“Gianna is the best! My dog loved her immediately and really enjoyed her lollygagging sniff and explore time after it’s been so rainy. So glad I booked her and will def call on her again!”

“She accepted my last minute request, so thankful! Also it was so comforting to know she looked at Fern’s profile closely and was very respectful. She took a lot of pics to show how much fun they had!”

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience paired with genuine love and patience for every dog I care for. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, and raised and trained my first puppy, a spirited miniature dachshund, when I was 13. Since then, I’ve been a go-to sitter in my community and church, caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. About 10 years ago, I rescued and fully trained my own dog. He was incredibly well-behaved, could be trusted off-leash, and had a calm, gentle nature that helped other dogs feel safe and comfortable, whether around new people, pets, or environments. That experience gave me strong instincts when it comes to training, reading behavior, and helping dogs adjust. Recently, I lost him to cancer, which has been incredibly hard. But caring for other people’s pets has brought me a lot of comfort and joy, and I treat every dog I watch with the same love and attention I gave my own. With me, your pet will be in a safe, calm, and loving environment, with someone who truly understands dogs at every stage of life, from energetic puppies to senior companions. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I work Monday through Thursday and live just 5 minutes from home. For boarding, this allows me to stop by easily for potty breaks and check-ins throughout the day. For house sitting, my schedule may vary slightly depending on your location, but I’m always available for walks and care in the morning, at lunch, and in the evening. Because I have three-day weekends every week, I’m able to offer even more time, attention, and flexibility—whether your dog loves staying active with walks and playtime or prefers a slower, more relaxed pace with plenty of cuddles. In my home, pets have a safe, calm environment with plenty of love, toys, and treats (with your approval, of course!). While I don’t have a fenced yard, I have lots of green space right outside my front and back doors for easy potty breaks and fresh air. Walks, playtime, and supervision are always a priority. If your dog enjoys being social, I’m happy to introduce them to friendly neighborhood dogs or take them to a local dog park—but only if that’s something you’re comfortable with. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to stick closely to their normal routine to keep them happy and stress-free. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions you provide. I treat your home with respect and your pet like family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
“Brandy is amazing! I didn’t update my address on Rover and it sent her to my old spot and she still drove to my current address and walked him for me. I would 10/10 recommend her and will continue to use her services when needed. Thank you, Brandy, for taking such good care of my baby. 🥰”

“Francis is wonderful! He was agreeable to a meet-and-greet prior to starting services, took a genuine interest in finding out Beckett’s specific needs, and has always been punctual. I’ve been very impressed by his communication, ability to manage Beckett (who has a tendency to pull), and his patience and willingness to work on improving Beckett’s walking. Beckett can take a while to warm up to people, but he warmed up to Francis quickly and has been loving the walks! I’d highly recommend Francis to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, experienced dog walker!”

“We loved Mariia taking care of our pets for the week. She fed our cat and walked the dog twice a day- was always on time, clearly communicated, and was always friendly and professional. I would trust her in my home anytime.”

About: I have been petsitting for puppies and kittens for as long as I can remember. I particularly love senior animals and have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I'm currently a full-time virtual student, so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. In addition to the joy I find working with animals, I am also trying to save up money for a study abroad I am attending in Spain this fall. My family's dogs are relatively low-maintenance and enjoy long walks in the neighborhood (as long as it's not too hot) and a big bowl of ice water to cool down. As for the cats, I enjoy spending time with them on the couch while I knit and playing with them via laser pointer.
“Leigh is a great communicator! You can tell she's very conscientious about her responsibility of caring for your dog. I trust she will let me know of any concerns that should arise during her time with my dog.”

“Yihung is incredible with our pup Winnie. He took the time to visit her and take her around the block to make sure everything went smoothly. He shared plenty of photos along the way. No doubt, we’ll be regulars of Yihung moving forward!!”

About: Growing up in a household with dogs, chickens, hermit crabs, tortoises, and fish, I've always loved and cared for animals. I have substantial pet-sitting and house-sitting experience, with many neighbors entrusting me to love and care for their animals, yards, plants, and houses. I also have hundreds of hours of volunteer experience, many of which I've spent dog-walking, facilitating adoptions, training, and working in the pet ICU of Austin Animal Center. These opportunities have proven my consistent responsibility and cultivated expertise in animal training, walking, and communication I have a very flexible schedule and am available almost every weekday and weekend morning, afternoon, and evening. My flexibility allows me to truly deliver the attention and care your pet and house deserves. In a clients home, I intentionally establish a bond with the pet, and check-in with the house multiple times a day, making sure to go above and beyond to fulfill a pets feeding, exercise, cleaning, medical, and emotional needs.

About: I am a 3 decades old Austinite who just returned from 3 years in Costa Rica. As a Senior Tech Recruiter, I have worked for many of the larger tech companies in town but I love filling in my spare time with caring for dogs and house sitting. I have a deep love for all dogs, and we have plenty of experience with big dogs like labs and weimereiners, as well as vizslas, shi'tzus, boxers and more! Pets bring us so much love, and I would love to help with housesitting from July 17th thru Aug. 30th! I am an empath and bring loads of love to each pet I help. I am great at training puppies, caring for seniors, and administering medication. I am available 7 days a week to help you, and right now I am taking housesitting requests from July 17th through Aug. 30th. Currently, I have an open schedule to take as many weeklong requests as possible during this time. I prefer to care for the pets in the client's home... since this is where the animal is most comfortable. I am great at taking dogs on walks in their neighborhood, and like to engage all of their senses with walks, training tricks, and learning new behavior. I am great at crate training, puppy training, and senior care. I make sure that safety and comfort are always at the highest level with each pet I serve.
“Was very patient with me and my dog. I always get nervous leaving him with someone new but she was amazing and my puppy loved her I would definitely recommend her for anyone”

“Clair has been a great dog walker for us! She’s communicative, professional, positive, and most importantly, our dog Gus loves her. We’re excited to have Clair help us on a weekly basis get Gus all the exercise he needs and for her to dog and house sit when we’re away”

North Shoal Creek dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ashlyn did an amazing job walking my dogs! She sent the cutest photos of my two pups and made sure their water was always topped off. She gave them plenty of love, attention, and treats during every visit. It gave me great peace of mind knowing they were so well cared for. I will definitely be booking with her again! 🐾💕

I needed someone last minute to walk my dog when I had to go out of town for work and Miranda went above and beyond! She did a same day meet and greet and then stayed extra time with my dog because there was a storm and he was anxious. Her communication was great and she sent several updates and pictures. I appreciated her level of care and would definitely book again with her in the future.

We’ve had such a great experience with Roxy as our dog walker. She is always reliable caring and clearly loves what she does. We especially appreciate the thoughtful updates and the great pictures she sends after each walk. It is so nice to see our pup happy and well taken care of while we are away. Even our cat who usually does not like anyone absolutely adores her which says a lot. Roxy has truly earned our trust and we feel completely at ease knowing our pets are in her care. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and genuinely kind with animals.
