“Stacey has gone above and beyond for my pup, Chula. I had to last minute book her again because my flight was canceled and she was able to accommodate Chula with opened arms. Stacey walked her and Mali daily. I just feel very secure having Chula with her. Stacey sent daily pictures and daily activity updates. I always look forward for her daily updates. 10/10 recommend and I will for sure use her service again. Anyone who is looking for a caring sitter, do not hesitate to book with her!”

“We have used Tom several times and will be using him again in the near future. Sadie seems to enjoy her stay with Tom and his family and they seem to enjoy hosting her. On a few occasions our plans changed, and Tom was flexible in accommodating those changes. We heartily recommend him for the care of your four-legged family member.”

“I don't know why it took me so long to post this review. Tyler was absolutely amazing with my dog, Austin! I had originally booked Austin with Tyler for one week but due to housing issues I had to extend his stay. I actually had to extend Austin's stay a few times and Tyler was always happy and willing to house Austin for as long as we needed. Tyler let me come visit Austin periodically since I missed him so much, and every time I visited Austin looked great and seemed truly happy there. I will 10/10 rebook with Tyler! I am forever grateful for Tyler's help throughout that difficult time and highly recommend using him for whatever length of stay your pup or kitty needs.”

“Dana was fantastic with our golden retriever! So much so that our dog didn’t want to leave! Dana provided frequent updates and pictures to make us feel assured that our doggy was OK!”
“Kathleen watched my dog again for a 3-night stay, and just like last time, she was incredibly patient and attentive. My dog was very nervous and had a few accidents, along with some vomiting, but she handled everything with so much care and compassion. She stayed in constant communication with me—sending updates, letting me know what was happening, and explaining step-by-step what she was doing to help him feel comfortable and calm. Knowing she was on top of everything allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worrying. Kathleen truly goes above and beyond, especially with dogs who are anxious or sensitive. I’m so grateful for how she cared for him and kept me reassured throughout the stay. I absolutely recommend her, and I appreciate her more than she knows!”

“Jean did an absolutely wonderful job in caring for our 13 year old Puggle. She sent updates and pictures during his overnight stay. Her home is VERY clean and completely set up for dog boarding. She’s not only knowledgeable about dog care but truly showed an interest in making sure our dog was comfortable and well taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to request boarding with Jean in the future.”

“Anacelia and her family are so great with our pups and love telling us stories about them regularly. Our mini schnauzers are welcomed like part of their extended family which includes 3 dogs of their own.”

“Olive did an excellent job with our puppy, Sammy(7 months old). It was the first time for him and for us , but she always sent the updates every day, in every picture Sammy was having fun with his new friends, it was good for him to socialize. Thank you Olive.”

“It's a little worrying when you have to leave your best doggie friend with someone you've never met. In this case, it was a great choice. Our little Molly had a great time with Mikaila, who took excellent care of her. She sent regular photos and updates too - highly recommended if you need someone to help you in Philly!”

“Upon arrival our dog is always happy to see David. We have boarded with him a couple times a year for several years. David loves the animals and we are confident that our dog is age and we'll cared for every time.”

“Jeffrey was extremely responsive to my questions and wrote every day with updates and photos. He was patient with Papaya's anxiety, and madensure she ate, even if it meant offering her handfuls of food at a time. It's the first time we left our sweet goofy girl with someone, but it felt good to know she was in such good hands. Thank you, Jeffrey!”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with pets all my life. Now that I’m an adult I have 5 cats and a dog. I’ve fostered (and foster failed) both cats and dogs over the years. I watch my friend’s pets here and at their homes as well. At my house I have a spare room that can be your animal’s home away from home if they need their own secluded space. I also have a fenced in yard with friendly neighbors who are also animal lovers. Come in the summer and I’ll send you home with some fresh veggies from my garden too! I get up early for work and make sure to leave plenty of time to feed, clean litter boxes and make sure all my four legged babies are ready for the day. Once home in the afternoon and after I lay down on the couch they all come to find me for love and to lay on me for all the pets. At night all are welcome to sleep with me, on the couch or wherever they are the most comfortable. I home almost all day over the weekends except for the morning time on Sundays. I have a fenced in yard so any dogs are able to go outside whenever they need to to play, pee or lay in the sun. I watch my neighbor’s dogs as needed and will go over every 4 or so hours to let them out over the weekends. During the week I let them out before I go to work and then as soon as I come home. I then let them out again before bed around 8pm. I also am able to let them out as needed when they are in a pinch and can’t get home in time. My cats and yours if they come for a stay will have water and toys available to them at all times. They will be fed twice a day with a snack of crunchies before bed. If you needed me to come to your house to take care of your cats and/or dogs, I would be able to come early in the morning, after work and before bed during the week and every 4-6 hours during the weekend. While at your house I can take animals for a walk, play, give pets and love, brush or whatever else is needed. Of course I’d feed them and clean kitty litter boxes or whatever else your babies need. I am good with giving medicine to cats and dogs. I give daily medication to my dog and have had to give cats medicine in the past.

“Andrew was wonderful from start to finish. He was easy to communicate with, very responsive, and flexible- we had to adjust our days after booking due to an unexpected funeral and he made the changes quickly. Our dog got really great care with frequent updates and pics and it was very clear Andrew really enjoys taking care of animals! Would highly recommend. Thank you!!”

“Ena and Daniel (and Lucy) were fantastic!! I had a last minute trip out of town and not only were they accommodating and friendly but they made me at ease. My flight back ended up being delayed and this was also super seamless to extend considering the unforeseen circumstances. Bella will be back 😊”

“Brandi was amazing! Genuinely a kind person and very personable. Treated my 75lb pit bull Leonidas like her own. Pictures of walks and him even in their vehicle. Highly recommend!!! God bless you:)”

Thank you once again for taking such great care of Melon! We received lots of videos and pictures throughout his stay, and it was clear that he felt very comfortable, happy, and well cared for. The regular updates gave us so much peace of mind and made our trip completely worry-free. We truly appreciate the wonderful care and would definitely book again!

Shona did an absolutely amazing job caring for our Koa Mae! She’s a very anxious pup, and this was our first time leaving her at someone else’s home, so we were understandably a little nervous. From the moment we met Shona, she made us feel completely at ease. She took the time to answer all of our questions during the meet and greet, reassured us every step of the way, and genuinely cared about making sure both we and Koa Mae were comfortable. Throughout Koa Mae’s stay, Shona sent regular updates and adorable photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was obvious that Koa Mae was receiving lots of love, attention, and excellent care. We are so grateful to have found someone we can truly trust with our girl. We would recommend Shona to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter and will definitely be booking with her again!

Our dog was obviously very well cared for by Adrienne. Between the ample attention, walks at the nearby park, beautiful, fully-fenced yard, and loving care, we wondered if Buddy would want to come home. We are thankful we found Adrienne. We will definitely be back!

Danielle and her family treated Millie just like she was one of their own. Danielle sent lots of pictures, videos and updates throughout Millie's stay. I felt very at peace knowing that she was well cared for and loved while she was at their home. Millie especially enjoyed running around their fenced yard with their sweet dog Sandy. I can't recommend Danielle and her family enough and we will definitely have Millie stay with them in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
