“Jin and his family were absolutely wonderful with our dog, Matilda. From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear she was in caring and attentive hands. They treated her like part of their own family, kept us updated with messages and photos, and made sure she felt comfortable and loved throughout her stay. Matilda came home happy and clearly well cared for. We’re so grateful to have found Jin and his family, and we would gladly book with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing care takers. I was out of town for a week and they always kept me informed and up to date on Wally. They even gave me some tips and ideas for helping with his tendencies. Highly recommend!”

“Our two dogs loved their time with Kimberley. She’s got great training and behavior experience and they were better behaved when we picked them up than when we dropped them off! Her house has access to great trails and outdoor space and our pups had lots of play and exercise. Highly recommend!”

“Brendan was a wonderful warm and caring caretaker for our dog Yumi. Lots of walks, love, and attentive to Yumi's eating habits. We received regular updates and Brendan was responsive. Recommended!”

“Ashley is the best! This is our second time leaving our little fur baby with Ashley. She took care of Hope like her own. She responded promptly and accomodated our requests for Hope with such kindness. My husband and I were at ease leaving her behind with someone who is caring and loving. Hope hanging with Carter is always a plus! Thanks Ashley!”

“Cheyanne was very accommodating. We had some special circumstances for when we could pick up our dog and she was able to honor them. Her home is full of dog friendly toys and a yard perfect for our exploring pup. We would absolutely use Cheyenne in the future.”

“Eddie & his wife were absolutely AMAZING! They sent tons of photos & updates, took Brewski for a walk & I know he was well taken care of as if he were their own! My dog had such a blast with Eddie’s family (including their dogs)! HIGHLY recommend & will definitely use again in the future!”

“Valerie kept our cute Murphy for 7 days. He is notoriously shy and takes a long while to warm up to people. Just after a few days he felt at home. He actually enjoyed her backyard and even walked around her house. She was patient and so loving towards him. We highly recommend Valerie and will use her again if we are lucky enough to go on another family vacation.”

“Chris is a very dedicated and caring sitter. He is experienced with dogs of all sizes. Our dog August had a great time with Chris and his dog Kasza in the last 12 days. Chris sent constant updates of photos, and even left us a very touching hand written card when my husband picked up August. We are very happy with Chris's service. He went above and beyond. Highly recommended!”

“Erika is fantastic. My pup loves her visit, comes home tired and fulfilled. I recently went on a long trip out of the country, and Erika was able to provide updates on Chicory's stay in a timely manner given the time difference allowing for a peaceful, no stress vacation.”

“Cassandra was excellent! Her dog, Cory, was very sweet to our puppy and they got along well all weekend. Cassandra was very responsive and we could tell Stella had a great time when we picked her up. Best of all, she sent tons of pictures so we felt very comfortable all weekend knowing Stella was in good hands.”

“Marisa was wonderful with Mango and so communicative. She made me feel so comfortable and like my kitty was taken care of and safe. It was obvious that she is great with animals because she was able to pick up on mangoes personality very quickly. I would definitely recommend booking Marisa and will do so myself again in the future.”

“This was my first time using Rover and Michelle. I have to say, I’m impressed. Simba took to Michelle from the first time he met her, which says a lot since he usually hides under the bed when company comes. Michelle gave my kitty all the love and attention he was craving during my absence. Her daily updates gave me confidence that he was being well-cared for and she provided plenty of photos showing how comfortable and happy he was with her. I have already recommended Michelle to others.”

“Will (Yihung) was reliable and wonderfully communicative. Sent plenty of update pictures and really took the time to make sure my kitties felt comfortable around him. Would definitely book again!”

“Kara was super accomodating with my last minute request to take care of MiMi during the holiday season. We were able to meet up before the scheduled time to walk through what would be needed, and she did a great job both with pre-discussed arrangements and adapting to requests on the fly. During visits she was constantly communicative and sent plenty of photos and reports, and I felt like she took great care of MiMi!”

“Blanca and her daughter were very sweet and patient with my shy cat, and she communicated throughout her visits, providing me with photos and videos while I was away. She also took care of my home - watering my plants and cleaning up messes my cat made while I was away. I would highly recommend her and would rebook her for future drop in visits.”

“Thomas is a reliable and professional sitter. He always replied quickly to my messages and provided excellent care for my cats while I was away. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!”

