About: On top of being a dog mom myself, I have watched my friends and neighbors' dogs from a couple of days up to 3 months at a time. I love all animals- but especially dogs, and I am experienced with handling a wide array of sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am also very cautious about heat exhaustion and the level of care dogs need when being handled outside. I only board dog(s) from one household at a time to ensure the best quality care. I work from home so I am available to care for your precious pup all day. I stay active by walking usually around 3x per day with my dog. I take frequent breaks to play fetch or practice tricks to keep their minds sharp. Let me know if you are practicing any commands or tricks with your pup so I can integrate that into our routine! I have a fenced-in yard for frequent potty breaks and also have a basic agility course set up for my high energy dog. My partner also works from home and will be available to help care for your pup. We usually go on walks together so that we can give each dog as much attention and time to check the neighborhood pee-mail. I would highly prefer that your dog comes with a crate to ensure his/her safety.

“Kevin has been so helpful with Sir Fozzie. Every Sunday taking him out, playing with, & helping Sir Fozzie get better with canine socialization. I really recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a reliable chill sitter”

“First time using Rover… worked out great. After meeting Asha, I was very confident I had chosen the right dogsitter for my dog Brandi. Brandi is a senior dog and can get nervous if there is too much commotion. Asha provided a very calm space for Brandi. I was able to enjoy my day in Austin not worried about Brandi. Thanks to Asha and Rover”

“Aimee was SO great with my senior doggie! You can tell Aimee genuinely loves animals and cares for them very well in her home. She was extremely communicative and sent photos and videos which I really appreciated. I'll be boarding my doggie with Aimee soon!”

“5 ⭐️s! I’ve been using Rover since 2017, so I’m familiar with the variety of care takers that Rover attracts. If you want a loving, hands on, kind and attentive pet sitter, Manuela is your girl. She watched my pup Xena for the afternoon and Xena loved her so much she didn’t want to leave! Manuela’s pup is playful, kind, and well behaved. The perfect play mate! I highly recommend Manuela as a sitter and I can’t wait to return! Thank you so much 🙏🏾”

“Nash was excellent. 10/10 would hire again. He was extremely professional and courteous, treated our dog like a king, and went above and beyond his dog-sitting duties. Very communicative, timely, and kind. Can’t wait to have Nash take care of our pupper again. It made going out of town so much easier.”

About: Hi, we recently moved from Raleigh to Austin! We're a dog-loving couple with a senior dog named, Ryder. We love furry kids, so we can't wait to love and keep your pup safe, while you're gone. Here are some reasons why we might be a great fit for your pup: - We only sit 1 dog at a time - We both work remotely M-F - We've been on a dog schedule for many years (no sleeping in for us, haha) - Our place is already doggy-proofed 🐶 How would you describe Ryder? Ryder is a calm, curious, and friendly senior dog. He's not one to chase other dogs and doesn't enjoy being chased. He's gotten along with huskies, beagles, and other similar-sized good boys and girls. He's a big couch potato who sleeps most of the day. 🐾 How frequently can you take my dog out? Since we work from home, we're able to take your dog out for potty breaks every 3 to 4 hours, with long walks in between—if your dog's endurance allows it. 🏠 Do you ever leave the dogs home alone? We both try to stay home when sitting a dog. If we need to briefly step out, we give the dogs have their own separate and safe spaces. Ryder will hangout in the bedroom with his sound machine on and the door locked (which he loves), while your dog enjoys free roam of the living room. 💛 Are you able to cater to my dog’s special needs? We’re happy to accommodate special requests like: feeding dogs separately to ensure meal times are safe, refraining from vacuuming if your dog's scared of noise, putting shoes away if your dog's a little shoe snacker (haha), etc. Please let us know every detail on how we can keep your dog safe and comfortable. 📸 Do you send photo and video updates? We love sharing updates! We send photos and or videos with every booking – usually a couple to few times a day. We know how comforting it is to know your dog's happy. 📪💌🤠 Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. We typically reply back within the hour. Thank you so much! We have a lot of flexibility for schedules, potty breaks, and walks as needed. We try our best to keep your pet's routines to ensure they're comfortable and happy with us. Ryder might be a little guy, but he loves his (short and long) walks and gets about 4-5 of them a day. We have a dog stroller, dog backpacks, and doggy seatbelts for safety if your dog would like to have park days.

“Sydney was great with maple! She gave her treats and a lick mat and Maple had a great time with her pup! She came back at the end of the day very relaxed and happy. I’ve already booked a boarding stay with her for next time!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was a child and love every second with them. I can handle dogs of any size and temperament and love all breeds. I have a large park next to my house as well as several dog parks within walking distance. I love to snuggle, play, and go for walks and work from home! I work full time from home and am usually working from the couch available for pets and attention. I go on walks throughout the day and to the park almost every evening. I live in an apartment and have a small dog park directly across my apartment corridor as well as a large balcony. I’m more than happy to continue any training in progress and will uphold any routines in place.

“Another great visit. I got to meet a couple of Bella Rose’s pals at drop off and pick up. She came home sleepy and contented both days. Glad to have a small dog exclusive option in Austin.”

“We had a last minute cancellation from another Rover and Alessandra was able to watch Ohana within a few hours. She was responsive and sent us photos. Ohana seemed to enjoy her stay. We would use her again.”

“Betty had such a nice visit with Nadine while I went to work for the day. She was taken on plenty of walks and had lots of cuddles/attention. Her dogs are well behaved and got a long great with Betty! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter :)”

“Adnan is not just an excellent dog parent, but he’s just a great human being. I was incredibly nervous about leaving my dog for the first time, and he took time to listen to why I was anxious, answer any questions I had, provided info I needed, and sent updates on my dog throughout the stay. I absolutely trust Adnan with my dog and recommend him to anyone wanting doggy daycare of boarding. 10/10 experience!”

About: I have a 5-year-old super friendly bernedoodle named Arthur! My husband and I have had him since he was 8 weeks old. We’d love to have your own dog come and hang out with us. We are looking to accept dogs that have no history of aggression and that are friendly with other animals as well as children since we have a toddler. Also a note, for some reason Pitbulls and German shepherds have shown aggression towards Arthur in the past pretty consistently, so we are more hesitant to accept these breeds because of this! I work from home full time and am able to watch your dog from 8:30-4:30. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can let the dogs outside and keep an eye on them while I’m home. We have a fenced in yard that is very secure. It’s a big yard that wraps around both sides of the house. Our dog loves it and we know yours will too!

13. Becca & Matt S.

“Let me just start by saying, Becca is a 11/10 sitter. When my pup Luca was adopted, I quickly realized he had severe separation anxiety and could not be left alone. Thankfully I found Becca who has made mine and my pup Luca’s life a million times better. She truly is a dog whisperer and immediately made Luca feel safe, comfortable, and happy! Her home is spotless, she provides lots of updates and photos, and treats Luca like her own by providing lots of walks and cuddles. Becca has calm, warm energy which is so important for dogs to feel comfortable. She is clearly a dog-lover and that shines through every time she sees Luca. As a self-described helicopter mom to Luca, it’s the best feeling to actually enjoy being away because I know he’s genuinely happy and safe with her. Becca is an A+ sitter who I highly recommend,”
