About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have cared for over five dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages with my family. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!

About: I've had dogs of all sizes my whole life. We cared for a senior dog who lived to 17, and now have a 9 year old dachshund and 4 yr old small dog mix. I am a full-time at-home dog mom, with lots of time to walk and play with pups. There is a park a block or two away from our home that we walk our pup to just about every day (when it's not too hot for him). I am a nurse and have a lot of experience caring for people, but animals are a special treat to care for. I am home full-time, with only occasional trips out. I do some part-time remote consulting, but have plenty of time throughout the day to play with and care for pets. My husband works from home full-time and loves interacting with animals too. We have no children. We have a fenced backyard and a 15lb dachshund who likes to play, but can also be kept upstairs with my husband if your dog prefers to be an only dog.
