About: Hi there! I am Kira and am excited to meet your pets!! I grew up with dogs and other small animals (hamsters, guinea pigs, rats). I have always had a soft spot for animals and they bring me so much joy. I have years of experience sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, as well as volunteering at rescues and pet stores. I am comfortable with all sizes, ages, and breeds. I relocated to Austin in 2022 and am unable to have a pet where I currently live. I miss having pets and would LOVE to love on yours!! I am a strong believer that pets are family and will care for yours as such!! I currently work remote MWF and in office T & TH. My in-office days are very flexible so I have availability in the mornings and afternoons. It is important for me to have details on your pet's personality and normal daily routine. I know it can be stressful for pets to be left at home, so understanding their personality and habits will help me provide the best care possible. Please let me know ahead of time of any medical conditions, restrictions, or special needs.

Each day, Melissa sent lots of photos, cleaned food/water bowls, put out fresh food and water, and gave our kitty lots of snuggles. She is one of those people who makes you feel instantly comfortable when you meet them. We knew we were leaving our fur baby in good hands with her, and felt very comfortable having her visit our house. We already have Melissa booked for our next trip! So glad we found her!”
