“Christine has been a great sitter for my two dogs- one who can be very slow to trust sitters and she always keeps me informed with pictures and dogs are happy!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Amanda! She followed the instructions we left, kept our dog on his normal schedule (which was super important to us), and sent us pictures and regular updates. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pup was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!”

“Arantxa is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. She sends the sweetest updates consistently, communicates everything, and helps out with the unexpected if it occurs while you’re away. My A/C went out while I was out of town, and she helped by replacing the filter and letting the repair man in. My pets adore her and I’m just so relieved to be able to rely on her when I travel. She keeps a tidy space and is so sweet and considerate. I book her whenever possible!!”

“Sierra was great with my two cats Sandy and Jon Jon! She sent pictures daily and left our apartment clean. I was a little worried because Jon Jon can be scared of new people but he warmed up very quickly. Sierra is great!”

“If you’re looking to travel and leave your fur babies in good hands, Ian is the person to trust! He cared for mine like they were his own, giving me the peace of mind to truly enjoy my trip. I’ll definitely be booking him again in the future!.”

“Woody was an absolutely excellent house/dogsitter for our resident pup and foster dog. Their pure enthusiasm and affection for our pups was apparent from our first meet-and-greet, and we felt beyond comforted and relieved to know the dogs were getting so much love and attention while we were away. Woody provided updates with just the right frequency each day, took the dogs on multiple walks a day (a HUGE plus for us), and was so diligent and thoughtful about making sure our instructions/requests were fulfilled -- even checked in with us when our foster's ears were inflamed to ask if we'd like them to help administer medication, which was super thoughtful and appreciated. House was totally clean and pristine when we returned! Completely lovely person to chat with as well, and we look forward to hosting them again next time we're headed out of town!”

“Matt was so great to work with! He was incredibly nice and communicative, and I could tell our boy was in safe hands. He sent frequent pics and updates. Would definitely book again.”

“Grace was amazing as always! She’s very communicative and genuinely cares about animals. She gave me peace of mind while I was away by sending continuous updates and pictures! She took great care of my home, and I’ve already booked with her for my next outing ♥️”

“Super responsive and followed directions to a T. He’s also great about sending photos and updates throughout the stay, which puts our minds at ease. Would definitely recommend Parker.”

“Katelyn was so great with our senior dog! She was patient with her special needs and gave so many updates. Aside from taking great care of our dog, she left our apartment so clean and tidy! We would definitely have her back any time we’re out of town!”

“Samantha was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter for our fur baby Phoebe. She has such love for animals and it defiantly shows! She sends lots of pictures and detailed updates multiple times a day. I highly recommend her!”

“David & Lauren were fantastic pet sitting our dog and cat over a long weekend!! They were very communicative and great with the animals! I would definitely recommend them to family and friends!”

“Yuliia was very sweet to my kitties. She takes great pictures. The cats were very calm when I came back home. The house was very clean. She asks all the right questions!”

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for animals of all kinds — from dogs and cats to horses, birds, fish, cattle, and small mammals. I grew up surrounded by pets and livestock, and my love for animals led me to earn a degree in biology and work professionally as a wildlife biologist, where I cared for reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Whether it’s walking an energetic pup, checking in on a shy cat, or providing overnight care for multiple pets, I take the time to understand each animal’s unique needs and personality. I’m attentive, patient, and confident handling Right now, I have lots of open availability while the government is shut down, so I’m happy to help with walks, drop-ins, and house sitting throughout the day! Once things open back up, I’ll still be available for morning, evening, and weekend bookings. I’m happy to be flexible and work with your schedule whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. With a background in biology and years of hands-on animal care experience, I’m comfortable recognizing behavioral cues and responding calmly in any situation. I always keep pets on-leash when outside of secure areas, double-check gates and doors, and maintain open communication with owners through regular updates and photos. You can trust that your pets will be cared for responsibly, compassionately, and with attention to every detail.
“Jewel was an amazing caretaker for Bella. She was a clear communicator, showed great care for Bella, and left my home spotless at her departure. More importantly Bella loved her and was very happy to spend time with her.”

Chestnut pet parents share their Rover experiences
Excellent work. My 3 year beagle mix has a multitude of medical issues and she was able to administer a difficult eye ointment and keep his eyes clear during his allergy phase. She sent photos and updates to ensure you see his temperament and how he’s doing with her. She left my place spotless and left the key where I asked. I hired her again of course.

Loren was incredible with our pups. They loved her from the first meet and greet. We got daily pic updates and statuses while out of town which gave us great peace of mind. Will definitely be calling on her to take care of the crew again. Highly recommend. This was our first time leaving them overnight and it was a great experience for a worrier like myself.

Loryn was a fantastic sitter for my three Frenchies, which can be a bit of a handful! She house sat for a few days with them and everything went great, the dogs were happy and healthy when I got home. Loryn is great with communication, punctual, and very caring. I would highly recommend Loryn for sitting your fur babies.
Yuliia was absolutely amazing! We were so happy to have her watch our puppy and she did a fantastic job. She saved us when we needed to go out of town quickly for a family emergency and we appreciate it so much. She sent lovely photos and cleaned up our place while we were away. We will be inviting her back to our home soon!

Shanda was amazing! She took great care of our dog and cats while we were away. Shanda sent regular updates and took our dog for his routine walks. She left the house cleaner than she found it and took pictures of everything before she ended her stay. We would love to have Shanda watch our boys and home again.

Amanda was wonderful! Super punctual, great communicator, reliable, and caring. Really put our minds at ease and could tell she took great care of her, and treated her like her own. Our pup was happy and relaxed when we got back. We’ll definitely be reaching out again!

Briana was amazing! We were so nervous to leave our dogs, but we felt at ease the whole time. Briana sent us pictures every day of our babies and made sure we knew they were taken care of. Our dogs were so calm and happy when we returned, like we never left, and our house was in great shape as well. We hope to book Briana again in the future and would recommend to anyone!
