“If awesome was a person it would be misti the way she cared for my dog over the weekend was amazing and she has to pup herself now my dog is having separation anxiety from Sadie. I will definitely be back”

“Kimberly was great with our puppy! It was our first time using a rover and we had zero concerns or issues going into the process with her. Luna was happy and healthy when we picked her up and she played greatly with Kimberly and her own dog. I certainly recommend Kimberly to anyone who is searching for a rover and believe she is more than capable to offering a healthy, fun, and appropriate environment to any dog. Luna and us were very pleased with this choice, thanks a ton Kimberly!”

“Amazing care takers. I was out of town for a week and they always kept me informed and up to date on Wally. They even gave me some tips and ideas for helping with his tendencies. Highly recommend!”

“Left my dachshund in Michelle’s care. She was responsive, provided regular updates and photos, and returned him well behaved and delightfully happy. 10/10 she treated him like a prince.”

“I’ve put off writing this review selfishly bc Chris has been such an amazing sitter for my dog, Lola, that I don’t want others to snatch him up! But in all seriousness, we had Chris watch Lola repeatedly and he goes above and beyond caring for our dog. He sends multiple updates throughout the day, and takes Lola on multiple walks a day (trail walks, dog parks, etc). Highly recommend and you won’t be disappointed!!!!”

“Ashley was a great sitter for Theo! She sent me photo updates and was very easy to reach for any communication. Would definitely use her again and recommend her!”
“Casandra is a supremely kind human! She took such good care of our Murray and made sure to update us everyday! Highly, highly recommend her if you are looking for someone that truly has a kind, animal-loving soul!!”

“Joel is so great! He was very communicative and helpful in easing my anxieties on leaving my fur baby with a sitter. I had some concerns since she’s a bit of a handful at times but he handled her with ease and did a wonderful job at it. We also had some scheduling issues but he worked with us and was extremely helpful. He provided many photos and kept me updated on how she was doing. 10/10 I will be booking with Joel again! 😄”

“Brendan took great care of our pup, was easy and quick with communication, sent pics and updates, and was flexible with some last minute schedule changes. I would send our pup back anytime!”

I am really grateful for his help! 🙏🏼”

“Jules took great care of Maisie and sent lots of pictures/videos! She was very attentive with her medications and allergies. We did notice that Maisie and her bedding came back strongly smelling of something like cigarettes. Overall it was clear that Jules really loves dogs and is very experienced with having them in her home!”

“I am so thankful we found Aimee! She truly goes above and beyond and treats Lua like her own. Aimee is very conscientious and understands dog behavior and needs. I really appreciate how she is always thinking about what’s best for my dog when in her care. She consistently sends updates, videos, and pictures and I could tell Lua was having a great time. It made me feel so relaxed and comfortable even though I was initially very anxious to leave Lua for so many days. If you feel the same leaving your baby, trust Aimee! I’ve already booked Aimee for another 10 day vacation and will continue to book with her any time after that without hesitation.”

About: I have owned cats my entire life and my favorite animal are cats! I did a short internship at a local shelter where I specifically studied cat behavior and how to socialize with spicy cats to help them have a higher chance of adoption.

“Rheanne went above and beyond to make sure my two cats were happy and comfortable while I was away! She did so much, it’s impossible to cover it all in this review. Highly recommended, thank you Rheanne!”

