“Neha is a very sweet girl whom my dog loved on the very first meet. She is very punctual and arrives at the exact time as committed. She takes care of every detailed instruction as provided to take care of the little one. She even arrived at the wee hours of dawn to walk my dog when we had an urgency. I would trust her to take care of my dog in future for sure!”

“Jana started with us this month and has done a wonderful job taking care of our elderly Frenchies. Jana is communicative and takes feedback well, and she’s willing to go the extra mile when we’ve asked for specific things. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you Sean! Sean was amazing with our Aussie Rusty. We were not at home for the week and Sean picked up and dropped off Rusty from our elder parents. They said he was so nice chatting with them, punctual every day, making sure Rusty got his long walks and did his business. Sean sent us a daily report card with photos along the walk and charted out new neighborhoods in our town. Rusty must have loved that! We had a heavy downpour one of the days and Sean took the time to make sure Rusty was all dried up after the walk. It was such a positive experience for us all thanks to Sean and without hesitation we would recommend Sean to any one who want their babies :) cared for when you are away.”

“Maggie was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to my initial inquiry. She was flexible on scheduling, which I appreciated. She is clearly a “dog person” and quickly established rapport with our dog. I felt very secure with our dog in her care. We will definitely rebook in the future!”

“Caroline was great to work with! She was very communicative and worked with me to find a good time to meet my dog and take him for a walk. He was very happy and tired when he got back. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Caroline again!”

About: Hello! My name is Ashley and I love pets. I had a lovely hound dog for 14.5 years and have enjoyed the company of various furry critters. I have experience with reactive dogs, larger dogs and also enjoy spending time with cats. I miss spending time with my pup and other dogs. I enjoy morning and evening walks so would love a chance to take your animal out or spend time with them when you're goine. I love to get to know pets and their personalities and respond to the type of care that make them feel secure and loved. I think a good walk is one where the dog has time to enjoy and sniff and come home feeling ready to rest.

About: From puppies to seniors , I’ve cared for them all. I love animals of all types . I’m reliable and prompt. I have a lil pittie of my own named Kiwi. I will treat your baby as my own. I have a very open schedule right now . I am working 2 days a week but the rest are open for walks . I myself am someone who enjoys walking and loves dogs . This seemed like a perfect fit. Your pet would always be supervised . Your pets safety is my number one priority. I know myself how much I value when I have someone I can trust watching my baby, kiwi.

About: I have been around dogs all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! They completed a five mile hike that has a fairly long and vertical scramble section at 14 years old! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall, I am starting my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability on my calendar. In general, during the Fall and Spring semesters, I will be conducting my practicum on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week, so am only unavailable on those days. Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.

“Karissa was amazing with being able to help out last minute. I lost Khaya over the weekend and wanted Obi to have some time with someone during the day while I was at work ti help get his mind off of everything. Karissa was extremely helpful with him, took him for some walks and gave him a little extra loving. Highly recommend Karissa!”

“Oliver was great and handled my two weirdo dogs very well. I came home to happy pups and he communicated well. I would love to work with him again, thank you so much Oliver!”

“Bailee is one of the BEST dog walkers I’ve ever had. She took my dog out to the dog park in the pouring rain, stayed there the full 30 mins and came back with a huge smile on her face and my dog wagging her tail happily. As she was leaving, my dog was pulling to go after her! It was clear they had an amazing time together :) Overall, your dog will be in the absolute BEST care in her hands. I am so happy with her and definitely will be using her as my dog’s walker regularly!!”

“Thanks Giuliana for taking care of Harlie with the pick up, the walk and feeding her. She was excited to be back home and it made our life so much easier. You are the best abs I would highly recommend her.”

About: Hi, I’m Joel. I live in West Roxbury with my partner and our young tuxedo cat. I’m preparing to welcome my first rescue pup into my family here soon. Before jumping into dog ownership myself, I’m returning to Rover to keep learning and spending time amazing dogs that I’ve loved caring for over the years. I’ve cared for all types of dogs from laid back cuddlers to high energy hikers and sprinters I would bring along on my runs. Whether it’s a weekend adventure or a steady walking schedule, I’m here to give your pup a home away from home. Our cat holds his own around pups. He is curious but keeps his distance and is used to sharing space with easygoing dogs. I currently work from home as a marketing manager so they will have company throughout the day with plenty of time for cuddles, play, and outdoor breaks. I’ve worked with various types of dogs and I find myself adapting to their lifestyle to give them their favorite days, even though they may be away from home.

About: I’ve had my amazing dog Nalu for almost 5 years and have also been a dog walker for people in my life and neighborhood for multiple years. I love all animals, especially dogs! I am a college student home for the summer and I have a lot of free time when I’m not working so dog walking fits perfectly into my routine! I love being around dogs and I love being outside and walking so it works out perfectly. My dog is pretty well trained so when we go outside she doesn’t need a leash. I leash her when we walk on the roads or in mandatory areas. I am comfortable with dealing with new dogs and new personalities.

About: As an animal lover of all kinds from Guinea pigs to Great Danes, I have 10 years of experience taking care of my own dog and Guinea pigs as well as a year of experience in Emergency and Intensive Veterinary Care working as a Vet Tech Assistant at one of the higher ranked animal hospitals in Connecticut. I have experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs of all ages and in all different conditions of health. I am trained in animal CPR, Care (cage cleanings, food, water, etc.), walks every 2-4 hours, and more! So if your pet makes a mess or needs a little extra love - there's nothing I can't handle! I am currently home from college for the summer, so I am free most days of the week Mondays through Fridays, from extremely early mornings to later nights! *I will not be in the United States from June 20th until July 5th as I will be visiting family abroad :) In my own home, I have a dog and a guinea pig - this means frequent walks, feedings, plenty of play time and love, cage cleanings, enrichment, nail trimmings (only done by self on guinea pig), and baths every so often. I am of course going to treat your pet as I would my own, not just with plenty of love, but if there are any services you would like done while I am with your pet, let me know!

“Jamie is my sister and she is always the go to person to watch my dog Milo. She’s the go to person in our family for pretty much everything. Why? It’s because you can always trust that she is competent, knows what to do and very caring. She has been a great foster to rescue dogs in need. Absolutely loves dogs and fantastic with them. Very good with training as well because she’s patient, doesn’t sweat the small stuff (poop and pee, lol) and applies common sense vs harsh correction. Your dog will be in good hands!”

Thomas has been an absolute gem of a dog walker for our pup, Milo! From day one, his communication has been clear, timely, and reassuring — we always knew when walks were happening and how Milo was doing. He’s incredibly reliable and consistent, which gave us so much peace of mind. Even more importantly, it’s obvious how much he genuinely cares about dogs. Milo warmed up to him right away, and it’s been clear from their post-walk photos and updates that he absolutely adores Thomas! We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust with our furry family member. Highly recommend Thomas to anyone looking for a caring, dependable dog walker.

My dog had a fun time with Raymond! It was a hot day so per my instructions they had a shorter walk mixed with more indoor playtime (and my dog loves both so he was a happy boy). Raymond was able to do a meet and greet before the walk which I appreciated. Would definitely use him again!

If you’re looking for a trustworthy dog walker, Karen is it! We are so grateful to have found Karen to walk Louie, who can be very strong at times. Karen is always punctual, communicates very well, and provides great recaps following each walk. I never have to worry about Louie when Karen walks him as her expertise in dog walking was evident on the day we met. She always has Louie’s best interest in mind and communicates about weather and is flexible with providing alternatives (usually cuddles!) with Louie on days where it’s too hot to be outside for a long period of time. Thanks so much for caring for Louie!