“Eileen came for drop-in visits for my cat for about a week, and she was an incredible sitter! She was very communicative and flexible during the entire time, and was great at building trust with my usually very timid cat. Her timely update cards on Rover gave me peace of mind while I was away that my cat was in safe loving hands. I would HIGHLY recommend Eileen for anyone looking for Rover services and she would be my top choice in rebooking if I ever need to again!”

“He is so patient with my reactive baby! I’m grateful he was available to take on our weekly visits, and Rash loves him already. I never saw her give kisses to someone that quickly but she licked him right in the face at our meet and greet!”

About: Hello! My name is JJ and I'm a trail runner that decided to combine the two things I love the most: exercise and animals. I have been providing pet care for dogs, cats and other household pets full-time for over 8 years in Austin now. I am currently providing pet care full-time during the week and often have weekend availability. As a pet parent and a user of Rover pet sitters myself, I know how important good communication and reliability is when you are away from your pet family. I prioritize responding promptly to all booking requests and communication throughout the duration of booked appointments. This includes happily answering questions, sending updates and pet pictures of each visit. For me, communication, transparency and trust are key to having a worry-free workday or trip away! PET CARE: *NEW* Now offering boarding and doggie daycare. My partner and I purchased a house in North Shoal Creek and can now host up to 4 dogs. My partner, Josh Cross, is a software developer and works from home, so visiting pets will always have a human companion while I am away on walks and check-ins. I offer check-ins for dogs, cats and other household pets, to give them food, water, bathroom breaks, clean litter boxes, etc. If there is ever a package or mail by the door, I always bring it inside, as well. WALKS: If your dog(s) just need a potty break and some exercise, I’m more than happy to go for 30-60 minute walks. I typically use my own waist leash, but I can use your leash, if preferred, and I have a tandem leash attachment to take two dogs for an outing together, if needed. RUNS: For dogs that like to run, I can jog at your dogs pace for 30-60 minutes. Slow or fast, with water breaks, walk breaks, and potty breaks. On hot days, I prioritize finding the shadiest routes in the area and run in the grass when possible. For running dogs, I prefer them to wear a body harness or gentle leader, if available. *I offer a limited number of dog runs per day depending on daily volume.* My love for animals comes from growing up with a family that spoiled inside pets of many species and sizes. I cherished my own chihuahua, Zeus, of 14 years. Nowadays, I share a big, sweet super-mutt named Ozzie with my partner, Josh. I currently have weekday availability during traditional work hours, but I also have some evenings and weekends available. I don’t prefer to book recurring weekly appointments on the weekends. I regularly keep my Rover calendar updated and list the dates I’m out of town in my profile, in case I don’t have reception on vacation, usually a camping trip. I prefer to use a waist leash, which is safer and more secure than holding a leash in my hand. Please supply waste bags and any treats you would like me to give to your pet.
“I had a wonderful experience. I showed up completely forgetting my pup’s belongings and didn’t get a chance to drive home to grab his stuff. They were very accommodating and helped me feel at ease with text updates and photos. When I picked up my pup his tail was wagging and I could tell he had a good time. Will definitely use their services again! Thanks again for everything !”

About: Hi there! I’m a mom of energetic triplets and a lifelong dog lover. For the past 5+ years, I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs in my home, often with a full (and happy!) pack of up to five pups at a time. I work from home, which means your dog gets lots of attention, cuddles, and supervision throughout the day. My kids are with me 50% of the time, and they absolutely adore dogs — lots of love, belly rubs, and a little spoiling guaranteed! We have a big, fully fenced backyard for plenty of playtime. If your pup enjoys adventures, I try to make it out to the Domain dog park a few times a week. We currently have two dogs of our own: 🐾 A mellow 16-year-old who likes to keep to himself 🐾 A playful 2 year old who’s crate trained and full of energy — but I always set boundaries to keep things peaceful and positive. This is a loving, safe, and dog-friendly home. Whether your pup loves to play or just needs a cozy place to nap, they’ll feel right at home here. Let me know if you have any questions — I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I work full-time from home and take my dog to the park practically every day and I have a pretty light workload, which allows me to give lots of attention to all my furry friends . I spoil them with attention and very good with paying attention to each dogs needs and personalities . My visitors get plenty of rest, routine and I cater to any diet, exercise, and training needs that owners have.
“Jen took great care of my little best friend! He was excited to arrive and meet the dogs of the house and they were excited to meet him! It is immediately obvious that Jen is a bone-a-fied (pun intended) Dog Person!”

