Pet care? In THIS economy? If you’re done paying an arm and a paw, look no further. I grew up on a farm in the Texas hill country, where I cared for goats, lambs, cattle, chickens, and of course, lots of dogs and cats! Now as an adult, I am the proud parent of two bobtail cats and a poodle. I believe that even though animals have survival instincts, it’s up to humans to give them the best quality of life possible. That means tuning in and playing attentively, providing fresh air and exercise, sticking to their routine, and showing affection. Hope to meet you and your fur-children soon.

I maintain a calm, loving space in my home. Doors always stay closed, suspicious items stay out of reach (no food on the floor), and I follow instructions like your pet is my own.

Dakota is a responsible and loving pet caretaker! He took care of my energetic and sometimes needy cat, Backpack, while I was out of town for 5 days and made sure he was not only fed, but played with and enriched in his favorite ways. Dakota has great pet knowledge and intuition and understood my kitty's needs. As a pet parent, I loved receiving pictures and videos of my kitty during Dakota's stay! I will enthusiastically turn to Dakota again the next time I need pet care and know that my little Backpack has good company and a special time while I'm away.
I've known Dakota for over 25 years, they grew up on a farm where their passion for animals started. There they had goats, cows, sheep, cats and a family dog. They raised goats to enter into competitions and looked over their family pets by walking their dog and feeding their cat. Today they have two adorable fur babies that they love more than anything in the world. They take them camping and on road trips, their love for them compares to no other. You'd be in the greatest of hands if you hire them to take care of your family member <3

Schedule
I work a full-time remote job (M-F) so this allows me to be flexible. I can work from my home, yours, or do frequent drop-ins. Fully available on weekends and most holidays.
