About: I am a caring, empathetic pet owner with two decades of experience raising dogs and cats from cradle to the rainbow bridge. I have cared for pets at all stages and energy levels of life. I can give your high-energy dog a satisfying walk or I can come hang out with a senior fur baby for some calm petting and chit chat. I have experience administering oral medication to my pets and will keep an eye on your fur baby's health while you are away. I will give extra attention to the pups who seem lonely, and stay hands off to our feline friends who are just looking for the next meal. In addition to being a long time pet owner I am a professional software engineer (currently between gigs). I am very diligent about following instructions, communicating effectively, and keeping a consistent schedule. i am a software engineer currently between gigs. My schedule is wide open and thought I could make some spare money doing something that I love. I’d like to stay local to the Lakeshore area and keep it easy within walking distance. I can’t host pets in my apartment. I can only check in for other homes. I am 40+ years old with a clean record, sober, value your privacy as much as my own. I follow instructions to the letter and guarantee loving attention to my work.

About: Hi all! I’m a 26 year old girl who has taken care of cats and dogs for almost 3 years already. I mainly foster babies through Austin pets Alive and love finding them new homes. I’m also okay with animals with ringworm, incontinence, FELV… love them all :) I have good experience with neonatal animals, animals with paralysis, parvo and other medical issues! I am okay with giving oral meds, injections and taking care of any wounds if needed! I live right on the lake so I’m constantly taking walks. No worries on your little baby not going outside while they are with me! 🥰🥰 I always send pictures and videos so you are comfortable with me and make sure your baby is in the right hands! I work from home! So I have plenty of time to take them to go play and be with them. I live near the river so going on walks is super easy :) I am absolutely in love with animals! The only reason why I don’t have them right now is because I think it would be a big long term responsibility I need to think of haha! I offer food, water and comfy beds (even though I let them in my bed all the time) and most importantly, love and treats!
About: I have cared for and watched dogs all my life! Love taking them on walks for some good exercise for us both! I also have my own dog (currently not so me in city) and he was very high energy, so I am used to that as well. All dogs are welcome! I would be able to take any lunchtime walk in between 12 pm-1 pm and also 5pm-7pm. Can be flexible if any other time is requested, just please let me know and I can work it out. I am sure to be careful and watch them on a frequent basis to ensure that they are comfortable and happy. Work from home so I can keep a watchful eye on them! I have a pretty spacious apartment so lots of room for them to roam around. When it comes to walking, I have many paths and walkable areas by me as well.

“Ramajana is fantastic! I was nervous having someone walk my dog for the first time but she is very kind, really easy to communicate with, and gave me updates on how it went. I’m looking forward to having her walk my dog on a weekly basis!”

About: I've helped take care of family pets since I was 10 years old, and my partner and I have 2 dogs together who I absolutely adore ❤️ More than 100 happy pet parents across Austin know me as a reliable, communicative, adaptable, and trustworthy pet sitter! My two fur babies are currently in training, and through this process I have learned a wealth of obedience skills that I can implement when caring for your pet. I also loved training my first puppy, Lucy, and before she passed later in life, I helped care for her when she was struggling with bladder cancer. I cared for my parent's three dogs, including one fur baby who was very sick at the time and needed medication and medical attention multiple times a day. I've cared for other friend and family pets through extended home stays and quick drop ins for walks and feedings. I work remotely, so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets throughout the day and evening. Beginning in October 2025, I will be a full time pet sitter!! I am available weekdays and some weekends, and can accomodate short notice requests. I am also an active person, so if you have very energetic dogs who need to get their zoomies out, I am more than happy to take them on runs, long walks, or play fetch with them! I have a keen attention to detail and am very particular about how I care for myself, my dogs, and my home, so you can rest assured that I will care for your pet exactly as instructed! I am also very safety minded and will make sure to protect your pet, other animals, and other people they may interact with when in my care.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for the last 10+ years, dogs of all sizes and breeds from puppies to senior dogs. I have done everything from overnights to drop in walks during the day. I cannot wait to meet your dog(s)!! Hello!! Currently work a fully remote role and missing a furry companion, after losing my Maltese to old age. I live a very active lifestyle, always walking on the trail or at the dog park with friends I live adjacent to two dog parks and very close to the Butler trail. My apartment is one story and without any dangers or hazards.

About: I dream of one day owning my own pet hotel, complete with boarding, daycare, and spa services. Until then, nothing makes me happier than caring for your fur babies and treating them like family. I’ve spent time researching dog and cat body language, and I’m confident reading common cues like tail, ear, and overall body posture so I can respond to what your pet is communicating and help them feel safe and understood. I also know that pets need different levels of care at different stages of life, and I’m familiar with general warning signs to watch for in both cats and dogs. I’m a trusted go-to sitter for friends. I’m also comfortable with special care needs, including administering insulin to dogs when needed.
About: Growing up in a house that was always filled with animals from dogs (had 5 at once at one point) to turtles and hermit crabs, I have always been a big dog and animal lover in general! I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own at this time, so I enjoy taking advantage of other opportunities as much as I can like volunteering at the Austin Animal Center, fostering, and dog sitting for friends. I fostered 3 kittens when I was in college and just recently fostered a sweet 7 month old Great Pyrenees/lab retriever mix for 3 months until I helped him find a home. My previous roommate had 2 dogs, so I’ve been missing the consistent puppy love! I live with my boyfriend and we both work from home, so between the two of us, your pet will get constant love and attention! I enjoy going on daily walks, so figured why not do it with some company :) I work from home the majority of the time so I would love to spend my days working in my apartment with a sweet pet to keep me company! I live right on the Lady Bird Lake trail that I walk on everyday, as well as surrounded by plenty of open grass areas, and access to an enclosed personal dog area. Between my boyfriend and I at the apartment, someone will always be loving on your pet!
About: I had been a dog owner for the past 4 years and I have taken care of my family dog for as long as I can remember. I've been known to love and care for them as if they were my own. I've bathed, walked and fed a lot of family friend's dogs and know exactly how to properly take care of them. I was recently laid off so I am available any day throughout the week including weekends. As of now, I am available every day on a full-time basis. I live in a studio apartment with a gated dog park and very close to the trial where I would love to take your dog for a walk.
“Kim is the best! She always sends an update very promptly after walks with our dogs and she takes great care of them! She truly has a way with animals and even our shyest boy loves her!”

“Megan has been great working and walking my little pup Riley, who is always happy to see her! Very communicative and great updates on how the walks are going, and has been a relief knowing my dog has some companionship when I have to work. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jeremy is a great Rover walker. It’s so hot outside that we needed to bump back the time of the walks and just mostly play indoors and he is very accommodating. Our dog loves seeing him each day!”
