I work a 8-4 Monday-Friday job but am available after 4:30pm anywhere in Austin and during the week and midday for South Austin visits/walks. About: I’ve worked at an Animal Hospital for 3 years and have more knowledge on pet care and health than most! My friends have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats when they’re out of town or unable to come home during their work day. Whether that’s just hanging out in their space, taking them on walks, administering meds, or having play time, the pets in my care are sure to feel safe and loved in my company. I’m currently on my self discovery journey and not working at a full or part time job. So, I’m pretty available, outside of taking care of my own kitties. When coming into you and your pets space, I make sure to discuss with you any behaviors your animal might display. It can be a little scary to meet a new person sometimes, so talking about whether or not your pet does best with being praised, given treats, or giving them their own space to come to you, will be a big part in developing that trust with them. About: I've been dog sitting since I was 8 years old, and I've had a dog by my side my entire life, caring for animals isn't just something I do, it's something I've always done. Consistency matters to pets, and I'm able to offer real consistency in walk times, feeding schedules, and check-ins. Whether I'm in your home or mine, safety and routine come first. In your home, I follow your instructions to the letter — feeding schedules, medication timing, leash/collar preferences, and any household rules you have (furniture, gates, alarm codes) are treated as non-negotiable. I do a full walkthrough on arrival to check food/water access and secure any hazards. If pets are staying in my home, it's a calm, secure, pet-proofed environment — no unsupervised access to other animals unless you've approved a meet-and-greet first, and I keep a consistent daily rhythm (feeding, walks, downtime) so pets settle in quickly. I send photo/video updates so you always know your pet is safe and content, and I'm reachable by phone throughout the stay for anything urgent.

About: I started pet sitting when I was 18 to earn some extra money in college, and I’ve been doing it ever since. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes, and I’m great at following special instructions. Additionally, photography is a hobby of mine, so there’s a pretty good chance that you’ll get some good pics of your pet in the process. There are no other dogs in my home. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I'm a marathon runner and I love to exercise; I'm looking forward to staying fit along with your furry friend! With a park up the road, early morning walks are a daily occurrence and plenty of room in the backyard for fetching and sniffing.
