“Laura stepped in to take care of my two cats after another sitter cancelled last minute. Laura was super attentive, great communicator, flexible to accommodate the schedule I needed, always on time, followed instructions to the letter, and provided a ton of updates and photos!! My two cats loved her from the first moment and her outstanding level of service gave me peace of mind, knowing that my cats were in great hands while I was out of town. Laura is my new go-to sitter from now on!!”
“I never had to worry about the kitties while we were on vacation. Nevaeh went above and beyond when one of the cats was being super sneaky and she was able to capture him on camera for us to ensure he was in the house (he's really good at hiding). We will definitely be booking with her for future trips!”

“Arantxa is so sweet, reliable, caring, and engaging! From her updates and interactions with my dog and cat I can tell that she genuinely cares about animals and treats my pets as if they were her own. my dog just absolutely adores her and my cat never comes out for anyone- but Arantxa made the cut 🥰 She is the best. I’ll definitely be booking her in the future! Thank you for all that you do for my fur babies Aranxta 🩷”

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, and I currently have a 5 year old Balinese cat named Willow who is my emotional support animal. Growing up on an island without veterinary access, I developed a deep empathy for animals, especially strays who don't always get the love they deserve. That experience shaped how I show up for every pet I care for. I believe all animals deserve kindness and care, and I'd be honored to provide that for yours when you need it! I'm currently a college student with classes Monday through Thursday. Mondays and Wednesdays I'm busy from 11–5, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10–1. Outside of those hours I have a lot of flexibility, making me available for morning, evening, and weekend drop-ins and walks! For drop-ins and walks, your pet's safety and comfort in their own home is my top priority. I'll always follow your specific instructions for feeding, playtime, and routines so your pet feels secure and at ease. I'm attentive, reliable, and will send updates so you always know how your fur baby is doing. I have experience with cats and dogs of all personalities and will treat your home and pet with the utmost care and respect.
“Addison did a great job with Archer! I got plenty of updates and photos from her while I was on a work trip, and I could tell he was having a great time during her drop ins. I’ll definitely rebook with her again!”

“Hillary is fabulous! We’re so grateful for the great care our two dogs received during the drop-in visits! They were happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable. We really appreciated the updates and photos — it gave us such peace of mind. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!”

“Zoe was wonderful with my cat! She gave me constant updates and always sent multiple pictures. If there were any concerns or questions while she was there, she came up with solutions easily and always communicated with me. She gave all her love and attention to my cat while I was gone and I could not recommend her more!”

About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs my entire life and currently have four of my own—two Labs, a German Shepherd, and a German Shepherd/Argentine Dogo mix. I’ve raised all of them from puppies, so I’m very comfortable with training basics, high-energy play, and establishing consistent routines. Most of my experience is with large, high-energy breeds, but I’ve also house-sat and cared for smaller dogs, including Chihuahuas. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and comfort level, and I always take the time to meet them where they are. I also have extensive experience with senior dogs. My German Shepherds are currently 12 and 13 years old, so I’m familiar with slower-paced walks, extra patience, and providing gentle, attentive care. I’ve administered oral pill medications and am comfortable following specific care instructions. Anxiety-aware care is very important to me. One of my own dogs experiences anxiety and takes supplements, so I’m patient, observant, and calm with nervous or anxious pets. I focus on creating a peaceful, reassuring environment and sticking to routines that help pets feel secure. I’m a naturally calm and nurturing person and truly enjoy long walks, quality playtime, and quiet companionship. I work part-time (about 25 hours per week), and outside of that my schedule is very flexible. I’m especially available early mornings and evenings, and I have at least three fully open days each week. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll treat your dog like my own and make sure you feel confident and updated—I love sending photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I work part-time (about 25 hours per week), which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m consistently available in the early mornings and evenings, and I have at least three days each week with completely open availability. This allows me to accommodate regular walks, drop-in visits, and last-minute requests when needed. I’m reliable, responsive, and happy to work around your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During walks and drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s routine closely and take the time to understand their individual needs, personality, and any special instructions. I’m especially attentive with senior dogs, anxious pets, and high-energy breeds, making sure they feel secure and supported. I use secure leashes and harnesses as directed, stay aware of surroundings at all times, and adjust walk length and pace based on your pet’s age, energy level, and weather conditions. In your home, I respect your space and make sure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured before and after visits. I have experience with anxious dogs and understand the importance of calm, predictable care. I approach pets patiently, avoid overstimulation, and maintain a peaceful environment to help them feel at ease. I’m also comfortable administering oral pill medications and following detailed care instructions. Clear communication is very important to me. I provide photo updates and notes after each visit so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.
“Sierra did a great job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. We got lots of pictures of him playing and getting treats and pets. I will definitely be booking with Sierra again!”

