“Susana was great. Showed up to my house, walked Gopher, left a Rover report card with photos and details about whether Gopher pee'd or pooped on the walk. I got to go out for the night without worrying, and I returned home and Gophie was asleep in her bed, happy as can be. : ) I would recommend Susana to anyone looking for a dog walker in the area. In fact, after getting her updates while I was out, I recommended her to two people I was hanging out with. Thanks, Susana!”

About: Hi! I grew up with dogs (golden retriever & pomeranian/chihuahua), and am now lucky to be the dog momma to my 5 yr old best friend, Pumbaa (maltese shihtzu). I absolutely love spending time with pups, and I understand how much we all care about our furry friends. I am attentive, happy to provide updates as much as possible, and want you to have peace of mind when away from your fur baby. I have experience dogsitting for my friends/neighbors, house trained Pumbaa since he was a puppy, and respect that each furry friend has unique personalities. I'd love to be your go-to person to care for your pup/cat/best friend :) I'm currently in-between jobs, so I have plenty of time to set up a daily/weekly/regular schedule with you! I am very flexible and happy to work something out together. Like many New Yorkers, I rely on nearby parks for Pumbaa's potty breaks and outdoor time. I have had experience watching 3 dogs (under <20lbs) simultaneously in my home, and each pup had enough space to play with each other and have their own space.

“Hannah was an amazing rover walker!! she took really good care of my pup and followed the instructions really well. I loved her photos and updates when I was gone! I highly recommend her!!”

“Angela has been walking our dog Murphy on days we have to go into the office ever since we moved to the area in June. She is very kind and cares about our pup! I love the pictures I get from their walks and detailed updates about how Murphy did. It gives us peace of mind knowing he is in good hands with Angela.”

“Kirsten was a great walker. Our dog was always happy to see her and really seemed to enjoy his walks. Kirsten was very accommodating when we requested a meet and greet, and was always punctual and enthusiastic. I definitely recommend her and can look forward to our next vacation knowing our dog will be in good hands.”

About: Hello, I’m Emelin and I’m a very energetic, attentive, and always up for an adventure. Pets are an adventure, you don’t quite always know what to expect for them but whatever comes in the way you must be able to care for them. Similar experience I’ve had was working at a daycare and essentially pets are like your children. They need a lot of care, attention, and entertainment in order to be satisfied which is no problem. When in need I will be readily available to assist you and your pets needs majority of the times. I offer a variety of services in the most efficient and best manner to meet all your needs. I can also be very flexible in order to meet your needs!! I am mostly just studying, I am pretty flexible so I can easily work out a schedule that best fits yours and the pets needs. I have a cat of my own who is very active and requires a lot of attention and have also pet sitted for friend while they have gone away. I am pretty well rounded in the pets needs.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I am currently a dog mom to a French Bulldog and a kitten. I am comfortable providing medicine as well. I work a flexible schedule & have plenty of availability to take care of your baby. I can be available during the week as well as the weekend. I will treat your pets like my own! I will make sure your fur baby is fed, uses the bathroom appropriately & will give lots of playtime & pets if they want that.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college. Either me or husband is always home and your furr babies won’t be home alone for long time unless we are running some errands. I have so much love for cats and dogs. I am a big pet lover. I have no children and either me or my husband is always home as we go to the office on alternative days. I started dog sitting as a college student and I grew to love it so much. I would love to get know your fur baby before sitting them. That way I can provide them with the best care I can give. I used to live in NYC and recently moved to NJ. I don’t have any pets. I live an apartment where they allow pets and we have lots of dogs in the building. I don’t have a yard or a balcony. There is a dog park near by I take them when the weather permits.

