About: I've had dogs as pets and taken care of other dogs since the age of 6, I don't want to get another full time pet but I miss the companionship terribly. I'm no Caeser Milan but I feel dogs respect my authority and temperment despite the fact Im such a softy! I am self employed and work from a home office. I am available 7 days a week and will try and accommodate anyone - even last minute! I'm fortunate that I can dictate my work hours so I can spend as little or as much time as your dog needs. We can energetically play in the garden and go for numerous walks or if they're older and just need a little company they can sit and be stroked all day. My garden is huge with a big expanse of grass and heavily shaded areas. The lawn is surrounded by hedges rather than fences though and deer do manage to find there way in during the night so your dog would never be in the garden unattended unless pre-determined they were the type with good recall. For those inquisitive dogs determined to escape I have a 10m lead! My home is cosy, carpetted with a hardfloor dining room next to the kitchen where your dogs bed would be. Though strict on request I'm equally more than happy for a dog to sleep anywhere if it makes them happier.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 14, when I puppy trained our first family dog, Jimmy. Since then, I've had three dogs under my care, who I helped raise from puppies to adult dogs, two of whom I've cared for in their senior years. I love animals and have an intuitive sense of care for them. I love to help them feel safe, happy and looked after. I'm available for boarding during the week - and will make sure my calendar shows as available on weekends when I know I'll be free. I'll be at home with your dog every day, and my husband also works remotely, so there's always someone to help with toilet breaks and entertainment. As well as walks, we can discuss whether your dog would feel comfortable coming out and about with us when we meet other friends and family with dogs. I have a fully fenced garden so your dog can securely play and have toilet breaks outside. I have a 5-year-old French bulldog named Remi, who will be so happy to have a friend. He's a cuddle monster but we've had marking issues with unneutered/intact males, so we can't accept bookings for these dogs.

About: I’ve always loved dogs. Worked at a doggy day care for a few months during lockdown. Grew up with a cat but always loved visiting and spending time with family friends dogs. I’m currently not working as I’ve had some health issues over the last year which led me to take the last 6 months off work to address and understand how to help my body. About: We’ve both grown up in households full of pets, from cats and guinea pigs to bearded dragons, but at our core, we’re true dog lovers. Throughout our lives, we’ve been surrounded by different breeds, from Scotties and collies to larger breeds. In our family home now, we share our space with our beloved Weimaraner (Blue), Golden Retriever (Gozo), and a German Shepherd (Saxon). About 50% of the time, our Show Cocker Spaniel, Dash, also joins us, completing our pack. As a couple, we’re very comfortable with big dogs and have a knack for getting them to love us. We’re happy to host dogs in our home in Bath, where we have our dog, Dash, with us half of the time. We can chat with you to coordinate when that is. Our garden is dog-friendly, and our home is a welcoming, cosy environment for dogs—so they’ll feel right at home with us!

“We had to drive up to Bath from Cornwall for a hospital appointment, we never used a Dogsitter before and we were a bit anxious to leave our Baby’s with someone we don’t know. Sarah was really kind and empathic and keeps us updated through the time we were away. Sarah was able to win very quick the trust from our Chihuahua which is quite hard after previous bad experience through her first owner. Elio, 10 months old (Frenchbulldog crossed with a mini poodle) has a high level of energy, Sarah was able to find a perfect way to fill his needs and also to keep him hydrated and calm. Both dogs were really happy and tiered afterwards. We would book her definitely again. Thank you Sarah x”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since the age of 12, including family pets, and I have done a lot of dog sitting for many friends/family members over the last ten years. I work from home 5 days a week with minimal meetings, so I have plenty of time to pay attention to a pet, as well as take them for as many walks as needed. It would be great company for me too! I have a fenced garden and plenty of green areas near my home for walks. If the dog is crate trained there is room for a crate and that will be easy to accommodate. There are no other pets in my home so they will have the run of the place! If I am in your house, I will treat it like my own and always leave it as I found it.

About: I grew up in the countryside in France surrounded by animals ( goats, rescue cats, chickens, donkeys, rescue dogs) I am very used to taking care of cats and dogs of various ages and sizes. I work most days from home with one or two days in the office, but my schedule is flexible. My partner works only from home, so their is always someone at home to take care our dog and cat. We have a fenced garden and a dog-friendly park within walking distance. Our dog at night sleeps on the ground floor in the living room, where we have the door open and a baby gate so that we can hear her at night. I work most day from home and my partner work full time from home, I will walk the dog in the morning before work and will walk the dog during my lunch break and in the evening around 18:30 after work We have a fenced garden and a baby gate in the living room to stop the dogs from exploring the rest of the house when they are not supervised I walk dogs in the morning before starting work at home, then during my lunch break and after work. If necessary I can drop in during my lunch break I have a fenced in garden and my living room is fitted with a baby gate to stop them accessing the rest of the house

About: My past 13 years have been devoted to my labrador. I have experience with every stage of a dogs life. I have coped with rebelous puppies, a ball crazy 5 year old and finaly a senior dog in his last years. I travelled alone with my labrador through 18 countries and many challenging environments. As an ex personal trainner I will give your dog an energetic day out and as a former dog Mum I will also know when your dog needs TLC. Caring for a dog has been a part of my life for over a decade before losing my boy a few months ago. There is a big whole in my life waiting to be filled by looking after your fur baby. I am semi retired with the flexibilty to give love and care in the day or night on the weekdays. On the weekends I am often in Bristol with my long term partner but I can occasionaly offer pet service on Saturday and Sunday. I am a homeowner in BA1 and I know how important it is to have someone who respects your property and treats your dog or cat like their own. Before caring for your dog or cat I would like to have a visit or phone call so I can learn more about their routine and preferences. I am also happy to provide personal references from the local community.
