“Ryan and his family took such great care of my Labrador over a holiday weekend. He is super responsive and communicative. Very fortunate to have found him! An experienced and caring pet sitter.”

“Sruthi and Abha were wonderful with our senior dog! They were very attentive to her and were fantastic about giving us updates! We would definitely book with them again!”

“Maranda was really great at taking care of Brazuca, our English Buldog, for 11 days. When I picked Brazuca up at her house he was very happy and healthy. We will absolutely be leaving our dog with her again in the future. I would highly recommend her services. We were very satisfied.”

“Jessica was so so wonderful with our dog! She was extremely responsive and kept us up to date with photos and videos everyday we were away. I knew he was very well taken care of and it allowed us to fully enjoy our time away. Thank you again Jessica!!”

About: I've worked both for neighbors providing pet care for years as well as worked for over a year at a pet boarding/daycare facility for a year. I'm a current college student with a light course load and plenty of time to spare looking after your fur baby! I love walks/hike so if your pet is up for an adventure, so am I! I treat others pets as I would my own. I ensure everything (walks, feeding, etc) are done exactly as you'd like and your pet will have all of my attention.

“This was our first time leaving our dog, Bernie, with Shona (for an entire week) and we can’t say enough good things about the care he received. We consider our dog to be a member of the family and we were initially nervous about leaving Bernie with a stranger. But Shona met with us ahead of time, and we could tell she was warm and caring. After the first day we could tell that Bernie was well taken care of and happy while there. We received multiple pictures daily of Bernie doing things he only does when he is relaxed (cuddling, belly rubs, passing out on the couch). Bernie cuddled witwh her teenage kids. Shona was very communicative and immediately responsive. We immediately booked her for our next vacation. We highly recommend Shona and will use her in the future for all of our boarding needs.”

“Allison and Kevin were amazing watching my dog Sunny for 5 nights! I was pretty nervous leaving her without family for the first time but they reassured me daily with plenty of updates and pictures and I was so happy they were loving on my baby while I was away. Truly great first time Rover experience and I would definitely book with them again!!”

“Ashley was excellent - once again :)!! She kept us updated with pictures and texts the whole time we were gone. Grover had an awesome time . Thanks for taking such good care of our baby!!”
“Ben, Julie, Winter and Rosy were wonderful hosts to Sox! Thank you for taking great care of him - having that peace of mind makes traveling a whole lot easier. I know Sox had a great time!! Thank you again and I have no hesitation in recommending Ben!”

“Janette was wonderful with my 7 months old puppy. He is extremely energetic, inquisitive, and playful . She shared pictures of him every day. He participated in the birthday of one of the furries of the household and had some of the home made treats! She answered my requests right away . I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her and will definitely come back again. Thank you for your love and care to our lovely puppy!”

“Andrea is lovely. We boarded our special needs Newfie with her for a week and just got her back home. She is tired and happy and so are we. Andrea’s dog and ours got along great. They are best friends now. Andrea sent a picture every day.”

“Ariel was fantastic, took great care of my pup, was in touch throughout my vacation (but not too much, a good thing), and was really flexible with my pickup after a very late return flight home. Will absolutely book again.”

“Rhea is truly an exceptional sitter. This was the first time I had to board my 10-year old labradoodle, and she made both my dog and me very comfortable and happy while I was away. Rhea clearly has a talent when it comes to caring for dogs and communicating with the owner. She is loving, responsible, reliable and a great communicator. I hope that she will be able to take care of my dog again the next time I need her help. I can't imagine a better place for my dog.”

“Lisa was a wonderful host to our 1 year old puppy. I loved the frequent, daily updates and pictures. It was clear our puppy had an amazing time and was worn out (in a great way) when we got her back. She provided lots of socializing opportunities and belly rubs and it is clear she loves what she does!”

“We recently brought our dog Ollie to Ena and Dan to stay overnight 2 days. We were super worried as Ollie is the most shy dog we have ever met. He is very attached to us and never has taken to anyone else despite our many attempts to get him to do so. We were very nervous when we dropped him off, but Ena was great at sending us updates and photos so that we could feel better, especially when we saw how well he was bonding with Ena, Dan and their dog! By day 2 he was cuddling with them, sleeping in bed with them and running around the dog park with them and having a blast. We felt totally at ease. We plan to continue using Ena and Dan for all future trips as they truly treated Ollie like their own dog and made us feel comfortable with tons of thoughtful updates. Couldnt recommend her enough!”

“Tielian did a great job taking care of our dog, as always. We’ve used her to watch our pup many times and she’s always dependable and kind. We will definitely use her again!”

“Debra and Michael were amazing. They understood our situation and gave us the time flexibility for Louie’s pickup and drop off. He was a little fussy this time with them but I understood he was well taken care of. They made sure he got comfortable. We kept receiving messages on how he’s doing throughout the day as well. Definitely recommend them”

This is the third time our baby girl has stayed with Hollie. As always, Hollie takes great care of her! She’s so caring and loving, and we have so much trust in her! Our girl never gets excited to go anywhere and she can barely wait to get in the door at Hollie’s home!

Maranada took wonderful care of my dog, Simba! From the start, she was reliable, kind, and clearly loves animals. Simba was happy, comfortable, and well cared for while I was away, and I really appreciated the updates and peace of mind she provided. I would definitely trust Maranada to watch Simba again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog sitter.

Andrea is amazing and we absolutely love her. We've been coming to Andrea ever since our dog is a puppy. Our dog has special needs, and she took wonderful care of him while we were away. We felt confident that he was in great hands and came back clearly well looked after and comfortable. We appreciated her care and reliability, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing she was dog sitting for us. 10/10 recommend

We had a wonderful experience! We received lots of photos and updates throughout the stay, and it was clear Fred and Leche were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. One of them seemed so settled in that they didn’t even want to leave! We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, attentive pet sitters.

Ariel is awesome, and our dog is so happy staying with her! We have a Boston Terrier who needs to be around people, he does not do well in a kennel for overnights. Ariel’s home is safe and comfortable for him. He had the best time playing with her dogs and her kids. It’s clear he is very loved and in her care.

Lisa was incredible with our aging but active 10yo Golden Retriever Zelda. She communicated well right from the start, was open about her style of doggie care and very sweet with Zelda. Clearly a big dog lover! She has a great yard, plenty of toys and sent daily videos/pictures of our dog happily playing. In fact, we've already booked her boarding services again to watch our dog for our next upcoming trip. Very trustworthy and were glad we found her.

Denyse was amazing with my 2 pups. She really took the time to get to know their temperaments and preferences and adjusted for them. My rescue usually comes home she'll shocked when I've boarded them but she looks relaxed and ready to settle back in after being with Denyse for 3 nights!
Chia had a great time with Alessandra! Lots of playmates, a pool to cool off and lots of love from Alessandra and her family. We got daily updates and pictures about how she was doing, which we appreciated. Alessandra replied quickly to all of our questions and she genuinely cared for Chia. When we picked her up she was a happy camper. We will for sure will leave Chia again with Alessandra and recommend her warmly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
