From playful puppies to sweet senior dogs, I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs and personality. I love spending time playing, walking, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Joel gave daily updates on my dogs and was sweet about doing slow introductions with my dogs and his cats. Very communicative and’s easy to work with for drop off and pick up. It also helps that he works from home because my dog can be quite anxious and I also appreciate that he only watched my dogs, so I didn’t have to be nervous about what may happen with other rover dogs as well. Will book again. Thank you Joel!

Joel took excellent care of our lil guy. He sent frequent updates and made sure Junji was okay around the cats. I was nervous that Junji would be curious about the cats but Joel put me at ease. It was great to see my dog just lounging with his cat on the balcony. Too cute!
I can not put into words just how great Joel is. He is super reliable, great at communicating, and Molly loves him! Molly being so comfortable really makes me comfortable to have her stay with him. We appreciate you so much!

Schedule
I work remotely full-time, which which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout their stay. My daily routine is flexible, so I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, cuddle time, medication routines, and regular check-ins. I like to keep each pet’s routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Whether they need active play, quiet company, extra patience, or a calm space to relax, I do my best to adjust my day around their comfort and needs!

I live in a spacious apartment that offers plenty of room for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well supervised! I got my two friendly American Shorthair cats at home, so I’m very mindful about introductions, boundaries, and each pet’s comfort level. I always take time to understand how each pet does around other animals! If a pet needs their own space, quiet time, or a slower introduction, I make sure they have a calm area where they can relax. I keep the environment clean, organized, and peaceful so every pet feels cared for during their stay!

A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s personality, routine, and energy level! For example, for dogs, I provide potty breaks, playtime, attention, and multiple walks throughout the day. Some dogs love exploring outside, playing with toys, or enjoying a game of fetch or tug, while others prefer calm company, naps, and belly rubs! For cats, I like to give them time to feel comfortable first, then offer playtime with toys like lasers, balls, and toy mice if they are interested. Some cats are playful right away, while others need quiet space and gentle attention. I always try to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so their day feels familiar, safe, and comfortable while they are with me.
