About: I am the ultimate dog lover who will love on your baby!! I have had dogs my whole life, and never lived without one. We have two dogs currently, one is an XL Newfoundland dog who needs special care (hips), so I am well equipped to work with any type of dog. We have a massive fenced in backyard for playtime, and your pup will be included in our 2 pack walks per day. My husband and I work from home, so your pup will rarely be left alone during the day. I work from home full-time, so I am around the house for company and walks throughout the day. Our dogs typically get 2-3 walks a day plus playtime in our massive backyard! I have two dogs to keep yours company, so he/she will never feel alone or bored. I will treat your pup as if he/she were mine… lots of TLC and belly scratches!

About: Life-long pet person and sitter. New to Rover, but have years of experience sitting for neighbors and friends - references available upon request! I became the "handler" for our family puppies in obedience classes at age 7, and have raised 2 rescues as an adult, who were cherished members of our family. I have been sitting more frequently since my catahoula-mix passed away at an elderly 15 earlier this year - my family is not yet ready for our next forever-dog, but will treasure our time with yours! When I'm not pet sitting, I foster for AAC, including medical-needs and behavior-challenged pups. My home also includes my animal-loving 16yo son who's happy to provide extra snuggles if your pet is interested. We're also currently caring for my adult son's cat, but have adequate space to keep pets separated if neccesary I currently work from home (part-time and with a flexible schedule) so when I'm sitting my days can be structured to fully match your routine. My typical dog day includes long walks (weather permitting), active play in my fenced yard and home, and all the snuggles your pup would like. I have a cozy home and secure fenced yard for playtime. I'm experienced with puppies, and my home can be fully puppy-proofed as needed. I'm experienced with medical-needs puppies and elderly dogs - happy to administer oral medications and monitor conditions as needed. I'm also experienced with positive reinforcement training - while I'm not equipped to sit for dogs with serious aggression, I'm happy to take on normal puppy challenges and low-level fence/leash reactivity as long as you fully disclose and share any training routines in advance. I'll ask for details on any health issues or sensitivities, and make sure your pup is safe and happy in my care!

About: Hi, I’m Maggie I’m a lover of all kinds of animals. I’m a rover pet-sitting veteran, coming back after being on a long break due to a busy work schedule and very senior pup. I’m excited to be back and make some new furry friends. I have 2 English Springer Spaniels that are mostly well-trained, incredibly friendly, and like to play hard, and I also have a cat who enjoys the confines of the master closet but comes out on occasion for snacks and love. (They stay home with my husband while I'm housesitting.) BUT being that I’m a pet owner who dedicates a lot of my time and energy to making sure my pets have the best life ever, I understand what it’s like to leave your pet at home while you travel and how stress-inducing that can be for both pet and owner. So my goal as a pet sitter is to make sure your pet gets lots of love and the same care they would receive while you’re home, and you will receive as much communication and updates as you wish. Some add'l info: - I offer dog sitting during the day and overnights at my place for select dogs. - My housesitting fee $100/n is for up to 3 dogs. Any pets after will be additional. Shoot me a message if you have any questions! I work from home so I have a pretty flexible schedule throughout the day. I do prefer to walk dogs early in the mornings and evenings in the summer, but if you live an an apartment I understand the challenge. I take the same safety precautions I would with my own pets, I’m pretty good at following rules and making sure anything not pet friendly is out of reach. I do have a fenced in yard.
