About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I'm an avid equestrian, and I grew up caring for my own cats and dogs. I get so much joy from being around animals, and I'd love to bring that passion to caring for your pets! I have experience administering pills and topical medications as well as basic first aid training. I am a new graduate student, so flexibility is key! Friday through Monday are days that I can fully devote to pet care, whereas Tuesday through Thursday I will be focusing on classwork. I am currently training for the Austin marathon, so if your dog likes to run, I'm happy to bring them along for whatever distance you're comfortable with! Inside, I have plenty of space & dog beds for your pup to relax. I also have great windows for your pup to get some prime time squirrel & people watching throughout the day. I have an 11 year old German Shepherd, Curry. She is a gentle old lady & enjoys the company of other dogs. She has no history of aggression with other dogs of any size. Happy to have our pups be introduced prior to their stay if there are any hesitancies. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly home with a secure yard for supervised outdoor time, potty breaks, and play. I closely follow owners’ instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, and routines so dogs feel at ease and cared for. I keep a clean home, am mindful of doors and gates, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. I have multiple dog beds & allow dogs to sleep wherever they choose, though I have an extra guest bedroom available should your dog require to sleep in a separate space in a crate. I work from home, but should I need to run a few errands or get a run in, please let me know what your dogs home alone behavior is & any special instructions to make them feel comfortable.

About: I've had and taken care of many kinds of dogs and cats since childhood, from puppies and kittens to seniors. Friends and family have relied on me for years to pet sit for them for short and long periods of time, and I also have experience fostering dogs and puppies. I am currently between jobs, so will have plenty of time to play with your pets. I am also available for boarding if our timing aligns. I have a mostly fenced in yard at my house (3 sides enclosed / just open at the car port), so can play in the yard leashed and go on walks from here. I can easily crate your dog at my house or am able to block off areas of my house easily as well.