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 years and have experience with post surgery, administering medicines, and senior dogs for 2 years. I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. I have a good sized fenced in yard for dogs of all sizes to explore and sniff to their hearts desires! I work from home so I can accommodate any special bathroom or other timing needs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.
About: I have about 10+ years of experience in care. I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 15. I have a lot of love to give, and I personally crate & potty trained my dogs. I’m currently a full-time student, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I spend most of my time studying from home, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I can’t wait to meet your babies! 💕 I live in a pet-friendly apartment with plenty of walking areas nearby. I take dogs outside regularly for potty breaks, walks, and playtime, always ensuring their safety and comfort during every outing.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether it’s belly rubs, outdoor play, or quiet company, I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and happy! Besides dogs, I love all animals! I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!
“Javi had such a blast with Sherryann & Emily. I received many pictures and videos of his adventures. They were super accommodating and fast at getting back to me. I would definitely book with them again!”

“Ashley does an incredible job with my pup, Kona. I was a bit nervous about leaving her with someone else, but Ashley made me feel really comfortable and gave me a lot of updates! She also has been incredibly flexible with my crazy schedule and accommodating with Kona's preference to only be with smaller dogs. Thanks Ashley!”

“Paul and Karina are familiar with our dog, Momo, but we adopted a second dog a couple of months ago who is dog-social but shy and skittish with people. We dropped her off for daycare and she warmed up after a bit and liked playing with their dog, Luna. Really appreciate all of Paul’s photos, videos, and efforts to make her feel comfortable.”

“We were in town for a short visit and needed a place for our pup to stay for several hours. Jin and her husband were very friendly, responsive, and sent many picture updates. Highly recommend and would definitely rebook when we’re back in Austin!”

“David was great for daycare with our dog! He responded promptly, took care to understand our dog's needs and was provided us with photos and updates throughout the day. He also provided us with a framed portrait of our dog at the end of the day, which was an awesome gesture. Would highly recommend David for doggy daycare or boarding!”

“Kody was great. Came for a meet and greet and seemed genuinely interested in what Theo’s needs were. Arrived for Theo’s walk on time and sent a few photos and a nice update. Was kind and considerate with all of our instructions as we have a lot of concerns due to Theo’s size and medical history.”

“Kara was a great and attentive dog walker for my little zuko. He's super high energy so I realize he can be a lot, but Kara went above and beyond when working with him :) I also loved all the detailed notes, photos and videos.”

About: I spent more than a decade loving a very large, very opinionated German Shepherd named Ruta through epilepsy, severe allergies, endless medication schedules, and his senior years, so “high-maintenance” pets don’t scare me. I tend to love them even harder. These days I’m supervised by Edwin, my mini Aussie rescue, who has strong opinions about other dogs, delivery trucks, and apparently several completely innocent squirrels. Living with him has made me very comfortable with boundaries, reactivity, slow introductions, and the fact that not every dog wants to be everybody’s friend. I’m also the person who genuinely wants the six-paragraph document explaining exactly how your dog likes breakfast. Give me the quirks, the routines, the medications, the weird little rules, the favorite toy, the thing they absolutely will not do unless you ask them in a very specific way. I want to know all of it. Basically: I take your pet seriously without taking myself too seriously. And yes, I will probably send you too many pictures. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine. Walks, meals, potty breaks, meds, couch hangs; tell me what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to keep things consistent. Tell me everything. What’s their routine? What makes them nervous? Are they an escape artist? A sock eater? Do they lose their mind when a skateboard goes by? How are they on leash? I’m big on respecting a pet’s boundaries and keeping their routine as familiar as possible. I’d much rather know about a quirk or trigger ahead of time than be surprised by it later.
“Jenna is the best dog walker we’ve ever had. She is very responsive, punctual and professional. Our dogs are very energetic and Jenna was able to handle them (and tire them!) wonderfully. We can’t recommend her enough!”

“Sofia has been the best addition to my pup’s life! My husband I both just got new jobs and need to be in office more than we have before and just knowing I have someone I trust to come into my home and play, walk and love on my dog while I’m away gives such peace of mind. Her report cards are great at the end of the each walk/playtime!”

