“Maggie was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to my initial inquiry. She was flexible on scheduling, which I appreciated. She is clearly a “dog person” and quickly established rapport with our dog. I felt very secure with our dog in her care. We will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Jana is very responsive and accommodating. She has been great with our dog and treats him like her own. We would happily book her for all our future dog walking needs.”

About: I am a 20 year old college student home for the summer. I helped care for my beloved childhood dog for 13 years before he passed last march. Our house is empty now and I would love to care for your dog! I also have a year of experience volunteering at a dog shelter where I fed, walked, bathed, and helped socialize the dogs. I am a dog lover and would give your dog lots of love! I will be able to walk dogs anytime before 3pm all days except Saturday. For boarding, I am living with my parents so they and/or my partner will be able to step in to help care for your dog when I am away at work. I can also offer morning/afternoon day care anytime before 3pm. I will have plenty of time in the morning and afternoon to play with your fur baby! I have an unfenced yard out front, but can walk your dog leashed around the neighborhood and in the front yard! I live in a single family home with no other pets. I have dog toys, leashes, and dishes for food and water. I do not have a crate or pen, so this will need to be provided if needed for your dog. Preferably non shedding dogs for boarding.

“Today was my first time with lace G. And my pit bull was very happy. I will definitely be booking another walk. She was very friendly and knowledgable.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life - whether they are my own or someone else's. Dogs always gravitated toward my dad (a definite whisperer) and they are the same way with me. Your dog will be treated like my own - they will come back tired and happy. I will ensure they are always in situations in which they are safe and comfortable. I will go above and beyond to make sure that your dog's experience is a great one! I am a full time teacher, but a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am available all day during the summer for drop-ins and long walks. During the school year, I can drop-by and do walks before 8 am and after 3pm. Longer visits and walks will be offered in the afternoons and evenings during the school year. Your dog will be given plenty of well deserved attention. They will get many pats and scratches (plenty of love), lots of playtime, will stay well hydrated, and will be plenty tired from their long walk/hike.

About: Last Summer I worked at the zoo as a keeper’s aid in the children zoo farm. I worked with all sorts of animals, but especially with the petting zoo goats. Goats are a lot more like dogs (and some cats) than you might think I’ve walked a goat who did not want to be walked, dogs aren’t so bad I also have experience doing visits for friends’ cats and my neighbor’s dog My own dog Pepper can be quite stubborn (though I love her regardless), so I’ve learned to be patient I love animals, and they tend to like me This is my last Summer before college, and while I am currently looking for a part time job my schedule is mostly free right now! If you’re looking for consistent daily or weekly walks, you can get that on my schedule now even if it’s at an odd time I always introduce myself to animals gently and try to gain their trust before I get to what needs getting to for more outgoing animals that can be pretty fast, but I’m not afraid to be patient and move slowly I’m well versed in all the basics (cleaning litterboxes, walking dogs, etc.), and a quick learner if your pet has any additional needs :)

About: I’ve had my amazing dog Nalu for almost 5 years and have also been a dog walker for people in my life and neighborhood for multiple years. I love all animals, especially dogs! I am a college student home for the summer and I have a lot of free time when I’m not working so dog walking fits perfectly into my routine! I love being around dogs and I love being outside and walking so it works out perfectly. My dog is pretty well trained so when we go outside she doesn’t need a leash. I leash her when we walk on the roads or in mandatory areas. I am comfortable with dealing with new dogs and new personalities.

About: As an animal lover of all kinds from Guinea pigs to Great Danes, I have 10 years of experience taking care of my own dog and Guinea pigs as well as a year of experience in Emergency and Intensive Veterinary Care working as a Vet Tech Assistant at one of the higher ranked animal hospitals in Connecticut. I have experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs of all ages and in all different conditions of health. I am trained in animal CPR, Care (cage cleanings, food, water, etc.), walks every 2-4 hours, and more! So if your pet makes a mess or needs a little extra love - there's nothing I can't handle! I am currently home from college for the summer, so I am free most days of the week Mondays through Fridays, from extremely early mornings to later nights! *I will not be in the United States from June 20th until July 5th as I will be visiting family abroad :) In my own home, I have a dog and a guinea pig - this means frequent walks, feedings, plenty of play time and love, cage cleanings, enrichment, nail trimmings (only done by self on guinea pig), and baths every so often. I am of course going to treat your pet as I would my own, not just with plenty of love, but if there are any services you would like done while I am with your pet, let me know!

“Friendly and reliable! Excellent walker!”

About: I have had 3 cats since I was 5 years old and currently have 2! I have taken care of my neighbors dogs, going for walks, feeding, playing, cuddling, etc. I also cat sit for friends and neighbors. I am currently a commuter student at Emmanuel College as a freshman, so I have free time in the afternoons after my classes for part time work! I have 2 cats right now and adore them! I am very experienced with them as well as dogs. I dog sat everyday for 1.5 years, a 1 year old Golden Retriever. I would go on 30-45 minute walks as well as spend about 30-40 more minutes in the yard playing with toys as adolescent dogs have so much energy! I would make sure she got water and food as well.

“Ally is very reliable and makes sure Larry has had a good walk with his treats. She seems to truly enjoy caring for dogs.”

“Karissa was awesome and the dogs liked her! She was super flexible with a last minute request and we made it work. Definitely recommend Karissa for walks and drop in visits. Will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: I have been around dogs all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! They completed a five mile hike that has a fairly long and vertical scramble section at 14 years old! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall, I am starting my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability on my calendar. In general, during the Fall and Spring semesters, I will be conducting my practicum on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week, so am only unavailable on those days. Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.

