Hi! My name is Kody and I'm interested in making your daily routines easier! I am a Central Oklahoma native living in Austin and an animal lover. I grew up with pets all of my life (mostly cats and dogs but also ferrets, hamsters, and a rabbit) and I hope my expertise is helpful when taking care of your fur baby. I hope we can connect to make sure I can meet your companion's needs. I am an animal lover through and through and would love to have your furry best friend go on walks or drop in to check on them. Briefly, about me, other than animals, I enjoy music, hiking, and spending time with family. If you're interested, please contact me so we can set up a time to meet to see what schedule works best for you and your furry friend. I make sure to follow the pet parent's instructions to a "T". My goal is to make sure that they have a fun, relaxed and most importantly, safe experience while in my care. I want them to feel at home as much as possible while they are away from you!

I hate leaving negative reviews, but in this case I believe one is warranted. Although Kody has received many glowing reviews, my experience was very different. I hired Kody to care for my dogs while I was overseas for 10 days. We agreed that he would stay at the house as much as possible, sleep there overnight, and never leave my dog crated for more than four hours. The first warning sign came on the morning of my departure. Kody arrived before I left and was supposed to walk the dogs for an hour. I was delayed leaving the house for 20 minutes or so. Kody returned after walking them for only about 20 minutes. He claimed that my 12-year-old dog seemed tired, but I walk this dog 4-5 miles every day without difficulty. It appeared that Kody expected me to be gone and believed he could cut the walk short without my knowing. More seriously, I later discovered that Kody never slept or ate at the house. He left my dog crated overnight for so long that the dog urinated in his crate, something he never normally does. In effect, Kody provided dog-walking services while charging me for in-home dog sitting. He did not provide the care we had agreed upon, and I would not hire him again.
Kody is great. He is very calm and clearly has lots of experience with dogs. His communication with me has been clear and helpful, and he always responds quickly. He is able to provide strong leadership for my two dogs.
Attentive, thorough, really took the time to understand our dog and his needs. It was our first time using Rover, and I felt reassured the whole time. Thanks Kody!

Schedule
I currently do Rover full-time, so I can be sure to spend as much time with your furry companions as much as possible! I get so much joy out of spending time with animals, so I'm more than happy to hang out with them!