“Brandy is amazing! We did a meet and greet with our pups and she asked all the best questions and was so easy to talk to. It's clear she cares a lot and we definitely trust her with our doggos. We will absolutely keep calling her for weekly dog walks. Our pups love her, even our very shy girl Penny. <3 Thank you, Brandy!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals and family responsibilities my entire life, and caring for others is a core part of who I am. Growing up in a busy, dedicated pet-owning family, I spent years helping look after my little sister and raising three different dogs across all life stages. My first childhood dog, Fonzie, sparked my deep bond with animals early on. Later, our second family dog, Crembo, was my constant companion from the time I was seven years old until she passed away fifteen years later. Caring for her throughout her senior years gave me immense, hands-on experience handling aging pets and maintaining gentle, patient daily routines. Today, our family dog Kiwi has been a huge part of my life since I was sixteen, keeping me fully dialed into the daily energy, habits, and exercise needs of active pets. In addition to dogs, my family has also kept fish tanks my entire life, giving me a lifelong familiarity with maintaining basic aquarium care. Beyond my own family, I have a proven track record of independent responsibility when looking after other people's homes and pets, including a wide variety of dogs, cats, and fish. For nearly three years during high school, a neighbor hired me to care for her dog, Splenda, almost every single day after school. I managed her afternoon routine for an hour or two daily, ensuring she got her exercise, fresh water, and companionship before her owner returned from work. This long-term commitment taught me the absolute importance of punctuality and consistency in an animal's life. Over the years, I have regularly house-sat and pet-sat for various people, which includes managing feeding schedules and daily care specifically for a close family friend's cat over many successful stays. These experiences often involved staying at properties entirely alone overnight or managing them independently during the day. Because of this, I am highly adaptable to different home security systems, household rules, and unique pet personalities. My background working as a camp counselor and professional bartender also adds a strong layer to my reliability. I am deeply accustomed to high-trust environments, handling unexpected situations with a cool head, and maintaining strict organizational standards. Working in hospitality means I am naturally obsessed with cleanliness and organization, closing down spaces spotlessly, and keeping environments completely neat and tidy. I am fully accustomed to managing daily household chores and handling a property responsibly while owners are away, treating every home with the exact same respect I give my own. I recently relocated to Austin and I'm in the process of picking up part-time bartending shifts, which works out well for both of us — I get the time, and your pet gets someone who's actually around. I've got a sweet dog, Kiwi, back home, and I've missed having that kind of company since moving, so I'd love having a pet around again. My schedule is wide open — I'm available every day, any time, including weekends. Most of my days are spent job hunting, settling into the city, and just being around the house, so I'm home and available a lot, not squeezing visits in between other things. If your pet wants extra walks, more playtime, or just someone hanging around keeping them company, I'm happy to make that part of my day. I treat every client's home and pets the way I'd want mine treated. Since I only provide care in your home (house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking), my focus is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space, and that your home is exactly how you left it when you get back. Household Security & Care: I'll double-check doors and gates, make sure the alarm's set, bring in mail or packages, and keep things clean and tidy the whole time I'm there, like you never left. Safety on Walks: Dogs stay securely leashed, and I keep an eye out for other dogs, traffic, and Texas heat on the pavement. I'm also a bigger guy, so if your dog's a puller, gets nervous in busy spots and needs to be held close, or just needs a lift now and then, even a big dog, that's genuinely no trouble for me. Routine & Health Monitoring: I'll stick to your exact feeding, medication, and exercise routine, and I pay attention to how they're acting, eating, and moving so I notice early if something feels off. Communication: You'll get daily photos, a quick note on how walks and meals went, and a fast reply whenever you reach out, so you're not left wondering how things are going.
“Yihung is incredible with our pup Winnie. He took the time to visit her and take her around the block to make sure everything went smoothly. He shared plenty of photos along the way. No doubt, we’ll be regulars of Yihung moving forward!!”

“April was exceptional. It was a last minute booking and she was so beyond accommodating. We will be asking April back whenever she’s available! Love, Corbin and Little Bear”

“Olivia is great she is very polite, professional and attentive with my pet's needs and has great communication skills I can be at work and know my pet is in good hands. I would highly recommend her services!”

“Leigh is a great communicator! You can tell she's very conscientious about her responsibility of caring for your dog. I trust she will let me know of any concerns that should arise during her time with my dog.”

