About: I had my boy Shep for 10 amazing years. We rescued him when we lived in Chicago in 2017. on August 8th, at 1:17AM we had to put him to sleep because of an uncurable heart condition that was giving him a massive blood build up around his heart. Sheppy taught me how to be a more patient individual and man was he stubborn! I am not ready yet to own another dog or two but I am ready to care for someone elses dog. I have had dogs since I was born but Shep was my first dog as an adult and everyday is a struggle without him candidly. This is mutually beneficial as I get to play and care for a pup and they get to give me a sense of routine. I do not disciminate against any dogs. All dogs need love and my boy shep was a perfect mutt. I miss him everyday but I am ready to love again! I work from home in tech! I am always home and always available to give walks 2-3 times a day and have a huge front and back yard fully fenced in. We have left over toys and balls from Shep so if your dog loves to play fetch, fetch we shall! I am not a believer in animals not allowed on the furniture. Dogs in this house sit where they please! We are very clean and tidy and my wife and I LOVE dogs. There was truly nothing more important to me than Shep, and my wife. Shep was cared for greatly until the very end. I held his paw as he crossed the rainbow bridge. We fed him organic food, 3 walks a day, fetch, the works! I would love to share this love I had for Shep with any other dog willing to have it.

I’m available for single or weekly 30-60 min drop in visits and walks, dog boarding and doggy daycare! ***For anyone considering my boarding or doggy daycare option, Daisy loves to greet other dogs but then mostly just wants to co-exist. She's 10 so she rarely plays and she appreciates when dogs respect her personal space. Before accepting a dog boarding/daycare request, I do generally require a meet & greet to confirm that our pups get along. But if your pup mostly keeps to themselves too, we can skip the initial meeting. Also, Daisy will scarf your pup's food so unfortunately cannot take in dogs who graze. I love walks and I’m home quite a bit, especially during the work day, except for when I have to run out to do a 30 min/hour pet visit nearby, mostly on weekdays. On days that I do have plans/appointments/errands, I never leave Daisy longer than 4-6 hours. I can occasionally arrange to be home 24/7 over the weekend. So let me know if that’s something your pup needs! I have sat for a wide range of dog breeds, from Whippets to Pomeranians to a BIG Cane Corso. About: I spent more than a decade loving a very large, very opinionated German Shepherd named Ruta through epilepsy, severe allergies, endless medication schedules, and his senior years, so “high-maintenance” pets don’t scare me. I tend to love them even harder. These days I’m supervised by Edwin, my mini Aussie rescue, who has strong opinions about other dogs, delivery trucks, and apparently several completely innocent squirrels. Living with him has made me very comfortable with boundaries, reactivity, slow introductions, and the fact that not every dog wants to be everybody’s friend. I’m also the person who genuinely wants the six-paragraph document explaining exactly how your dog likes breakfast. Give me the quirks, the routines, the medications, the weird little rules, the favorite toy, the thing they absolutely will not do unless you ask them in a very specific way. I want to know all of it. Basically: I take your pet seriously without taking myself too seriously. And yes, I will probably send you too many pictures. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, meds, couch hangs; tell me what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent. Tell me everything. What’s their routine? What makes them nervous? Are they an escape artist? A sock eater? Do they lose their mind when a skateboard goes by? How are they on leash? I’m big on respecting a pet’s boundaries and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’d much rather know about a quirk or trigger ahead of time than be surprised by it later.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had my current furry friend for 6 years. He came to us at 4 weeks old & we nursed him to health & potty trained him. I'm *pretty good at fooling him into taking meds when necessary. Always up for a good walk, ball throwing session or just a good belly rub session. I typically work Tues-Sat 11-5, so I'm available before and after. Mondays & Sundays are typically wide open. I don't always work Saturdays so that availability will vary. Please let me know everything & anything about your pet so that we can have the best experience possible. I will follow your instructions to the letter.

About: Hello Friends! I'm a reliable and experienced pet sitter with over 5 years of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I live two blocks from a dog park and right off the Lady Bird Lake trail, so if your pup loves to walk or go on a sniffari, say less. However, if your pet prefers lounging/cuddles, I’m happy to keep things calm and cozy at home; after all, it's their vacation too! I’m extremely attentive to each pet’s needs, routines, and quirks, and always treat pets like family. Whether it's active play or chill companionship, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Currently working full time in a hybrid role- 3 minute walk to my office. I am able walk home to accommodate any special pet needs, let them out, feed, etc. if I am working from my office that day; I usually go home during my lunch to see my doggo and let him out/go for a walk. I live in an apartment complex that is very dog friendly. The property is gated and provides multiple open areas for pets to hang out, go to the bathroom, and/or exercise. My home has multiple rooms if you require your pet to be crated or would like their own space. I also live close to Lady Bird trail for walks and a couple blocks away from a dog park if your pet loves to be social! My dog and I average about 3-5 miles throughout the day and can accommodate your pet's needs as well!
