About: I have worked in the pet industry for 16+ years. I have worked as a tech assistant, kennel worker, dog walker and caretaker in 2 veterinary practices. I have owned an operated a small dog grooming business. I have boarded many of my clients dogs in my residence. I am reliable, trustworthy, kind, compassionate and funny. I have a little Yorkie that is truly my heart! I adore him and could not imagine life without him. I LOVE dogs! I always treat any dog that is in my care as if they were my own. About: I’ve personally taken care of dogs and cats for over the last 15 years and currently have my own pup! It only took a couple of minutes at the start of the pre-engagement meeting and for it to become clear to me that Zach is an excellent experienced dog handler. My own experience with dogs includes training Australian Shepherds for sheep herding competitions and I have qualified for national competition twice. My yardstick for rating a dog handler has a correspondingly higher bar. So along with my complement was that quick understanding that I didn’t need to know anything else and that my dog was is as safe hands as she could be in. People simply don’t reach Zach’s level of engaging with dogs without also demonstrating to the dog that the dog is in anything other than very safe hands and that doesn’t happen if it’s not actually true. So with my and the dog’s approval, Zach was hired and lived up to both mine and the dog’s expectations. No problem.
