About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little boy and I age always loved all my pets. I love matching their energy and giving them the love they want and need. Currently, I'm going to school and I have a lot of time before and after school to hang out with any ones pets. I love getting up in the morning and hanging out with my cat so I believe that I would love to do the same with other pets. I love giving time to my cat. She's extremely curious and loving hiding in tiny areas of my apartment. I recently finish reorganized my room so that she has a bigger area to explore.

About: I had my boy Shep for 10 amazing years. We rescued him when we lived in Chicago in 2017. on August 8th, at 1:17AM we had to put him to sleep because of an uncurable heart condition that was giving him a massive blood build up around his heart. Sheppy taught me how to be a more patient individual and man was he stubborn! I am not ready yet to own another dog or two but I am ready to care for someone elses dog. I have had dogs since I was born but Shep was my first dog as an adult and everyday is a struggle without him candidly. This is mutually beneficial as I get to play and care for a pup and they get to give me a sense of routine. I do not disciminate against any dogs. All dogs need love and my boy shep was a perfect mutt. I miss him everyday but I am ready to love again! I work from home in tech! I am always home and always available to give walks 2-3 times a day and have a huge front and back yard fully fenced in. We have left over toys and balls from Shep so if your dog loves to play fetch, fetch we shall! I am not a believer in animals not allowed on the furniture. Dogs in this house sit where they please! We are very clean and tidy and my wife and I LOVE dogs. There was truly nothing more important to me than Shep, and my wife. Shep was cared for greatly until the very end. I held his paw as he crossed the rainbow bridge. We fed him organic food, 3 walks a day, fetch, the works! I would love to share this love I had for Shep with any other dog willing to have it.

Dogs are fed twice a day (that can be modified if necessary) have a relatively stable routine of eating, playing, walking, napping, sunning, eating, playing, napping, walking. If your pup has special needs, separation anxiety, or behavior related to being in another place, let me know! We can work together to ensure your dog doesn’t have behaviors that would hurt himself or harm property and ensure they have a relaxing time with us. I want your dog to be relaxed, chill, and be so excited to come to our house when y'all are busy or out of town. I can give subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, medication, basic first aid if necessary. Since most dogs don't LOVE younger kids, we ask for a meet and greet if you aren't sure about your dogs behavior with a kid and to make sure the vibe is good with Goober. but if your dog is comfortable with kids or we've sat for you before, then just book us! But I'm very cautious with all dogs and kids since MOST dogs find being around children stressful (that being said, PLEASE leash your dogs when you are around children in public parks and playgrounds and always supervise kids and dogs :) My son is educated in bite prevention and respecting dogs, but I'm very careful! I usually ask all non-neutered/spayed or not-yet neutered/spayed dogs and male dogs who have a history of marking to bring a belly band to have on hand so that my 100-year-old original hardwood floors and my cheap amazon carpets don't get tinkled on. Most male dogs do mark in the house initially since there is a another male dog in the house. It just makes the visit go smoother and is good to have on hand anyway. Easy to get one delivered by Chewy too in prep for an upcoming stay. I work from home so the doggie will rarely be home alone and if I do have to go somewhere, I'll schedule them to nap while I'm gone in between play sessions. Please ensure your dog is crate trained and provide a crate (if you don't have one, I do have some). If you dog prefers to be gated in a place like a bathroom or laundry room, I have gates too. Kongs/Woof toys will be given whenever I leave so it actually is an enrichment time for them. I try not to leave new dogs home alone until they are comfortable in the house- I want them to have a good stay! And if I do I often bring them for a car ride. Here is a recent schedule from a sit I did: 6:30-7:30 am: Wake Up, Backyard Play Time, Breakfast 7:30 - 9 am: Play and Morning Walk 9 - 9:30 am: Enrichment in crate (Woof) 9:30 am - 12 pm: Morning Nap (in crate) Between 12 pm - 2 pm: Indoor Play and Outdoor backyard time 2 - 2:30 pm: Enrichment in crate (Woof) 2:30 pm - 5 pm: Afternoon Nap (in crate) 5 - 6:30 pm: Backyard play and indoor play 6:30 pm - 8 pm: Evening Walk 8 pm and on: Bedtime (in crate) The safety of the humans are the utmost priority for our household, that is why we ask for a meet and greet if you are unsure how your dog will be in our house. But we do hope to build long term sitting relationships with folks because we do really love dogs and Goober does get lonely and wants his buddies. It is essential that my clients entrust me in taking the best care of your dog, and I think you'll get to know me quickly that the dogs truly have "the life" at my house. The environment is dog safe, with a fenced in back yard, and the house is kid/dog proof. There ARE chickens but they have a separate, secure run and will not be coming into contact with your dog. Goober tries to catch them and then pluck the feathers out of their butt, so as long as your dog isn't a "proven" chicken killer, we should be good. If your dog is like Goober and has a strong prey drive and looking for a snack, I just keep the chickens in their coop when your dog is out in the backyard (usually dogs get backyard morning and evening. Chickens get their run during the day). Let me know if you dog can scale a 4 ft. fence!

