About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of animals all my life. I have a 9 year old cat and 15 month old dog. They are my pride and joy. I also have experience with elderly dogs and cats. I am currently in between jobs and have plenty of time on my hands. I am available to pet sit all week and most weekends. I live in an apartment complex with a dog park. I also have a 15 month old pup who I take for walks at least 3 times a day. He’s great with other dogs both small and large and he lives with a cat. He’ll keep your pets company.

Im available all day on weekdays and sometimes during the weekends, which allows me to be flexible with exercise, pet care, making homemade dog treats, and making sure your pup has a play and nap schedule. I enjoy staying active and getting outside, and I’m reliable about making sure dogs get the attention, exercise, and care they need. Safety and awareness are always my top priorities when caring for pets. I’ve trained my own dog, Ford, to stay calm and non-reactive on trails and around other dogs, so I’m very comfortable managing different situations during walks. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to read dog behavior and handle a variety of personalities—from high-energy dogs to more cautious or sensitive ones. About: I’m a Student athlete at St. Edwards University. I have had animals my whole life! I have been pet sitting since I was 11 years old. I’ve trained my own pets my whole life! Please reach out! I am currently in college so I have a lot of free time where I’m just sitting on my computer doing homework and I would love to be able to hangout with animals during that time! I have an open field to play with the pets but they will always be on a leash/lead! I am also open to bringing them to a dog park!

About: I reside in South West Austin. My experience includes puppies, adult and senior dogs. I have experience with giving medication, resource guarding, food aggression, and reactive dogs. I also have experience with cats as well through my own two. I’m currently working remote so plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am completely open on weekends and weekdays. I prefer to do house sitting or boarding. I like to maintain an active lifestyle which includes plenty of walking and playing. I do not have a fenced yard so if boarding, I will need to walk your dog. I am right by a huge park so plenty of room to roam and sniff! I have a large livingroom so if crating is needed then no problem! I personally prefer against crating unless absolutely necessary. I like to treat them as if they are my own pet! Lot’s of cuddles and access to the couch and bed. I send plenty of updates and photos for each day.

About: Hi, I'm Scott! I grew up with a big lab-retriever at home. I've been helping take care of my friend's pets for as long as I can remember but I have no pets of my own. There are no other dogs in my home. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I'm a marathon runner and I love to exercise; I'm looking forward to staying fit along with your furry friend! I will treat your furry friend with love and respect and will make sure that your Rover experience goes smoothly. I do not have any dogs at home. I just left my job in strategy consulting and have abundant free time. I can’t think of a better way to spend my sabbatical than spending time with your pet. I own a quiet, well cared for, and clean home. I have a fenced in yard and friendly neighbors in a safe part of town.

About: I've lived with and cared for my own and others' cats/dogs for more than a decade. I've also house sat for both cats and dogs for friends and family, from quick drop-ins to multi-week stays. I'm the guy who speaks directly to dogs and cats he passes on the street, even when I don't know their owners :) I strive to really get to know the animals I work with and always like to spend the few minutes of each visit simply sitting with and observing an animal to understand how it's feeling on any given day before going through its routine. I love building relationships with shy animals and seeing their personality blossom over time as they get to know me. Happy to send photos / videos or whatever else you need to feel confident that your pet is receiving the same level of care you would give him or her yourself if you were home. I work from home and am available most days up until 3PM. I'm happy to do check ins and walks and can also spend longer blocks of time with your pet as well. As someone who has left my own pets in the care of others, I understand that these are your 4-legged children and how important it is to follow the instructions you leave. Every animal is a unique personality with his or her preferences, needs and nuances, and it's all the more important to honor these when their most important humans are away.

About: I have had 5 dogs throughout my my life. 2 Weimaraners, 2 Pomeranians, and a mini golden doodle. Currently my mini golden doodle lives with me in Austin. I love dogs and spending quality time with them as well as going on walks. I am very good at training a dog to heel on a leash as well as being patient with dogs. I am currently working full time so I have more availability in the afternoons after 5:30 pm and am usually free on the weekends. I will not be able to bring others pets into my home because of my own dogs but am more than happy to come play with them at their home and take them on walks.

About: Cooper and I love all animals. I’ve had dogs for 20+ years and have had multiple years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I promise your furry friend will be in good hands! I work full time, but can let dogs out during my lunch hour and can take care of dogs after 5 pm during the work week. On the weekends, we are fully able to take care of dogs throughout the day. We live in an apartment complex but have close access to the trail and an open dog park. I have a corgi; but can crate if needed. Your dogs safety is my first concern. Whatever you need, we can adapt!

About: Do you have a dachshund that you’re nervous to leave in someone else’s care because of how unique they are? I completely understand. I was the same way with mine. Dachshunds have their own little quirks, and their backs require some extra care. I know how important it is to have someone who understands how to properly pick them up and why you don’t want them constantly jumping off beds or couches. My home has stairs leading up to both, so they can get where they want to go without putting unnecessary stress on their backs. My husband and I also work from home full-time with flexible jobs, so your Velcro pup won’t be left alone. I’m able to give them lots of attention, hang out with them throughout the day, and take them outside as many times as they need. 5–6 times a day? No worries! I’ve watched multiple dachshunds for friends I’ve met through our local dachshund meetup, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know each of them and their little personalities. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dachshund with someone else, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in good hands.