About: Growing up, we always had two German shepherds so we had two sets of German shepherds at different periods of time. They were great dogs and they required a lot of activity and later on had health issues which required attention. Previously I’ve had an English bulldog which he did have some behavioral and medical issues that I was able to navigate. My mother and my sister’s have a passion of rescuing dogs so in total they have seven dogs. I’m very comfortable with working with animals, especially dogs and cats. I’m willing to work with a dog that might be more temperamental. I also often pet sit for my two friends cats when they are on vacation and have dog sat friends dogs on several occasions. I work from home on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and I am available on weekends. I work in office on Wednesday and Thursday so I have availability based off of work on those days. I am very diligent about pet care, I’ve had my cat for over 10 years now and I have done any and everything I can to ensure she’s healthy and happy and taking care of in any way that she can. Also, I am a licensed social worker and I work for New York City, so I also have a lot of experience in working with people. I’ve also taken a masters level course on the impact of animals on emotional and mental well-being. I have advocated for and written letters for people who need emotional support animals in a professional setting.

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life—puppies, seniors, big and small. With five months of professional dog walking, I provide reliable, loving, and safe care. I’m available every day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with some flexibility for walks extending until 5:00 p.m. This schedule allows me to fully commit to morning and early afternoon visits, which works well for clients with regular work hours. My consistent availability throughout the week ensures your pet receives dependable, on-time care. I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every dog under my care. Whether at my home or the client’s, I stay focused on each pet’s unique needs, always ensuring their comfort, well-being, and routine are respected. My approach is detailed, reliable, and rooted in years of experience, creating a space where both dogs and their owners feel secure and confident.

About: I’ve had plenty of pets to care for, whether it be my own or family owned. My family has had dogs ranging from Shih-Tzu to Chocolate Labs. I know how to handle puppies with patience and larger more stubborn dogs as well. I’ve trained my own pup with the basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, etc. I read into habits and body language to make sure your pet gets what they need. Being attentive can be the difference between someone who can take care of your pet and someone who actually cares for your pet. Some things to notice can be, sitting next to the door indicating a potty break or which toy is their favorite to play with. Maybe a specific spot they like to hide treats at or lay down in. All these things help to understand our furry friends more creating a fun and functional environment. I’m currently free during the week at almost any time. Commuting in the city is the only thing that takes up time for me which leaves plenty of room in my schedule for your pets care. I do spend weekends with my grandmother so I’m not really available those days. However, overnight care shouldn’t be a problem with me. I understand having a pet with a full time job may be stressful, having to worry if your pet is alright. Or maybe you need to run errands but you just got a new puppy that needs someone around. I can work around most schedules. Considering I have pets of my own, I know the appropriate approach to take with them. Some things are simple, like giving medication with food. Some tasks are harder, like being patient with new potty training puppies. If you have a cat, having someone to make sure curiosity doesn’t get the best of them can put some ease to your mind. Of course making sure those furry friends are comfortable is the most important thing. Establishing trust between us is what creates a bond to ensure the best behavior and care. If you have strict rules about no dogs in the bedroom or on the couch, be sure those will be followed. All precautions are taken upon the first meet and trust is formed along the way to make everyone comfortable.

“Calvin is amazing with our dog and highly recommend him. He’s always flexible and willing to help us out in a crunch when we need unexpected walks for Loot. He’s also a genuinely nice person, good soul. We trust him with our furry kids.”

West New York dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had a fantastic experience! Monica was reliable, caring, and went above and beyond to make sure our pup was happy and well cared for. She helped us both tonight and a few days ago, and every time the communication was excellent and the walks went smoothly. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in great hands. Highly recommend!

Tiffany was amazing! My dog has pretty bad anxiety and usually doesn’t allow strangers to touch him, but she was so patient and gentle with him. She took the time to play with him and help him feel comfortable around her. Thank you so much, Tiffany! I truly appreciate everything you did!

Absolutely wonderful experience! KaHing was reliable, friendly, and treated my pup with so much care. I really appreciated the updates and photos after each walk—it gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was happy and well looked after. My dog came home tired and content every time. I would definitely recommend KaHing to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

Mariah was so patient and calm with my girl. Ruby is a rescue and needs extra time to warm up to new people. Mariah made me feel so confident that Ruby was in the best hands. Going at Ruby’s pace and comfort level. I’m so thankful to have found someone so sweet and knowledgeable.
