Many clients have disclaimed their dogs are “COVID pups”. They’ve been used to having people around constantly and get anxiety when they're away. Rest assured I am attentive and loving to animals who seek cuddles, scratches, and belly rubs and only when it's invited. I can give them the wind down attention they sometimes need and they have time to adjust to the area and don’t become overwhelmed by a new environment or new person in their home. Although I take precautions with more sensitive pets who bark a lot or have potty issues which I can handle. I have found that my boundaries draw a line if when excited the dog jumps up constantly in my face (& head butts my nose, which happened while meeting a dog) or lunges at me while barking aggressively and growling when afraid of being alone with me, (even after being nice with me during the warm introduction with the owners present) If your pet is prone to these behaviors unfortunately, I won’t be able to help care for your pet properly or comfortably. Sorry in advance to those I know are good pets but require a more skilled trained pet sitter!

Depending on the energy of the dog I love tug of war, fetch, and frequent walks for potty breaks, going on a run, and other enrichment exercise. Depending on their experience, I love to teach new tricks and reward with a treat in moderation of course. My goal is to get out the energy with healthy play so they can sleep peacefully.