About: I’m a real estate agent so my schedule is super flexible! I just love spending my extra time with cute dogs and cats. Animals have been a huge part of my life since I got my first dog at six years old, and today my three cats happily run the household. Friends know me as the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people, usually on the floor doing what we jokingly call "pet yoga" with whichever dog or cat wants to join. I have a special soft spot for rescue animals, senior pets, and those who need a little extra patience and understanding. I've supported local rescue organizations for years and even helped transport animals for Austin Pets Alive during the Texas floods. I’ve learned the behaviors of dogs, walk, how to properly give them medication, and shots. I’m currently working on getting my degree in pre-vet, my courses are online. I’m able to watch your fur babies anytime during the week or weekends. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs of my own to keep your fur babies company. My dogs are very social and love new friends. If requested I can crate your pets if needed.
About: I’m a huge animal lover and grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and parrots. I’ve also regularly watched family members’ and friends’ pets while they’re away on trips, so I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, giving pets attention and exercise, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. Having experience with such a wide variety of animals, I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m a recent Texas State University graduate who just moved to Austin, and I’d love to spend my free time caring for pets while getting settled into my new place. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, with patience, attention, and plenty of love! I’m currently available throughout the week and have open availability on weekends. Until September 1st, my schedule is very flexible, so I can accommodate different routines and pet care needs. Starting September 1st, I’ll begin my full time job, but I’ll still be available after around 4–5 PM on weekdays and throughout the weekends. Growing up, my pets were always kept on a consistent schedule, which helped keep them happy, comfortable, and well-adjusted. I would feed them and take them for a walk in the morning around 7 AM, give them additional walks and attention throughout the day, and then feed and walk them again around 7 PM. When caring for your pets, I’ll make sure to follow their normal routines as closely as possible. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll prioritize their safety, comfort, and individual needs while treating them with the same care and attention I would give my own pets.
About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little boy and I age always loved all my pets. I love matching their energy and giving them the love they want and need. Currently, I'm going to school and I have a lot of time before and after school to hang out with any ones pets. I love getting up in the morning and hanging out with my cat so I believe that I would love to do the same with other pets. I love giving time to my cat. She's extremely curious and loving hiding in tiny areas of my apartment. I recently finish reorganized my room so that she has a bigger area to explore.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had my current furry friend for 6 years. He came to us at 4 weeks old & we nursed him to health & potty trained him. I'm *pretty good at fooling him into taking meds when necessary. Always up for a good walk, ball throwing session or just a good belly rub session. I typically work Tues-Sat 11-5, so I'm available before and after. Mondays & Sundays are typically wide open. I don't always work Saturdays so that availability will vary. I can use puzzle games, slow feeders, lick mats, or any other things you have for your pet to give them mental stimulation. I take great pride in leaving a place better than I found it and I’ll be respectful of you, your pet, and your home while I’m visiting.
About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of animals all my life. I have a 9 year old cat and 15 month old dog. They are my pride and joy. I also have experience with elderly dogs and cats. I am currently in between jobs and have plenty of time on my hands. I am available to pet sit all week and most weekends. I live in an apartment complex with a dog park.
