I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and honestly can’t imagine life without them! I’ve cared for larger breeds like Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and Labs throughout my life, and I also have experience with small and medium-sized dogs through volunteer work with PAW Rescue in Maryland. Currently, we have a 7-year-old lab-pit mix who I’ve raised since she was a puppy. We also previously cared for our sweet senior girl (14 y/o) who recently passed after a long battle with cancer. During that time, I became experienced in post-surgical wound care and comfortable administering chemo medication and daily meds. Though I’ve never had cats of my own, I absolutely love caring for them. I’ve looked after cats while their owners were away, and I’ve also participated in Austin Humane Society’s TNR program — trapping my local community cats and helping with recovery care post-surgery. Before caring for your pet, I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet to ensure safety and that we’re all a good fit. My goal is to make sure you feel confident and your pets feel safe and loved. I’ll care for them like they’re my own.

I believe in moving at each pet's pace to earn their trust, never pushing them to do anything that makes them uncomfortable. With a skittish, anxious dog of my own, I understand the importance of patience and gentleness. I once spent over an hour reassuring a nervous pup during a meet-and-greet before we became the best of friends! For walks, I prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. On hot days, I keep walks on grass or in shaded areas as much as possible. I also ask that walks be scheduled in the mornings (before 10 am) or kept short during the hot summer hours for your pup's safety. If the weather is too hot, I’ll keep the pups engaged with indoor playtime to tire them out safely.

We’ve had such a great experience with Roxy as our dog walker. She is always reliable caring and clearly loves what she does. We especially appreciate the thoughtful updates and the great pictures she sends after each walk. It is so nice to see our pup happy and well taken care of while we are away. Even our cat who usually does not like anyone absolutely adores her which says a lot. Roxy has truly earned our trust and we feel completely at ease knowing our pets are in her care. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and genuinely kind with animals.

Roxy has been a great dog walker for us. She’s always reliable and easy to communicate with, and I feel comfortable knowing my puppy is in good hands. My puppy loves her and gets excited every time she comes by. After their walks, she comes back happy and tired with all that extra energy out, which makes a big difference. Really appreciate how consistent and caring Roxy is. Would definitely recommend.
Best sitter EVER. Seriously. I'm a very nervous traveler but Roxy makes sure to send frequent updates and photos so my mind is at ease that all is well at home, and I can enjoy my trip. She also takes excellent care of everything- goes above and beyond! Tasha, Dubby and I absolutely love her!!!
We first started using Roxy as a sitter for our cat when in December of 2022. Before using Roxy, when we would return home from trips, Barnie was very needy and desperate for attention which was so sad to see. Since using Roxy, when we return home, he’s happy to see us and you can tell he missed us, but he’s so much calmer and it’s clear he’s getting the love and attention he needs even when we are away! It makes it so much easier knowing that she will be here for him when we’re gone, I worry so much less than I have with other sitters. We won’t use anyone other than her from here on out! Could NOT recommend more.

Schedule
Rover is my main focus, so I’m available for pet care most of the time. The only exception is when I need a bit of flexibility to check in on my own dog while my husband is away at work. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your needs!
