Hi, I'm austin-native Amanda! I've had dogs my entire life and have been the primary caregiver for my own dog, Bug, since he was a puppy. He's now 8 years old, so I've experienced every stage of a dog's life from energetic puppy days to establishing routines and adapting to changing needs as they get older. I currently have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. Whether your dog enjoys playing, exploring on walks, or simply relaxing, I'm happy to tailor their care to what makes them happiest. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure, shaded fenced dog park at my apartment for safe outdoor time, and during the Texas summer I plan activities around the heat with shorter walks, shade, water breaks, and indoor play when needed. I know how much our pets mean to us because I feel the same way about Bug. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in caring, dependable hands.

Amanda is absolutely amazing! The first green flag was her coming to meet my baby, and my child can be veryyy hyper and Amanda was not phased at all! She communicates so well, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. She treated my baby so well, anyone who gets her to watch their baby is in LUCK! Wynter enjoyed her so much and I actually look forward to leaving again because I KNOW who I can count on to love my child just as much or maybe even a little more than I will. Always sent pictures and live updates which made me feel EVEN more comfortable while away. I also had a last minute emergency, Amanda insured me that it wasn’t a problem at all for an extension. She’s such a loving professional which is super hard to come by! 100/10 for Amanda!!!!

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home, so I have plenty of time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, and potty breaks. My own dog, Bug, keeps me on a consistent routine, and I enjoy getting outside for walks and making sure dogs get the attention and exercise they need. I'm available for daytime care, walks, drop-in visits, and can often accommodate evenings and weekends with advance notice.

I have a secure, fenced dog park at my apartment with plenty of shade, so dogs have a safe place to go outside without spending too much time on hot pavement during the Texas summer. There's also plenty of space and toys to play with in my nice airconditioned apartment. :) I know every dog has different routines and needs, so I'm happy to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, crating, or any other care preferences. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll treat them with the same attention and care I give my own dog, Bug.

Every dog is different, so I like to tailor activities to their personality and energy level. Whether your pup loves to play fetch, cuddle on the couch, explore on walks, or just relax, I'm happy to match their routine. During the Austin summer, I prioritize safety with shorter walks in shaded areas, plenty of water breaks, and indoor play when it's too hot outside. My goal is for every dog to have fun while staying happy, comfortable, and safe.

Since I live in an apartment with my 8-year-old Toy Poodle, Bug, I primarily care for small and medium-sized dogs who are comfortable around other friendly dogs. Puppies, adults, and seniors are all welcome! The most important thing to me is making sure it's a good fit for everyone so your pet feels safe, relaxed, and at home. If your dog has any favorite toys, treats, or comfort items, feel free to send them along! They will be returned to you intact, except the treats might be a little short. :)
