About: In high school I briefly volunteered at Keller HSNT and then pivoted to volunteering at a no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter called Operation Kindness where I was trained to properly look after both dogs and cats! I volunteered there for several years and I was able to walk the dogs there too, learning how to provide them a calm walk and to deescalate their stress in response to their environment. Additionally, I have my own two sweet dogs back home and I always take them on long walks and adore caring for them. Since they’re my family’s dogs, I don’t consider caring for them as professional pet care experience, but I do want to mention that my love for Buster and Mojo has taught me a lot of the basics! Although I’ve taken both of them on walks together before, I would prefer to walk one dog at a time when it comes to other people’s dogs, given that I am less familiar with their temperaments and I want to ensure that everything goes smoothly! Other than that, I absolutely loveeee animals and I enjoy spending time with them! I’ve looked after several of my friends’ dogs before and have been paid to walk some of my neighborhood dogs in high school, as well as dog and cat-sit for them! As a sophomore at UT, classes and student org events are what primarily make up my schedule. I’m usually pretty free on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, because I have classes until 10am those days. On Tuesdays and Thursdays however, my time is more limited because I’m generally unavailable until late afternoon on those days. Caring for a pet at a client’s home includes being incredibly knowledgeable of my client’s boundaries regarding their home, as well as communicating important parts of their pet’s routine. Safety is incredibly essential, and I know that my time and attention towards their pet is crucial: I have never allowed myself to pay more attention to my phone or other things when what I should be paying the greatest level of attention to is the client’s pet.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for dogs and my hands-on experience caring for them throughout my life. I’ve grown up with both a French Bulldog and a Black Lab, which has given me a strong understanding of different breeds, energy levels, and care needs. I’m comfortable working with dogs of varying temperaments and sizes, from high-energy dogs that need active engagement to more relaxed companions who benefit from a calm, steady approach. I work Monday through Friday, which means I am primarily available in the evenings and on weekends. I offer dog walks and drop-in visits after work on weekdays, as well as more flexible availability on weekends for walks, visits, and house sitting. When house sitting, I ensure pets receive attentive care and maintain their normal routines outside of my working hours. I carefully manage my schedule to remain dependable and punctual, ensuring each pet receives the time, attention, and quality care they deserve. I am committed to providing a safe, reliable, and low-stress environment for every pet in my care. Whether I am dog walking or house sitting, I prioritize each pet’s well-being while maintaining the highest level of respect for my client’s home. During dog walks, I ensure all pets are securely leashed and handled with care at all times. I remain attentive to the surrounding environment to avoid potential hazards and tailor each walk to the dog’s age, temperament, and activity level. I also monitor for signs of fatigue or discomfort and ensure pets return home safely and comfortably. For house sitting, I follow each pet’s established routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, and any special care instructions. Maintaining consistency helps minimize stress and keeps pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I also ensure the home remains clean, secure, and well cared for throughout my stay. Communication is a key part of my service. I provide regular updates, including photos and status reports, so clients can feel confident and reassured while they are away. My goal is to deliver dependable, attentive care while creating a safe and positive experience for both pets and their owners.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up and throughout my whole life! (pit bulls mostly) I have been caring for the family dogs for as long as I can remember. Right now we have two rescue pitties named Opie and Tillie. I love all animals and have been pet sitting for about 5 years. I usually volunteer and pet sit for the animal shelter or for people back home, but thought I’d sign up on here as well! I am a full time student, so I attend classes for a few hours during the daytime. Other than that, I will be staying with your fur baby full time (unless told otherwise)! If you give me care instructions I will be sure to follow them very closely and will feed, water, and let your pet out as needed! I love to walk dogs and play with cats/dogs as well! I will never leave your pet unattended for longer than advised to or deviate from any given instructions and take animal care VERY seriously. I will care for your babies as my own, because I know how stressful it is to leave your babies in the care of others!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old and have also watched numerous dogs through the years. My wife and I treat our dog like a spoiled child and have no human kids to take away from our love for her. I work from home 2 days a week and am a 15 minute drive away. Jessica works from home 1 day a week and is a 5 min drive away to come home for potty breaks. We have a large fenced yard we keep locked and it’s easy to throw a ball and other toys around to tire out our pup. We let her sleep in our bed and your dog is welcome to stay where it pleases. We take our dog on long walks twice a day. Occasional visits to parks, town lake trails, and dog friendly breweries and coffee shops as well. We are happy to work within the boundaries you have for your dog! We rarely watch more than two dogs at a time so you can expect a lot of individual attention and an over abundance of pictures and videos.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I had a black miniature schnauzer and my grandma had a very small Yorkshire Terrier. I always took them for walks, fed them, bathed them and also cared for my neighbors and friend’s dogs. This summer I’m staying in Austin with occasional visits to Houston (my hometown). My address changes between both cities and sometimes I forget to change it but just shoot me a message to check where I’m at! Over previous years I went back to Houston and I watched 10 dogs throughout that time and it was such a great experience seeing how different breeds act. Since I’m going to The University of Texas at Austin, I’ll be at home most of the time, studying, or going to class and some events, so I have time to take care of your dogs or cats. I’ll be available to take for walks, exercise, play and feed daily. Right now I’m babysitting and teaching occasionally but during the Summer I will have a job, still looking for something! I make sure to give your pets attention and love so that they feel good. I can drive to your home or you can drop them off/stay in my home. We can also meet some place in the middle for a meet and greet if you want.

About: I grew up around extended family & friends’ dogs & often dog-sat for people. I now have my own little pup, Dave, who is a sweet and spunky Havapoo! I love to help dogs feel loved, cozy, & give them the exercise they need to help you feel confident with their care. I work Monday through Friday, so am really only available some early mornings & primarily afternoons past 4:30 pm! On weekends I am available most of the day. I can be flexible with scheduling & will definitely communicate either way if a time/place works for me. I love to spend time outdoors on walks with the dogs I watch or walk. When house-sitting, I love to spend as much time as possible petting them and playing with them! When leaving for the day, I always make sure to leave them as comfy and nourished as possible, and for dogs who get anxious away from their human I try to give EXTRA loving when I get home!
