“We were in town for a short visit and needed a place for our pup to stay for several hours. Jin and her husband were very friendly, responsive, and sent many picture updates. Highly recommend and would definitely rebook when we’re back in Austin!”

“Paul and Karina take excellent care of our dogs. They’re extra protective with our geriatric dog who needs medication. Their photo updates are frequent and communication is fast. They’re amazing!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7! I’m comfortable with small and medium breeds! I adore puppies and can keep up with their basic training! I will only watch 2-3 dogs. I’m always home and don’t have much work to do. I have a lot of free time to take care of animals! Flexible with potty breaks and walks. I personally don’t crate my dog but if that’s what you would feel comfortable with, I can do that with yours! My home is clean, clutter free and I live alone.
About: Hello! Thank you for taking me into consideration to care for your furry loved one. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have taken care of my own cat for over 8 years. While I don’t currently own a dog, I’ve house/dog-sat for my parents 2 dogs on multiple occasions in recent years, and always help care for them when I go down and visit. My cat has diabetes, so I have experience administering subcutaneous injections (for his insulin). And I also have extensive experience administering eye drops/ointment as his eyes have, unfortunately, stopped producing tears. One of my parent’s dogs also has three legs, so I have experience accommodating for animals with special needs. I work from home full-time, so I’m able to provide 24/7 care for your animal. Regular walks, potty breaks throughout the day, and lots of pets and affection are what can be expected while staying with me. 🙂 I have an apartment in a safe location, that also has a fenced in dog park on the property we can use throughout the day or night. I do have one cat in my home, but he is very dog friendly and enjoys their company.
About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 7-month-old puppy who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.
“Zachary was great, he was really good with Oliver and I could tell he had a blast. Oliver slept the rest of the night so he was definitely worn out, which is what I wanted! I would highly recommend using Zachary again!”

About: Hi! I’m Gabriela, a lifelong dog lover who has cared for pups of all shapes and sizes, from tiny teacups to large breeds. With over 15 years of hands-on experience and a history of boarding for friends and families, I’ve learned that every dog deserves to be treated like family, not just a pet. With my own doodle, Bentley, by my side (a super-friendly mini/medium Goldendoodle), your pup will always have a built-in buddy for walks, playtime, and snuggles. Because their safety and happiness are my top priority, I only board dogs who are friendly, house trained, and a good match for Bentley’s easygoing personality. Your pup will enjoy daily walks (at least 3 a day), plenty of love, playtime, and a warm, homey environment where they’re treated with the same care and affection as my own. I go above and beyond to ensure your pup feels safe, loved, and spoiled with attention—while also keeping you comfortable and updated every step of the way. Because I work from home, I’m able to give plenty of attention throughout the day. I use my breaks to play, cuddle, and check in with the dogs, and I make sure they get regular walks (at least 3 a day) to stay happy and active. In my home, I provide a safe, loving environment with a crate available if needed and my friendly Goldendoodle, Bentley, as a companion. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood where safety is a priority on every walk. Since I work from home, I can give plenty of attention, playtime, and regular walks. In client homes, I follow each pet’s routine closely, making sure they feel safe and comfortable while keeping owners updated every step of the way.
About: Howdy, I’m Abby, the face behind Austin Puparazzi! With 5 years of experience in the pet industry and a background in dog daycare, I know what it takes to keep pups happy and safe. I have two friendly puppies who love making new friends, so your dog will enjoy plenty of playtime and socialization. As a student at the University of Texas, I’m responsible, flexible, and committed to giving your furry family member the best care possible. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life! After class, I take my two pups for a walk and then we relax while I work on school assignments. This makes it easy for me to fit in dog walks and drop-in visits any day of the week. I also offer in-home overnight sleepover at my place for families who need extra vacation time. Your pup will feel right at home! I live in a dog-friendly apartment with two lovely dog parks nearby, so daily exercise is a priority. My two pups and I go on four walks a day, and visiting the parks is part of our routine. I provide feeding three times a day, and treats are given out generously for good behavior. My dogs are part of our family, and I’ll treat yours the same—with love, attention, and plenty of playtime!
“Stephanie, Todd, and Milo were great and took great care of Woods! They sent me pictures throughout the day and he came home so tired. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: I helped raise a mixed-breed dog with my ex-girlfriend for over three and a half years. During that time, I took care of feeding, walking, and training, and developed a deep understanding of dogs’ needs and behavior. I’m a genuine dog lover who enjoys spending time with them and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I recently graduated and am currently job hunting, so I spend most of my time at home. This allows me to be fully available to care for your dog throughout the day and give them plenty of attention and companionship. I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re in my home or their own. I take time to understand each pet’s habits and preferences before caring for them. At home, I keep the space clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow their routines for feeding, walking, and playtime, and keep constant attention on their safety and well-being. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, love, and respect.
“Jeff was awesome with Bo. I got several picture updates of Bo playing with Ghost and he seemed to have a fun time. Would definitely recommend Jeff and plan to ask him to watch Bo sometime again!”

