I currently have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home, so I have plenty of time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, and potty breaks. My own dog, Bug, keeps me on a consistent routine, and I enjoy getting outside for walks and making sure dogs get the attention and exercise they need. I'm available for daytime care, walks, drop-in visits, and can often accommodate evenings and weekends with advance notice.

I have a secure, fenced dog park at my apartment with plenty of shade, so dogs have a safe place to go outside without spending too much time on hot pavement during the Texas summer. There's also plenty of space and toys to play with in my nice airconditioned apartment. :) I know every dog has different routines and needs, so I'm happy to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crating, or any other care preferences. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll treat them with the same attention and care I give my own dog, Bug.

I want to make sure I can keep them comfortable and stick to the routine they're used to. Since I live in an apartment with my 8-year-old Toy Poodle, Bug, I primarily care for small and medium-sized dogs who are comfortable around other friendly dogs. Puppies, adults, and seniors are all welcome! The most important thing to me is making sure it's a good fit for everyone so your pet feels safe, relaxed, and at home. If your dog has any favorite toys, treats, or comfort items, feel free to send them along! They will be returned to you intact, except the treats might be a little short. :)

Whether your pup loves to play fetch, cuddle on the couch, explore on walks, or just relax, I'm happy to match their routine. During the Austin summer, I prioritize safety with shorter walks in shaded areas, plenty of water breaks, and indoor play when it's too hot outside. My goal is for every dog to have fun while staying happy, comfortable, and safe.

I have known Amanda most of her life and one constant in that entire time is her love for pets. Her own pets and the pets of others. She has cared for our dogs when we leave town on numerous occasions and not once has there been an issue with anything that she could not take care of.