About: I have been taking care of my family's dog for 7 years, and have been taking care of my family friend's pets during my free time Weekends are my free days, so you need time to run errands or have a fun night out, I'm happy to take care of your pets I have a fenced yard so if they need to be dropped off I'm happy to let them run. “This was our first time using Rover and Korri as our dog walker and will never look anywhere else! Korri was fantastic and very dependable. 5 stars!!”

About: Welcome! 🐾 I'm so glad you're here. My name is Sarah D. I've been walking dogs and pet-sitting since 2017. I do other things, too - but petsitting is one of my biggest passions! I love the variety of enjoyable experiences to be had while bonding with cute animals in different places. Sometimes I travel petsit out-of-state just for fun! I love dogs of all ages and sizes - but am especially fond of older dogs. My childhood Jack Russell terrier "Milo" was legendary! I also love cats, and have been fortunate to learn so much about them over the years. Other animals I've cared for: birds, fish, chinchilla, Guinea pigs. I greatly appreciate when clients mention ALL pets in the household upon first contact! I administer topical, oral and subcutaneous medications for both cats and dogs. I can assist with senior dog mobility and at-home management of post-op/illness recovery in cats and dogs (according to your veterinarian's recommendations. Please note that I am NOT a vet tech). I have 7 years of remote administrative experience in veterinary medicine, so I'm very familiar with common veterinary emergencies and how to handle (and ideally AVOID) related scenarios. PLEASE NOTE: I recently stepped away from my career in vetmed to pursue pet-sitting full time!! I have increased availability and will be expanding the services I am able to offer, so please stay tuned :) I am a Fear Free Certified Professional, and I am Pet CPR & First Aid certified through the PetTech PetSaver program. I have a background in psychology, and I use reward-based (positive reinforcement) training and handling to guide my interactions with pets. The more information you are able to share with me about your pet's training and behavioral history, the better I am able to care for them! I worked remotely in vetmed admin for years, but now (by the grace of God) I am a full-time petsitter! I supplement my income with part-time work, which may be remote (so it's super helpful to have your wifi details) or in-person, but typically doesn't last more than 3-4 hours. Please let me know if your beloved pets cannot be left alone at home for 3-4 hours at a time, so I can confirm in advance if my availability will meet their needs! I will take great care of your pets and your home. I will bring in your mail and packages, take out trash and recycling, and keep your home clean and secure. If you need me to water your plants, just let me know their needs and I'll take care of it. Please let me know in advance (if possible) if you expect any visits from housekeepers, contractors, etc.

“Oliver was great and handled my two weirdo dogs very well. I came home to happy pups and he communicated well. I would love to work with him again, thank you so much Oliver!”

About: Hello Pet Parents! My name is Chloe (24 years old), and I have about 7 years of petsitting/housesitting experience. I love your pets as if they were my own, truly providing your pets with the best care possible while you are away. I work from home full-time, so if your pets experience any sort of separation anxiety or require frequent potty breaks, I am your girl. I have trained puppies as early as 4 months old (potty training, leash training, basic commands, etc). I have also provided senior care to 14 year old dogs, administering meds if needed. Some breeds I have worked with include Weimaraners, doodles of all sorts, giant schnauzers, pitbulls, pugs, labs, and mixed breed rescues. I've also taken care of cats and birds. All of my current pet sitting/house sitting is done by word of mouth, so I'm excited to bring my services to Rover! I am available everyday of the week! I work from home part-time, so I'm able to be with your pet throughout the day and night. I provide pet care in the client's home. Your pets deserve the comfort of their own home while they adjust to a new human caring for them.

“Thanks Giuliana for taking care of Harlie with the pick up, the walk and feeding her. She was excited to be back home and it made our life so much easier. You are the best abs I would highly recommend her.”

“Sofia is a great caregiver! She is great at giving long walks, that tire both of my dogs out every time. I would definitely recommend!”

Sophie R.
“I think Sophie would be a a good fit for this job as not only has she worked in emergency care for animals at an animal hospital but she has watched/babysat my dog in the past. Despite my dog being the kind that takes a while to warm up to people they managed to warm up to Sophie with an hour.”

Thomas is so communicative & wonderful with Rogue x 3 whole days! We look forward to their future walkies!

Carmen and Alex are amazing to work with. They are very professional and responsive, and are wonderful with our animals. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets!

If you’re looking for a trustworthy dog walker, Karen is it! We are so grateful to have found Karen to walk Louie, who can be very strong at times. Karen is always punctual, communicates very well, and provides great recaps following each walk. I never have to worry about Louie when Karen walks him as her expertise in dog walking was evident on the day we met. She always has Louie’s best interest in mind and communicates about weather and is flexible with providing alternatives (usually cuddles!) with Louie on days where it’s too hot to be outside for a long period of time. Thanks so much for caring for Louie!

Maggie was the best with Finn!! We are so appreciative of her kindness and patience with our nervous boy. By the end of their time, he loved her! We are so grateful for her!

Madison was great with our anxious pup! We appreciated great communication and care for our challenging little guy.

Michelle is super attentive and did an amazing job with Zulie who immediately felt comfortable to go on a walk.

Delayni came on short notice and took my elderly dog for a lovely stroll. She was very patient with my old girl who needs a little extra gentle encouragement. She gave me great detailed feedback and lots of photos. I would definitely hire her again!
