care fits easily into any part of my day. I'm not squeezing walks in between a 9 to 5 or rushing to jump back into a meeting. I can genuinely adapt to what your dog needs and take all the time they need for extra belly rubs. I have my own car, so I can reach clients across a wide area reliably and on time, regardless of weather or transit issues. Last-minute requests and schedule changes are usually not a problem. When I'm caring for a pet in your home, my priority is keeping things calm, consistent, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow the owner's instructions closely (such as feeding times, walking routes, off-limit areas, any quirks or phobias your pet has) because familiar routines reduce stress for animals and build trust quickly. I'm attentive to safety on walks: I keep dogs on leash, pay attention to their reactions to other dogs and people, and don't take risks. I'll always communicate with you — a quick update or photo so you know your pet is doing well. Your home and your pet are treated with genuine care and respect.
About: As a bilingual sitter, I can communicate clearly with more families and make sure every detail of your pet's care is understood. Most importantly, I treat every pet like family—with patience, love, and plenty of attention—so you can feel confident they're in good hands while you're away! I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. I am also comfortable administering medications and following specific care routines, whether that involves senior pet care, special diets, or detailed health and wellness needs! I recently moved to Austin and am excited to explore the city, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, specially with summers off! I have a flexible schedule and enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means walks, playtime, drop-in visits, or following specific care routines. Pet sitting allows me to do something I love while getting to know the community, and I make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I can’t host pets at my home, but I’m happy to care for them in their own home. I take dogs and cats on walks, spend time with them, and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their familiar environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and focus on giving each pet the attention and care they need so that they feel loved and genuinely cared for!
“Jeremy is a great Rover walker. It’s so hot outside that we needed to bump back the time of the walks and just mostly play indoors and he is very accommodating. Our dog loves seeing him each day!”

“James was great with my pup, Princesa. He dropped in to take her for a walk on 2 long days when I was at the office and I came home to a relaxed and happy pup! Will definitely hire him again!”

About: Hello Friends! I'm a reliable and experienced pet sitter with over 5 years of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I live two blocks from a dog park and right off the Lady Bird Lake trail, so if your pup loves to walk or go on a sniffari, say less. However, if your pet prefers lounging/cuddles, I’m happy to keep things calm and cozy at home; after all, it's their vacation too! I’m extremely attentive to each pet’s needs, routines, and quirks, and always treat pets like family. Whether it's active play or chill companionship, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Currently working full time in a hybrid role- 3 minute walk to my office. I am able walk home to accommodate any special pet needs, let them out, feed, etc. if I am working from my office that day; I usually go home during my lunch to see my doggo and let him out/go for a walk. I live in an apartment complex that is very dog friendly. The property is gated and provides multiple open areas for pets to hang out, go to the bathroom, and/or exercise. My home has multiple rooms if you require your pet to be crated or would like their own space. I also live close to Lady Bird trail for walks and a couple blocks away from a dog park if your pet loves to be social! My dog and I average about 3-5 miles throughout the day and can accommodate your pet's needs as well!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Riverside
It only took a couple of minutes at the start of the pre-engagement meeting and for it to become clear to me that Zach is an excellent experienced dog handler. My own experience with dogs includes training Australian Shepherds for sheep herding competitions and I have qualified for national competition twice. My yardstick for rating a dog handler has a correspondingly higher bar. So along with my complement was that quick understanding that I didn’t need to know anything else and that my dog was is as safe hands as she could be in. People simply don’t reach Zach’s level of engaging with dogs without also demonstrating to the dog that the dog is in anything other than very safe hands and that doesn’t happen if it’s not actually true. So with my and the dog’s approval, Zach was hired and lived up to both mine and the dog’s expectations. No problem.

Had a great experience with our Rover walker! Mariana was very communicative throughout, sent lots of pictures, and kept us updated the whole time. Our dogs looked happy and well taken care of after each walk. Really appreciated her help and would definitely recommend her to others!

Laura was friendly, kind, and incredibly patient during her first meeting with our dog. She gave our pup the time and space to acclimate at her own pace, which we really appreciated. Laura also provided thoughtful guidance as we begin establishing care with her as our walker. It’s clear she truly loves dogs, and we’re excited to continue building a strong, trusting relationship with her and our new pup. Thank you again, Laura!