About: Raised a Chihuahua to 16 years old and foster dogs and cats for Austin shelters. I give every pet personalized, gentle care like they are my own family. Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around visits, feedings, playtime, and walks to make sure every pet gets the care and attention they need. I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and always make sure pets stay happy and safe. I always make sure pets are in a safe, clean, and calm environment. In my home, I pet-proof the space and keep dangerous items out of reach. I keep doors secure, and make sure pets feel comfortable and stress-free. Their safety and happiness always come first.
“Casandra took great care of Niko during my day trip out of Austin. When I picked up Niko, he was happy and tired! Casandra made sure Niko got along with her dog Cory by having a meet-and-greet beforehand. She also updated me with a lot of photos from the day. Would definitely drop Niko off with her and Cory again! Thanks, Casandra.”

“Dianelis was great with my dog. She sent multiple photos and videos. She took him on a walk and he had a great time playing with her dog. She was great at communicating and I would definitely book with her again!”

“Rebecca is wonderful! Absolutely amazing dog sitter! She was incredibly flexible, communicative, and sent tons of adorable photos throughout the stay. I could tell my dog Nino was happy, comfortable, and in great hands. I would 100% book again and highly recommend!”

About: My wife and I are lifelong pet lovers and proud pet parents to two sweet cats and a hamster! We’ve raised pets from a young age, so we’re very comfortable with the energy (and occasional chaos!) that comes with puppies and kittens. Fun fact: my wife is an Ivy League grad, but nothing brings her more joy than caring for pets!:) We got our first cat back in 2021 when she was just 3 months old, and it’s been so special watching her grow up. We recently welcomed a second kitten to the family, and now we have a playful little duo that keeps us on our toes! We also have plenty of experience caring for pets beyond our own. Over the years, we’ve helped take care of friends’ and family’s dogs and cats, and now we regularly care for our clients’ dogs, cats, and even bunnies! We love getting to know each pet’s personality, and we’re always happy to follow whatever routine your pet is used to, and we do our best to make them feel safe and at home. Our home is superrr cozy and pet-friendly! We’ve got an automatic litter box, feeder, water fountain, a tall cat tree, and way too many toys and treats. For dogs, we make sure they get plenty of walks and play breaks, and we always supervise interactions with our two cats to make sure everyone is comfortable!
North Shoal Creek dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alfie has a great time with Mariia. He's a shy dog but seemed to warm up to Mariia very quickly and it was only his second visit with her. He even gave her his paws, a huge sign of trust. Mariia was easy to communicate with, and kept me updated with regular updates. We will definitely be booking Mariia for Alfie again. :)

Jen was very thorough in her observations of our pups. She listened very carefully to our sharing of the history of the adoption process and our plans to get training for ourselves and the fur babies. We were specific about needs and she answered all of our questions. We’ve never hired a dog sitter, so we appreciated her patience! The experience has made us so much more relaxed about leaving our pets with someone while we travel.

Jin was great with our pup and us! As first time Rover-users, we loved getting pics and text updates that showed us she was settling in. Everything went great. She was flexible with our schedule for drop off and pickup. Couldn’t have asked for an easier first-time experience.

Zwein was awesome with my older Shepherd! She was super patient and caring, and you can tell she really loves dogs. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages and pictures, which I really appreciated. My dog came home happy and calm — exactly what I was hoping for. I’d definitely book with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.

Anne is an absolute gem of a dogsitter! She helped me out last minute, and I truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after Bart. From the start, she was so kind, caring, and accommodating. Bart immediately felt at home with her and absolutely loved spending time with her dogs. Every time he went over, he came back happy, tired, and clearly well-loved. Anne really went above and beyond to make things easy for us, and I’ll always be grateful for how much she helped. She will forever be Bart’s dogsitter whenever we’re in Austin. We’re so lucky to have found her!
