We currently both work from home with very flexible schedules. This means we can ensure your pet gets all of the attention and heaps of walks during the day. Ideally, we want to be able to take your pup with us wherever we go - including park days with friends, lounging by the lake, or hanging at our local brewery. We plan our days around the pups we take care of without sacrificing fun with friends. We do however have a couple evening commitments during the week, so we do require that your pet is able to be left alone for around 2 hours if we have them for longer boardings - for shorter bookings we can move some things around with notice!

We ensure your pet is always leashed unless we are specifically in a fenced secure dog park or yard. When we're home, we'll ensure that our space is secure and that there is nothing your pet will be able to access that is dangerous or harmful. Even if you're comfortable with your pup being off leash on a walk, we don't have the same kind of confidence around their recall - so we'll never take pets off-leash.

Do they take time to get used to new places? Are they comfortable on car rides? We want to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable!

We live next to several parks and love being outdoors! If you have a high energy dog, we would love a running buddy or a hiking partner. Any outdoor exercising we do early or late enough in the day where the temperatures are still safe for dogs. We do recognize this Austin weather gets HOT! We'll make sure that if we're out and about we have lots of opportunity for shade, breaks in the A/C, and water with us always. We always aim to go out to spots that allow dogs so we can take them with us wherever we go - but also, let us know if your pup is more of a homebody and we can plan for a lazier stay.

Your dog's home away from home! We absolutely love dogs and though we don't have the ability to get one of our own as of now... we would love to take care of yours when you need it! We both work from home so we'll be able to provide plenty of care and attention to your pup. We go on daily walks and would love to bring an extra friend along. We're currently staying in a house in East Austin with lots of space for your pet to roam. We're available throughout the day to make sure your pet gets tons of time outside and we have a fully fenced back yard that your dog can run around in during the day as well. Please let us know if you're doing any training with your pup so we can ensure we follow the same practices here! If you're alright with it, we have training treats here we can use to ensure consistency with what they're expected to do in their own home. We currently volunteer at Austin Animal Center and have experience with dogs of all temperaments and personalities. We love Pitties and Rottweilers but unfortunately we do have breed restrictions associated with our lease and are unfortunately unable to host them at this time. Rover also doesn't allow us to be as granular as we'd like when it comes to which sized dogs we can care for in our home - though we are unable to care for dogs over ~60lbs. We currently board only one dog at a time for overnights, though we may host another dog during the day for doggie day care as well. Due to this we will only ever consider dogs that are friendly with other dogs! We always ensure we have the ability to separate dogs during the day if necessary. We have a very chill cat in our home named Juicebox. If you aren't sure if your dog is friendly with cats and are up to trying to socialize them - we can absolutely give it a try in a safe and contained environment! If you know your dog is not friendly with cats, then we do need to prioritize our cat's wellbeing and will not be able to accept a booking. We only open up our calendar about 2 months in advance. If you want to book further out, please let us know and we can connect with you when we open those dates!

Frankie always comes home so happy when he stays with Cassandra & Jason! They take such great care of him and always a lot of updates and photos. You can really tell they care for him. Will definitely be booking with them in the future.
