“Kara was the absolute best! My dogs loved her energy and came back from their walk tired and happy. Kara took the cutest video for me as well. She was timely and a breeze to communicate with. Thank you Kara :)”

“Mariia is great at taking care of my girl, lots of pictures and videos, great communication, took the time to make sure she was clean after a rainy walk, my dog loved her immediately. Without a doubt I’ll keep requesting her help, 100% recommend”

About: I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I can provide walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, medication if needed, and plenty of photo updates while you’re away. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend most of the day with your pet. I can provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of companionship. I’ll do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at home. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment with a secure balcony and an on-site dog park. Since I work remotely, I’ll be home for most of the day to provide companionship, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I don’t have any pets, allowing me to give your pet my full attention. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely and keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay.
“Kody was great. Came for a meet and greet and seemed genuinely interested in what Theo’s needs were. Arrived for Theo’s walk on time and sent a few photos and a nice update. Was kind and considerate with all of our instructions as we have a lot of concerns due to Theo’s size and medical history.”

About: I spent more than a decade loving a very large, very opinionated German Shepherd named Ruta through epilepsy, severe allergies, endless medication schedules, and his senior years, so “high-maintenance” pets don’t scare me. I tend to love them even harder. These days I’m supervised by Edwin, my mini Aussie rescue, who has strong opinions about other dogs, delivery trucks, and apparently several completely innocent squirrels. Living with him has made me very comfortable with boundaries, reactivity, slow introductions, and the fact that not every dog wants to be everybody’s friend. I’m also the person who genuinely wants the six-paragraph document explaining exactly how your dog likes breakfast. Give me the quirks, the routines, the medications, the weird little rules, the favorite toy, the thing they absolutely will not do unless you ask them in a very specific way. I want to know all of it. Basically: I take your pet seriously without taking myself too seriously. And yes, I will probably send you too many pictures. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, meds, couch hangs; tell me what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent. Tell me everything. What’s their routine? What makes them nervous? Are they an escape artist? A sock eater? Do they lose their mind when a skateboard goes by? How are they on leash? I’m big on respecting a pet’s boundaries and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’d much rather know about a quirk or trigger ahead of time than be surprised by it later.
About: I am an animal lover and have had dogs and cats my whole life. I work full time from my home and would love to care for your pet! I currently work at home and will hang out with your dog all day! I have 3 breaks, 2 15 minutes (1130 am and 3:15pm) and one 30 minute lunch break at 1pm. I will take out the dog in the morning as well before I start work at 9am. After that, they can hang with me in my room while I work and I will make sure to give them lots of pets!!! I have no other pets and I don't mind the dog on my furniture. I just want them to be comfortable with the A/C on and a full water bowl so they can feel at home!
“Brandy is amazing! I didn’t update my address on Rover and it sent her to my old spot and she still drove to my current address and walked him for me. I would 10/10 recommend her and will continue to use her services when needed. Thank you, Brandy, for taking such good care of my baby. 🥰”

“Yihung is incredible with our pup Winnie. He took the time to visit her and take her around the block to make sure everything went smoothly. He shared plenty of photos along the way. No doubt, we’ll be regulars of Yihung moving forward!!”

“Olivia is great she is very polite, professional and attentive with my pet's needs and has great communication skills I can be at work and know my pet is in good hands. I would highly recommend her services!”

“April was exceptional. It was a last minute booking and she was so beyond accommodating. We will be asking April back whenever she’s available! Love, Corbin and Little Bear”

“Leigh is a great communicator! You can tell she's very conscientious about her responsibility of caring for your dog. I trust she will let me know of any concerns that should arise during her time with my dog.”

“Juan was excellent with our dog, Tina. Communication was great throughout the entire experience. He kept us updated and sent pictures, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear that Tina was well cared for and comfortable with him. We truly appreciated his reliability and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Juan to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

About: I LOVE a good walk. In the later years of my dog, I was very attentive of joint health and trying to keep her comfortable. Their comfort is my joy. I treat animals how I would like to be treated. Much love and care. Let me know if you need anything. I work full time at a grocery store. Unfortunately,I had to say goodbye to my Abby a few months ago. Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you. I have a full time job with strange hours. I do not have a set schedule but I always get my schedule for the next week by Wednesday. Making plans a week in advance works best for me but I'll let you know if there's time the week of also! I will abide by any treat rules and keep the space clean to come back to! Much love and care to anything I do (:
About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Allandale
I felt so great about leaving my dog Sancho in Stephanie’s care for a week long trip. My dog immediately took a liking to her at the meet and greet. She went above and beyond with long walks in the heat and hand feeding my dog who has bad eating habits while I’m away. My dog also has special walking needs and she handled his reactivity amazingly!! I will definitely contact her again the next time I need to leave town. I’m so happy I found her rover page!!

Sofia has been the best addition to my pup’s life! My husband I both just got new jobs and need to be in office more than we have before and just knowing I have someone I trust to come into my home and play, walk and love on my dog while I’m away gives such peace of mind. Her report cards are great at the end of the each walk/playtime!

Cicely has been absolutely wonderful! She is always communicative, flexible with scheduling, and keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind. The best part is that my dog absolutely loves her and is always excited to see her. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she looks after, and I know my pup is in great hands every time. I highly recommend Cicely to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and easy to work with!

Jenna has been walking our dogs for a few months and she is wonderful. One dog is a Shepherd mix and has some mobility issues and she is wonderful with him. We can tell that she really cares about the pets that she works with and or dogs are always so happy to see her. Jenna is punctual and communicative and I would highly recommend her.

I can’t recommend Roxy enough! She has truly been a lifesaver whenever I end up working late and need someone I can trust to care for my pets. Knowing that my puppy, Iris, is in such loving hands gives me complete peace of mind. Roxy is incredibly thoughtful, reliable, and always goes above and beyond. One of my favorite things is how excited she gets every time she sees Iris—it’s obvious she genuinely loves the animals she cares for, and they absolutely adore her in return. Iris is always so excited to greet her, and my cat loves her too, which speaks volumes. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, caring, and treats your pets like they’re her own, Roxy is the one. I’m so grateful to have found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I needed someone last minute to walk my dog when I had to go out of town for work and Miranda went above and beyond! She did a same day meet and greet and then stayed extra time with my dog because there was a storm and he was anxious. Her communication was great and she sent several updates and pictures. I appreciated her level of care and would definitely book again with her in the future.

Caroline is so great with our dog! I love how patient Caroline is with our dog's quirks and the excitement I see from my dog when she has Caroline take care of her. Caroline is the best with keeping me posted during her visits and I appreciate the after visit summaries she provides.
