About: I've been around dogs, cats, and farm animals my whole life, as well as pet and house sitting for over 20 years. I'm detail oriented and will happily read and follow all instructions for the care and keeping of your pets. I'm experienced with administering medication including oral pills and injections (owned a diabetic lab who received daily insulin injections, as well as weekly allergy shots for our min pin) Our (me and husband's) home is on the smaller side ( <1,000 sq/ft) and though the backyard is fenced, it's mostly a concrete pad. Happy to accommodate overnight visits for small or medium dogs in my home, but prefer to come to yours for larger and more energetic pups (especially if accustomed to playing in a backyard). We live by a walking trail so easy to do walks in grassy areas and off the sizzling summer sidewalks. My passion is health coaching and my joy is pet sitting. Flexible and short work days mean I have extra time to walk, cuddle, and play tug of war with your furbaby. With advanced notice can plan my schedule to limit time away from pets if needed. Currently we have no pets living in our home. We are very pet friendly and animals are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. We have a small fenced in backyard, but primarily provide outdoor time through walks along the greenbelt that backs up to our home.

About: Animals have been at the heart of my life’s journey since I was a child. My passion for their well-being began in high school when I first stepped into the veterinary field by working as a kennel tech. I pursued this love further, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science to deepen my knowledge and skills. Currently, I’m working at a veterinary rehabilitation facility, where I’m constantly learning and caring for animals with unique needs. My life revolves around animals, so I have had the opportunity to work with so many different types of animals and all kinds of personalities. I understand the trust you place in a caregiver, and I’m committed to ensuring your furry friends receive the attention, love, and expertise they deserve. When your furry companions are in my care, they're not just pets; they're cherished members of the family, and I pride myself on treating them as such! I’m dedicated to my work at the veterinary rehabilitation facility on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but I’ve carved out time to care for your pets. I’m available before, during my hour lunch break, and after work on those three days. On the other four days of the week, my schedule is wide open to provide your pets with exceptional care at your convenience. Your peace of mind is my top priority. I not only provide the best care for your beloved pets, but I also treat your home with the utmost respect. I'm committed to leaving your home just as I found it, ensuring it's secure and locked when I leave. Your pets will have my full attention, whether we're enjoying time in your backyard, exploring the neighborhood on walks, or simply cuddling indoors. For House Sitting: Since I have three dogs of my own I am not able stay in your home overnight but will do 3-4 visits throughout the day/night. I base my visits off your pets normal routine, and I typically stay at the home for about 2 hours each time. These visits will include anything from potty breaks to feedings to checking the mail to even putting the garbage can at the curb. I will also include one 30 minute walk per day. Additional fees if you are outside my 10 mile radius. For Drop-In visits: Timing spent at your home will depend on what you choose. Visits can include a potty break, feeding, or a short playtime. Additional fees if you are outside my 10 mile radius. For Walks: Timing will depend on what you choose. Walks can be a predetermined path around the neighborhood or we can mix it up each time. Additional fees if you are outside my 10 mile radius.
