My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I have a flexible remote work schedule allowing me to spend lots of time with your pet. I've owned and cared for pets throughout my life. My experience includes dogs and small animals such as fish, guinea pigs, chickens, and mice. Happy to work with anxious/timid or high energy dogs. I'm comfortable with positive reinforcement training, creative medication administration, crate rest, prescription diets, etc. Corrah, my sweet rescue pup, loves to play with other dogs her own size and has a patient, submissive personality. Today she's a happy, healthy dog, but together we've worked through separation anxiety, orthopedic surgeries, environmental allergies, food sensitivities, and more. When I am housesitting, she stays home with my partner so I can focus on your pets. I have lots of patience and attentiveness, and I'll keep you well updated with any concerns that may arise.

Alice is the best with our girl Rue. We can always leave her feeling at ease knowing she is in the best hands. The updates and photos are always very uplifting when we are away.
Alice was great ! Flexible and understanding with last minute booking and changes. She sent pictures of Tokyo having so much fun and made sure he got his very important naps. Cute fenced yard, didn't see the inside. Her dog Cora was beyond sweet and understanding and was great with Tokyo teaching him politely when to settle down. Would love her to sit Tokyo again.
Alice was amazing! She was very thorough, sent check ins throughout the day, and was very responsive! We had a brief playdate prior to make sure our pup Beaux got along well with her pup Corrah. The next day at drop off, Beaux happily went with Alice giving us a peace of mind that he felt happy and safe with her! Beaux clearly loved his time with Alice and Corrah. We will definitely be working with her again!
Alice is great! She has an uncanny talent to take pictures of J-dawg when he’s making a goofy face. It always makes my day
Alice is so great with my pup, I know he will be taken care of when she is with her and have lots of fun with her dog Corrah as well.

Schedule
My schedule allows me to work from your home during the day or walk/check in on your pet at your home as often as every 3-4 hrs. I'll always provide lots of photos and daily updates (or more if requested!).

Safety, trust & environment
Drop-Ins/Walks: If scheduling pet care while you are out of town, I require at least 2 visits per day to ensure your pet receives adequate care. If you would prefer 3-4 shorter drop ins per day, we can discuss booking at my house-sitting rate. If you live over 2 miles away, a small travel charge may apply. House Sitting: I am happy to keep your pets company in your home throughout the day if you provide WiFi access, or I can provide frequent drop ins according to your dog's needs/routine. Since I sometimes have weekend/evening commitments, please let me know if your pet cannot be left alone at least 4 hrs (additional charges may apply). Unless otherwise discussed, I'll plan on spending the night. Please disclose cameras inside your home and anyone else who may be present during my stay (roommates, contractors, housekeeping, etc). Boarding/Daycare: First time boarding will always require a meet & greet before booking, so we can chat in person and see how our dogs get along. For stays longer than 3 nights, we'll discuss a trial booking (daycare or 1 night boarding). After you drop off your dog (for either boarding and daycare), I'll start their visit with a walk to give our dogs time to get reacquainted and ease the transition. Dogs in our home will be supervised when playing together and have their own space to decompress separately. Your pup will have frequent access to our large fenced yard and supervision while I work from home during the day. If you request boarding or daycare in our home, your pup will be able to play in our huge fenced backyard with our dog as a playmate. Our backyard has a 6 ft wood fence and we have a separately gated 4ft fence around our front yard. Please let us know if your dog has a history of escaping or reactivity towards cats or other dogs. Additional info: I carry pet care insurance for your peace of mind (additional info upon request).

A typical day
Love taking dogs on stimulating walks with lots of opportunities for sniffing, exploring, and exercise. I'll also keep your dogs company indoors for a more relaxed experience or when the weather isn't cooperating. Every dog is unique and deserves customized schedule for their individual needs. For an additional fee, I'll also bring your pup to your preferred groomer, on hiking adventures, or provide transportation for ad hoc needs.
