I grew up in a military family, which meant a lot of moving, and a lot of practice loving pets through the anxiety of leaving them behind. Later, jobs that required constant travel deepened that experience that much further. What I figured out over the years was how to find sitters I could truly trust, and what made those relationships work. Now that I'm on the other side of the leash, I pour all of that understanding into every dog (or cat) I host. I work from home and am here most of the day, so your dog is never just waiting around with nothing to do. They're hanging out with me and we're buddies. I keep a strict maximum of 2 dogs at a time. That's not a limitation because I found that's the best balance for my wife and I. Your dog gets real attention from us, not a rotation. We're only one block from a local dog park at Villages at Domain, I have doggy companions on standby for playtime, and walks through North Austin are part of our regular routine. I have a soft spot for rescue and shelter pups, though every dog is welcome here regardless of the breed or size. There's something special about a dog who's finally found their people and I absolutely love being part of that.

I work remotely full-time, so home is where I actually am. Your dog sets the rhythm, I'm just following their lead and your instructions.

Right next to the dog park at Villages at Domain, in one of North Austin's most pet-friendly communities. The home stays calm with a max 2 dogs staying here, always, and every new guest gets a meet-and-greet before their first stay so nothing feels unfamiliar when they're hanging out.

Mornings usually start with a walk through the neighborhood. You'll almost always run into other dogs and their owners from my building and neighbors around, which makes for a great natural socialization moment. From there, the day flows around your pup: playtime, rest, and/or a trip to the dog park at Villages at Domain when the energy (and weather) calls for it. Evenings wind down with another walk and plenty of couch time. The Domain is genuinely one of Austin's best neighborhoods for dogs, and we take full advantage of it.
