Pet care experience
Home all day and I love dogs!
I've had dogs of all sizes my whole life. We cared for a senior dog who lived to 17, and now have a 9 year old dachshund and 4 yr old small dog mix. I am a full-time at-home dog mom, with lots of time to walk and play with pups. There is a park a block or two away from our home that we walk our pup to just about every day (when it's not too hot for him). I am a nurse and have a lot of experience caring for people, but animals are a special treat to care for.

Emily and her home were FANTASTIC!! beautiful house and perfect sized yard for Tokyo. Great neighborhood. She was understanding and accommodating of puppy energy and worked with Tokyo's needs so he'd be settled. Tokyo is still in training and having understanding sitters like Emily make us feel comfortable leaving our fuzzball with sitters! She had a crate for him to use too, as ours was out of commission. Carlton had a great stay with Emily! He came home tired and Emily sent updates throughout the stay. She was very responsive and made drop off/pick up easy. Carl even got to enjoy a little pool day to beat the summer heat!!
Emily was an incredible host! Great communication coordinating and sharing daily updates while we were away. Based on all the activities and updates she shared, it sounded like my dog had a better vacation than we did! I would highly recommend Emily and her hilarious dog Hugo to anyone else looking for excellent care for their pup!

Schedule
I am home full-time, with only occasional trips out. I do some part-time remote consulting, but have plenty of time throughout the day to play with and care for pets. My husband works from home full-time and loves interacting with animals too. We have no children.

We have a fenced backyard and a 15lb dachshund who likes to play, but can also be kept upstairs with my husband if your dog prefers to be an only dog. Our dog is crate-trained, so we can care for crate-trained dogs and those who are not. We also would take your dog for walks if they like them.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs - our dog loves fetch and tug toys in our back yard. We also are a block or two from Parque Zaragoza, a fun park to explore. We love neighborhood walks too!