About: I have several years of experience caring for pets including walking them, feeding them, giving them their medication, and transporting them to appointments. I also have experience working with senior pets. My job has a very flexible schedule so I am typically available during the day to walk and care for your pets! I am also available weekends to watch your pets while you're out of town. I am a huge animal lover and have two dogs of my own at home. I understand your pet is an extension of your family, therefore, I strive to provide the best quality of care for each of my clients.

“Hated to see Carol leave Athens. She was always great to work with, good communicator, reliable and most importantly loved by my pup. Relied upon her multiple times for drop-ins to help out when away for extended periods so my dog was not stuck inside all day. Highly recommend.”

“Daeron was incredibly punctual and followed instructions with care. So sweet and patient with my cat, and I loved that they took the time to play with Teddy. I felt completely at ease knowing he was so well cared for. I would be happy to have Daeron watch him again!”

“Fantastic work! Ramajana got along with our cats right away, even our shy kitty. She was very communicative and reliable offering peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend her!”

“This is my second time booking Olha and I am very happy with her services. She has been attentive to my cats' needs and shared several pictures as well. I felt better about being away from my home knowing that she was taking care of them.”

“Meg did a great job with my kitty cats! I’ve had her as a sitter two times so far, and I’ve always come home to happy healthy kitties and a clean home. She’s good about replying quickly, and about sending pictures of them at each visit (even got some action shots of play time!). She did everything that I asked (fed them, gave them clean water, cleaned the litter box, and played with them), plus she even took out the trash when it got full! Overall I would recommend Meg as a sitter :)”

About: Me and pets…we just get each other, you know? I’ve been taking care of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, turtles, geckos, and more since I was a child. (Before I go on, both of my cats are currently staying with my parents — so I have plenty of room for your pet!) I’m close to my sister, and her senior pug, Lola, and new puppy, Ruby, are my sweet nieces — I’ve cared for them like they’re my own many times over the years. (I can’t wait to get my own dog someday!) I also love to foster all kinds of animals, from puppies to new cat moms and their 8 tiny kittens. In fact, I adopted my second cat, Dusty, after fostering and falling in love with her from APA three years ago. I adopted my senior cat, Minerva, almost 14 years ago from a Brooklyn shelter. I’m a freelance writer and editor who works from home and loves to be outside, which is why Rover is perfect for me. Whether I’m taking your pup on a long walk (my favorite thing in the world) or cuddling up with your kitty at home, I’m excited to meet your furry best friend! I’m a freelance writer who works from home and sets my own schedule. I also don’t currently have pets in my home. So I have a lot of flexibility to visit your home, take your pet on walks, or host them in my home! My home is currently pet free and safe and ready to welcome your pet. They can even sleep in the bed if they feel like cuddling!
“Sydney watched Miso while we went away for a 6 day vacation. She took very good care of him and gave us great updates while we were away. She gave us a lot of peace of mind while Miso was alone. She is great at trying to get him to interact (he’s a little shy) and she went above and beyond and cleaned up a mess when Miso knocked his feeder over.”

“Amanda is a great communicator, keeping me updated each day. My cats didn't seem too excited to see me so I know she did a great job of keeping them well-fed and happy. Will use Amanda again!”

“Caroline did a great job checking in with my kitty! When I leave my cat alone she gets stressed out and lets me know when I get back by acting out. Caroline was able to reduce her stress when I had to leave (in the middle of moving in) and my kitty was happy and well behaved when I got back. I loved all of the photos she sent each check-in and knowing she was being cared for. Will be booking with her again!”

West University pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley is a great cat sitter! This is the second time she has watched my kitties, and from the pictures it’s clear that they are super comfortable, which usually takes a while for them. I appreciate you playing with them (especially the laser pointer) and giving them cuddles! Will definitely book again :)

Loren was a phenomenal sitter! I have a very nervous and anxious doggie with very bad separation anxiety when I am not around and she was able to handle him to the best of her ability and keep me consistently updated on his behavior throughout the time I was away on a work trip. My doggie can get aggressive when he is scared and Loren had impeccable patience with him and tried to make him as comfortable as possible under her care. I had full confidence that I would come home to a happy and healthy pet at the end of my trip thanks to Loren and her partner Lailah. I can’t thank you enough!

Hillary is fabulous! We’re so grateful for the great care our two dogs received during the drop-in visits! They were happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable. We really appreciated the updates and photos — it gave us such peace of mind. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!
