💚 SUMMER Hours: A note on scheduling! I am a teacher and out for the summer until August 3rd, meaning I am able to provide care during typical work hours for this period of time! Happy to accommodate day walks, house sitting for pets who need more attentive care, or any other needs!

I always love having a run-down of the home by the owner, and am open to any other housesitting needs while I am there, such as mail, watering plants, or picking up pet food! Leaving places clean and tidy is my M.O.! I live in a non-smoking apartment with my 2 cats, Marmalade and Toast who are completely fine when I do housesittings (it’s more of their apartment, anyways!)

I want to know everything your pet needs to live their best life! I don't mind getting a list of requirements or having to administer medication! No list of requirements, schedules, etc is too much!
A typical day
I love to give animals what they need both in terms of mental and physical health needs, whether that means giving your dog a stimulating lick mat of safe treats, or taking them on as many walks (laid back or rigorous) as they need! Walks can be in your neighborhood, or a variety of my favorite parks in Austin that give them a stimulating environment!

Pet care experience
I've loved all animals since I was young, and have taken care of all kinds from kittens to leopard geckos. I have had friends and family come to me knowing I am more than happy to watch or keep their fur babies. Your dog has a special diet? No problem! Specific walking routine? You got it. I would love to treat your pet just as you would! NOTE: Rover says only 70% of clients have received photo updates, however all due baby parents receive photos! Some have chosen to do so via personal cell numbers! 💕🐾 I also have a car in case your pet needs any supplies picked up, and transportation is reliable for me 100%!

Ashlyn housesat for me for two weeks and took great care of my cat. She followed my every request and went above and beyond in ensuring my cat remained happy and provided for, as well as provided plenty of pictures and updates so I could stay informed while I was away. I would highly recommend her services and will definitely be requesting her again next time I need a pet sitter!

Ashlyn has cared for our dogs (all FIVE of them!) about six times now — both for drop-ins and house sitting — and every single time she goes above and beyond! Taking care of five (very energetic 😅) pups is no small task, but she's always patient, loving, and completely up for the challenge. She takes such great care of our pups and treats them like her own. Most recently one of our pups had an injured paw and needed rest and medication. If we didn’t have Ashlyn we would have considered cancelling our trip. But we knew Ashlyn would make sure she was cared for and healing well and she sure did. She kept us updated the whole time, which gave us such peace of mind. Even though we’ve only asked her to care for the dogs, she always checks in on our cats, too — and they adore her! On top of that, we always come home to a spotless house that's somehow even cleaner than when we left it. Ashlyn is reliable, thoughtful, and truly one of a kind. We're so thankful to have found her — our pets (and we!) absolutely love her!
