I have over 5 years of firsthand experience caring for my own dog, from everyday care and exercise to training, playtime, and all the little things that make each pet feel happy and at home. I have had bunnies and birds before and know how to take care of them! I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs! I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life, and I am a big animal lover. I’ve successfully trained 2 puppies. I have many years of sitting and walking experience, professionally and otherwise. My dog is very friendly and well-socialized. I work from home so I’m available around the clock for the most part. For me, playing with pets is a wonderful stress reliever so we both get something beneficial out of it. I live in a neighborhood with safe walking paths with plenty of shade. I also have nearby dog parks, weather permitting. I have a big privacy-fenced backyard. I have gates and ways of partitioning space in my house and yard to accommodate special needs. I am a retired ICU nurse, so I am diligent about health and safety and very capable of administering medications as needed.