“Eileen was such a source of comfort and care to my furrbabies! She went above and beyond in terms of play and cuddle time with them and it’s obvious from her (plentiful) check-in photos that they adored her and valued her presence. Perfect for high energy dogs - North Shoal Creek
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: Hello! My name is JJ and I'm a trail runner that decided to combine the two things I love the most: exercise and animals. I have been providing pet care for dogs, cats and other household pets full-time for over 8 years in Austin now. I am currently providing pet care full-time during the week and often have weekend availability. As a pet parent and a user of Rover pet sitters myself, I know how important good communication and reliability is when you are away from your pet family. I prioritize responding promptly to all booking requests and communication throughout the duration of booked appointments. This includes happily answering questions, sending updates and pet pictures of each visit. For me, communication, transparency and trust are key to having a worry-free workday or trip away! PET CARE: *NEW* Now offering boarding and doggie daycare. My partner and I purchased a house in North Shoal Creek and can now host up to 4 dogs. My partner, Josh Cross, is a software developer and works from home, so visiting pets will always have a human companion while I am away on walks and check-ins. I offer check-ins for dogs, cats and other household pets, to give them food, water, bathroom breaks, clean litter boxes, etc. If there is ever a package or mail by the door, I always bring it inside, as well. WALKS: If your dog(s) just need a potty break and some exercise, I’m more than happy to go for 30-60 minute walks. I typically use my own waist leash, but I can use your leash, if preferred, and I have a tandem leash attachment to take two dogs for an outing together, if needed. RUNS: For dogs that like to run, I can jog at your dogs pace for 30-60 minutes. Slow or fast, with water breaks, walk breaks, and potty breaks. On hot days, I prioritize finding the shadiest routes in the area and run in the grass when possible. For running dogs, I prefer them to wear a body harness or gentle leader, if available. *I offer a limited number of dog runs per day depending on daily volume.* My love for animals comes from growing up with a family that spoiled inside pets of many species and sizes. I cherished my own chihuahua, Zeus, of 14 years. Nowadays, I share a big, sweet super-mutt named Ozzie with my partner, Josh. I currently have weekday availability during traditional work hours, but I also have some evenings and weekends available. I don’t prefer to book recurring weekly appointments on the weekends. I regularly keep my Rover calendar updated and list the dates I’m out of town in my profile, in case I don’t have reception on vacation, usually a camping trip. I prefer to use a waist leash, which is safer and more secure than holding a leash in my hand. Please supply waste bags and any treats you would like me to give to your pet.
About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 2 year old who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.
“Timmy had a great time with Valerie. She took excellent care of him and while he was there, she sent pictures of all the fun he was having at her home. He’s happily exhausted now and really enjoyed his stay. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup. ♥️”

“Ashley does an incredible job with my pup, Kona. I was a bit nervous about leaving her with someone else, but Ashley made me feel really comfortable and gave me a lot of updates! She also has been incredibly flexible with my crazy schedule and accommodating with Kona's preference to only be with smaller dogs. Thanks Ashley!”

“Becca was super accommodating for my literal last minute request! She took really good care of my dog, communicated really well, shared pictures and updates. I will 100% be coming back next time I’m in town!”

“I had a wonderful experience. I showed up completely forgetting my pup’s belongings and didn’t get a chance to drive home to grab his stuff. They were very accommodating and helped me feel at ease with text updates and photos. When I picked up my pup his tail was wagging and I could tell he had a good time. Will definitely use their services again! Thanks again for everything !”

“Casandra took great care of Niko during my day trip out of Austin. When I picked up Niko, he was happy and tired! Casandra made sure Niko got along with her dog Cory by having a meet-and-greet beforehand. She also updated me with a lot of photos from the day. Would definitely drop Niko off with her and Cory again! Thanks, Casandra.”

“Jeff provided excellent daycare for my Basenji, Pika. He was responsive to texts and has a friendly, positive personality. Pika had a great experience, which assured me to do boarding in the future. Thank you for taking good care of Pika!”

“I'm thrilled to have found Paul and Karina for my puppy's first dog-sitting experience. Communication was clear and prompt, with Paul even explaining how the Rover platform works. We arranged meets and greets quickly, where they showed us their place and met each other. Paul even offered to extend my dog's stay to make full use of the day care time. During my dog's stay, they provided regular updates and photos, showing how happy he was. Paul also suggested a new training area for my pup, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, I'm very pleased with Paul and Karina and would love to use their services again in the future.”

“trevor provided an excellent space for betty to hang out for the day! the periodic updates were excellent. we also especially appreciated the fact he had time to take her on a walk and play fetch 😊 would definitely book again!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!
“Yujie is an incredibly responsible dog sitter. He made sure to take time to meet Monty beforehand, which helped us confirm they were a great fit and left us with a good feeling. During the visit, he took wonderful care of Monty and sent us pictures throughout the day! Monty clearly loved being with him and is eager to visit again soon.”

