I have experience training dogs and everything that comes with pet care. I am currently a full time student at the University of Texas at Austin. With my class schedule and proximity to campus I have no problem working around my schedule to provide awesome pet care. I have no pets in my college apartment but have much experience bonding with animals. I have access to a large fenced yard and beautiful public parks for your dog to accompany me on my daily walks/runs.

About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a child and just moved back to Austin (Seaholm) in Feb 2025.I am looking forward to loving on and caring for your precious ones and would love to take them on as many outdoor adventures as they desire as I live in Seaholm just two blocks away from all the trails and dog parks by the lakes. I also have my own very sweet puppers, Obi Wan, who is a coonhound/retriever mix and he has never met a dog he doesn’t get along with (he’s a true beta and follower- def not a leader of the pack!)! I currently work remotely for a tech company and have only a few calls during the day, leaving me ample amounts of time for frequent potty breaks, playtime and walks! We love hitting the trails here around Town Lake and playing in the off leash dog park with an obstacle course behind my building. I have a large first floor apartment in Seaholm right next to all of the wonderful trails and dog parks around Town Lake. We love taking it easy and enjoying naps or relaxation just as much as we love our outdoor adventures and playtime!

About: ABOUT ME: Hello, my name is Janessa and I’m currently a 3rd-year Nursing student at UT Austin. Before I moved to college, I owned 3 Bengals, 1 American Bulldog, 1 Bullypit (English Bulldog + Pitbull Mix), that I often still see during holiday breaks. Along with pet-owning, throughout high school I was a volunteer for Houston SPCA which involved duties such as feeding, grooming, and socializing with the sheltered animals to prepare for their adoption. BOARDING: **ALL PETS MUST HAVE PROOF OF UP-TO-DATE RABIES VACCINATION** -Free Pickup/Dropoff if within a 10-mile radius :) I’m currently on summer break to do Rover full-time and have no plans of any further travel within the next couple months, so all boarded pets will have my full attention and proper care. I live in an apartment by myself and will provide daily walks for your pets, however as Austin weather can be intensive during the summer, please let me know your preference if you don't want your pet outdoors for a certain amount of time. Additionally, I usually let boarded pets roam freely around my apartment, however if you prefer to have your pet crated during sleep-hours, please let me know and I will accommodate that for you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about boarding, I will also gladly send photos of my boarding setup for your dog and/or cat. -To ensure your pet's well-being during our time together, please inform me of any of the following: -Medical Conditions: Please share any current or past health issues that I should be concerned about when boarding your pet, including allergies, chronic illnesses, or conditions like ringworm or fleas. -Restrictions: Let me know about any food sensitivities, special diets, or feeding schedules. -Medications: Provide details on any medications your pet is taking, including dosage and administration times. -Behavioral Considerations: Inform me of any behavioral quirks or triggers, such as fear of thunderstorms or separation anxiety. ALL SERVICES: Since I’m doing this full-time over the summer, I will try my hardest to meet any special requests so please feel free to reach out for any questions or concerns regarding my services! I understand that pricing is an important factor when selecting a caregiver for your pet. If you have concerns about the listed rates, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm open to discussing and finding a price that feels fair for both of us. It's important to note that almost 50% of earnings are allocated to platform fees and taxes. With this in mind, I'm happy to explore options that accommodate your budget while ensuring quality care for your pet. Please feel free to message me, and let's see how we can work together to meet your needs. I am currently on summer-break with a flexible schedule to meet yours and will be doing Rover full-time! All animals under my care will have my full attention and I will do my best to accommodate any special requests. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible including feeding schedules, walk times, play, and any special needs or medications. I make sure your pet feels secure in their own environment by keeping things clean, calm, and stress-free. When caring for pets in my own home, I offer a warm, pet-friendly space with lots of attention, supervised play, and quiet time as needed. I always separate pets if necessary for safety and ensure everyone is comfortable. Communication is key, so I send regular updates and photos to keep you connected to your pet while you're away. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and cared for just like they would with you.