“Margaret has a sweet, calm energy and my normally shy dog took to her immediately. Margaret is so knowledgeable about reactivity with dogs and her experience put me at ease knowing my girl is safe with her!”

About: I LOVE a good walk. In the later years of my dog, I was very attentive of joint health and trying to keep her comfortable. Their comfort is my joy. I treat animals how I would like to be treated. Much love and care. Let me know if you need anything. I work full time at a grocery store. Unfortunately,I had to say goodbye to my Abby a few months ago. Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you. I have a full time job with strange hours. I do not have a set schedule but I always get my schedule for the next week by Wednesday. Making plans a week in advance works best for me but I'll let you know if there's time the week of also! I will abide by any treat rules and keep the space clean to come back to! Much love and care to anything I do (:

I am available for recurring clients as needed. I follow instructions left by pet parents. They are the expert(s) on their furry family member(s). It is my responsibility to care for them and make sure they have a great visit while their family is away. About: I’ve cared for a wide range of pets growing up, including dogs, cats, fish, and small animals like guinea pigs. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from raising my own dog from 8 weeks old to caring for senior dogs with more specialized needs. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy working with high-energy dogs, making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and attention they need throughout the day. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to stay present, maintain routines, and give pets consistent care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also prioritize clear communication and provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care is something I intentionally structure my day around, not something I fit in when I have time. Since I work remotely, I’m home and available throughout the day, which allows for consistent walks, playtime, and attention instead of long gaps alone. I live in a large home with a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe, easy access to the outdoors for breaks and fresh air. I still make sure they get proper walks and activity based on their energy level—it’s not just yard time. I adjust my schedule to match each pet’s routine—whether that’s higher activity and stimulation or a calmer, more predictable pace—and focus on keeping their day consistent and low-stress. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, structured, and low-stress environment. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and downtime—so the transition feels as natural as possible. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor breaks, along with regular walks and playtime based on their energy level. I’m home throughout the day, so they receive consistent supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all instructions closely—feeding, walks, medications if needed—and make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar space. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean, and provide regular updates so owners know how their pet is doing. In both settings, I focus on being attentive, reliable, and responsive to each pet’s individual needs.

“Amazing care takers. I was out of town for a week and they always kept me informed and up to date on Wally. They even gave me some tips and ideas for helping with his tendencies. Highly recommend!”

“Brendan was a wonderful warm and caring caretaker for our dog Yumi. Lots of walks, love, and attentive to Yumi's eating habits. We received regular updates and Brendan was responsive. Recommended!”

“Trevor was a wonderful sitter for our dog with some unique special needs. He treated her like family and we felt she was left in great loving care. He was attentive and patient, great at communication, and a gem to work with. We are lucky to have found him.”

“Our dog Archie absolutely loved staying with Wilson, Jessica, and their pup Winnie! They kept us updated with so many amazing and adorable photos! Their care of our pup was above and beyond. We will use them again!”

“I haven’t used Rover in a while as I have a regular sitter now, but the rare time they are unavailable I was quite nervous coming back on Rover again. I’m SO glad I found Sam on here! He was so responsive, made sure to provide me consistent updates and followed my instructions perfectly. Petey (my dog) absolutely enjoyed staying with Sam, I could tell - so I will be using his services again.”
“Our dog was so happy with Cassandra and Jason! They sent us plenty of update pictures and make sure he had so much fun while we were out of town. We’ll definitely use them again!”

“David was great! Communication was clear throughout the entire process. He sent multiple pictures and videos of Junie during her visit. Even gave me a little picture of her in a frame! I will continue to come back in the future!”

“I was really nervous about finding a new dog sitter after losing someone I trusted for years, but I truly hit the jackpot with Becca. She took such great care of my dogs and treated them like her own. While I was away, she sent lots of updates and pictures, which made me feel so much more at ease. It was clear my boys were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m so grateful to have found her and will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much, Becca!”

“The best sitter I've ever had. I can't recommend him enough! Captain looked happier than I've ever seen him with any sitter before. Yujie is absolutely reliable, took amazing care of him, kept me updated, and treated him like family. I had complete peace of mind while I was away. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my boy! Will def my boy with him again”

“Jules took great care of Maisie and sent lots of pictures/videos! She was very attentive with her medications and allergies. We did notice that Maisie and her bedding came back strongly smelling of something like cigarettes. Overall it was clear that Jules really loves dogs and is very experienced with having them in her home!”