“Absolutely amazing, came in last minute when my plans for a dog sitter had fallen apart and took amazing care of my fur baby. I think our trip ended up being more fun for him than it was for us thanks to Jen. Highly recommend!!”

“We chose Sherryann because our other Rover daycare sitter was booked, and we are so happy we did. She scheduled a meet and greet before his stay and allowed all of her dogs to meet our puppy, Frodo, one at a time so he wouldn’t be overwhelmed. During his stay, she sent great photos and videos all day long. It was a muddy day and she let all of the dogs outside to play and explore anyway, and she even washed him up for me before I picked up! He came home so exhausted he hardly woke up for dinner, so we know he had a blast. We will continue to use Sherryann and highly recommend her for all your doggie care needs.”

About: I have been surrounded by animals and family responsibilities my entire life, and caring for others is a core part of who I am. Growing up in a busy, dedicated pet-owning family, I spent years helping look after my little sister and raising three different dogs across all life stages. My first childhood dog, Fonzie, sparked my deep bond with animals early on. Later, our second family dog, Crembo, was my constant companion from the time I was seven years old until she passed away fifteen years later. Caring for her throughout her senior years gave me immense, hands-on experience handling aging pets and maintaining gentle, patient daily routines. Today, our family dog Kiwi has been a huge part of my life since I was sixteen, keeping me fully dialed into the daily energy, habits, and exercise needs of active pets. In addition to dogs, my family has also kept fish tanks my entire life, giving me a lifelong familiarity with maintaining basic aquarium care. Beyond my own family, I have a proven track record of independent responsibility when looking after other people's homes and pets, including a wide variety of dogs, cats, and fish. For nearly three years during high school, a neighbor hired me to care for her dog, Splenda, almost every single day after school. I managed her afternoon routine for an hour or two daily, ensuring she got her exercise, fresh water, and companionship before her owner returned from work. This long-term commitment taught me the absolute importance of punctuality and consistency in an animal's life. Over the years, I have regularly house-sat and pet-sat for various people, which includes managing feeding schedules and daily care specifically for a close family friend's cat over many successful stays. These experiences often involved staying at properties entirely alone overnight or managing them independently during the day. Because of this, I am highly adaptable to different home security systems, household rules, and unique pet personalities. My background working as a camp counselor and professional bartender also adds a strong layer to my reliability. I am deeply accustomed to high-trust environments, handling unexpected situations with a cool head, and maintaining strict organizational standards. Working in hospitality means I am naturally obsessed with cleanliness and organization, closing down spaces spotlessly, and keeping environments completely neat and tidy. I am fully accustomed to managing daily household chores and handling a property responsibly while owners are away, treating every home with the exact same respect I give my own. I recently relocated to Austin and I'm in the process of picking up part-time bartending shifts, which works out well for both of us — I get the time, and your pet gets someone who's actually around. I've got a sweet dog, Kiwi, back home, and I've missed having that kind of company since moving, so I'd love having a pet around again. My schedule is wide open — I'm available every day, any time, including weekends. Most of my days are spent job hunting, settling into the city, and just being around the house, so I'm home and available a lot, not squeezing visits in between other things. If your pet wants extra walks, more playtime, or just someone hanging around keeping them company, I'm happy to make that part of my day. I treat every client's home and pets the way I'd want mine treated. Since I only provide care in your home (house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking), my focus is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space, and that your home is exactly how you left it when you get back. Household Security & Care: I'll double-check doors and gates, make sure the alarm's set, bring in mail or packages, and keep things clean and tidy the whole time I'm there, like you never left. Safety on Walks: Dogs stay securely leashed, and I keep an eye out for other dogs, traffic, and Texas heat on the pavement. I'm also a bigger guy, so if your dog's a puller, gets nervous in busy spots and needs to be held close, or just needs a lift now and then, even a big dog, that's genuinely no trouble for me. Routine & Health Monitoring: I'll stick to your exact feeding, medication, and exercise routine, and I pay attention to how they're acting, eating, and moving so I notice early if something feels off. Communication: You'll get daily photos, a quick note on how walks and meals went, and a fast reply whenever you reach out, so you're not left wondering how things are going.
“Olivia is great she is very polite, professional and attentive with my pet's needs and has great communication skills I can be at work and know my pet is in good hands. I would highly recommend her services!”

