About: A lifelong dog lover with over nine years of personal experience raising my own pup and five years of dedicated dog‑sitting for friends and families. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs, always making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m currently available throughout the entire week, including weekends, and can accommodate a wide range of schedules. Early‑morning drop‑offs work perfectly for me, and I’m happy to provide flexible timing to make your routine as smooth and stress‑free as possible. I have a huge fenced in yard and have easy access to private trails by the home and the have no other pets at home.

I feel so lucky to have found Rachael to check in on my two cats every day while I was away for 10 days. She’s super communicative and reliable and I would recommend to her anyone and be so happy to work with her again.

About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. My pets at home are pretty spoiled. They are not crated and we play inside and outside. Whatever the owners require is what I will do. Unfortunately, my most recent dog died of cancer. I miss her; but look forward to taking good care of other people’s pets.

Si yeon was great. I forgot to update Rover with my new address. She went to my old address. Totally my fault. I gave her the new address and told her to just go the next day but she insisted that she felt bad for my kitties and went straight over to the correct address to feed them. I would highly recommended Si yeon. She cares about animals and did a wonderful job.

We had reached out to Kirstin last minute and she could not have been nicer or more accommodating plus she was great with our silly boy, Mosley. She sent us updates and pictures each time she dropped in for a visit. Her communication regarding Mo was just what we needed to feel comfortable, that he was being well taken care of while we were away. Additionally, Kirstin was quick to respond to all of our messages (before, during and after our trip). We highly recommend Kirstins’ pet sitting services and look forward to booking with her again in the near future! Thanks Kirstin!🐾

About: I’ve been taking care of over 5+ dogs, 5+ cats, fish, hamsters, etc for basically my entire life so far. I love all types of animals. I have experience with dogs from a few months old to 15-17, I also have experiences with cats from a few weeks old to 15-17. I’d love to help any person/family who needs a hand sometimes! (i also have experience with geckos/lizards if that helps!) I’m currently working part time and this fall I will be taking classes part time online, so I have plenty of time for taking care of your pets. I would prefer going to others homes due to the fact I already have 3 cats, 2 dogs, gecko, fish, etc at my own home. I plan to take care of the owners pet and house with upmost respect.

About: I have had dogs all my life, I have a mini golden doodle, cane corso rotty mix, and pitbull mix that I have walked and fed them many times, and have always loved playing with them I just moved to the Norristown and North Wales Area. I am looking to get established with families here who may need someone extra thorough and trustworthy to watch the fur babies now and in the future. I am looking to make a bit extra cash as well as get involved and meet new people and animals. When going into someone else’s home, and taking care of their animals, I think about how I would like someone to treat my animals. I make sure when I am taking care of someone else’s animals, they are let out to use the bathroom, played with, given food, water, and extra love.

About: Hello, I’d love to help you with your pet needs and give your pets lots of love, potty breaks, exercise and make sure they are cared for, happy and safe when you are not home. I love animals! I’ve had dogs my whole life. I grew up with Chihuahua’s. Our family had several over the years. Then I had a Cockapoo who lived to 16 yrs old, he was sick, but we cared for him and he still lived a long wonderful life! I currently have a 6 year-old chocolate lab named Maggie. She’s super energetic and brings a special love to our home. We also have a new member to our family, a cat named Suma…she’s beautiful and very playful! I'd describe my personality as kind, caring, organized, and helpful. I’m currently available for early morning, drop-in visits, also quick 30 minute lunch break visits and/or anytime after 5pm to care for your pets! I provide reliable, attentive care by following each pet’s routine and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for in their own home.

About: Hi, my name is Lauren, and I have been caring for animals for most of my life. Growing up, I was surrounded by many different types of animals, but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. As a devoted pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. I have experience working with pets that require special care, including diabetic animals and those who need medications administered. I am also comfortable with bathing and providing basic grooming support. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I believe that happy pets are active and engaged, so I focus on providing plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and enrichment through walks, playtime, and activities that meet their individual needs. Whether your pet loves adventure or prefers a slower pace, I tailor my care to their personality and routine. I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and attention to detail. I look forward to meeting you and providing the best possible care for your beloved pets! 🐾💜 I currently work full-time in a school and am available for pet care services during evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime, or companionship, I am happy to help. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, attention, and exercise, so I strive to make every visit a positive experience. You can count on me to provide reliable, compassionate care and treat your pets like family while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companions! 🐾💜 At this time, I am unable to offer pet care services in my home due to my reactive dog. However, I am more than happy to come to your home and provide the care your pet needs in the comfort of their familiar environment. Whether your furry family member needs walks, drop-in visits, feeding, medication administration, playtime, or companionship, I am committed to providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away, treating them with the same love and attention I give my own pets. 🐾💜

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Skippack stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Skippack choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Skippack with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Skippack. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