“Brandy is amazing! I didn’t update my address on Rover and it sent her to my old spot and she still drove to my current address and walked him for me. I would 10/10 recommend her and will continue to use her services when needed. Thank you, Brandy, for taking such good care of my baby. 🥰”

About: Hi, I’m Payton — a lifelong animal lover based in Austin/Lakeway! Over the past 25+ years, I've had the opportunity to care for and work with 135+ pets of various breeds & needs. I’ve cared for puppies/kittens, seniors, special-needs, and hospice pets. I’m experienced with administering medications for epilepsy, GI and kidney conditions, eye diseases, allergies, joint issues, and other health needs. About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.
“Allison was awesome! She took my pup out on a walk and gave him love while I had long days at work. He was super comfortable with her and I felt comfortable knowing she was taking care of him. She came over before the first walk and answered all of my many questions. She sent me updates and pictures each day, which were very appreciated. I will definitely use her again when I need a walker or someone to stay with my pup!”

“Cheyanne did a fantastic job of looking after my dog Louie. He has a lot of quirks, and she was patient and kind with him. I received lots of pup-dates and pictures of my little guy! I could relax knowing he was in good hands while I was gone.”

“Penny came back home very happy & in great spirits! I can tell she was very well taken care of. Great communication and lots of pictures from Rebecca too! Would definitely book again. :)”

“Brendan took great care of our pup, was easy and quick with communication, sent pics and updates, and was flexible with some last minute schedule changes. I would send our pup back anytime!”

“Lola had a great experience staying with Yujie! She got to spend 5 days with him and his dog Brownie and cat Stormie, which she LOVED. When I picked her up, I could tell she had been well taken care of. She wagged her tail the whole way home. Yujie was also great at communicating + sent daily updates! I am really grateful for his help! 🙏🏼”

“Trevor was a wonderful sitter for our dog with some unique special needs. He treated her like family and we felt she was left in great loving care. He was attentive and patient, great at communication, and a gem to work with. We are lucky to have found him.”

“Ashley was a wonderful caretaker for my boy Laszlo. She sent lots of photos and videos of him playing in the yard with the other dogs or relaxing in her home. It was such wonderful peace of mind to know he was in good hands. We will definitely book with her again. Thanks Ashley!”

“Momo had her first overnight with Paul and Karina and had a great time. It really gives us peace of mind to know she’s in good hands when we drop her off.”

“Communication with Juan is always excellent, and he did a great job managing our high energy pup for walks and when staying at his house. Will definitely book again!”

“Jacob was great and Lucy really seemed to enjoy her the time she spent with him! It was the first time I’ve left her overnight with a sitter and she did great! He sent updates and I was able to rest easy knowing Lucy was doing well! Would definitely book again”

“Eddie was phenomenal with Kai. Kai can be pretty high energy but Eddie was great about finding time to take him out on walks even during a Rainy weekend. Felt super comfortable having Kai stay at their house for the weekend with all the great pupdates. Would definitely book with Eddie again in the future”

“Our dog Archie absolutely loved staying with Wilson, Jessica, and their pup Winnie! They kept us updated with so many amazing and adorable photos! Their care of our pup was above and beyond. We will use them again!”
“Erika was fantastic with my dog! She was very proactive about sending multiple updates a day via photo and videos. Erika's was also a great place for exercise and hanging out with other dog friends. I will for sure be booking her services in the future. Thank you!”

“David was great! Communication was clear throughout the entire process. He sent multiple pictures and videos of Junie during her visit. Even gave me a little picture of her in a frame! I will continue to come back in the future!”
