“The dogs love Alexandra, they are always happy and healthy when we get home. Also somehow our house smelled amazing when we got home, that never happens we have huge boy dogs. No idea how she did that!!!”

About: I used to have a Shih-tzu named Eris who was a very sweet girl with lots of energy. I currently look after a French Bulldog from time to time who I absolutely love. I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home, and I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day ar my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. Larger dogs are welcome to lie in a dog bed by my desk, or downstairs on the couch with me.

About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. My pets at home are pretty spoiled. They are not crated and we play inside and outside. Whatever the owners require is what I will do. Unfortunately, my most recent dog died of cancer. I miss her; but look forward to taking good care of other people’s pets.

I have a specific room for my foster dogs thats if in any case they just dont like my dog they dont have to be with him and i crate and rotate so everyone in my home gets lots of love

“Amazing care. When we arrived home, our boys could not stop talking about how much fun they had with Lacey. She even sent us a picture of Lewis playing inside his favorite toy. Next time we go away, we had to promise Henry and Lewis we would call Lacey to take care of them. Thank you Lacey🐱”

“Heather did a great job caring for my cat. I would most definitely recommend her services for your pet. She was prompt and courteous. My cat is very shy and Heather had no problem getting the cat to warm up to her. Just an overall positive experience.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in middle school! Friends and families have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their dogs and sometimes look after dogs and kids at the same time! I don't mind walking dogs and playing with them as it also helps me relieve stress during my everyday life :) I am a post-grad working full time, but I do make time to fit pet care into my weekly routine. I look at taking care of dogs, playing with them, or taking care of their needs as a way to relieve stress for myself and to help ease off the stress that a client may have so that their animal gets taken care of and are happy! I do live in a single home with lots of backyard space with lots of areas and parks to walk dogs around! I am able to also accommodate to any environment of a client's home if they have an in-fenced yard, toys, etc.

“Heather was great with Stache! She gave me a specific schedule of what times she could come visit and she definitely stuck to it! I got a detailed update every visit with some great pictures as well. Was a little nervous using this service for the first time but my mind was definitely put at ease after this.”
“McKayla was awesome! Our cats love her and she took such good care of them! We will definitely be asking her to help again in the future! She sent tons of pictures and responded quickly too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Tracy took great care of my two cats while I was away for ten days. That gave me peace of mind knowing they were safe and had such companionship. She sent lots of pictures of my babies loving on her and even cut their nails! Thank you, Tracy!”

About: I have experience with many different types of dogs. I have been pet and home sitting for over 10 years, and I provide services to family members, friends, past-teachers, and mutual friends. I currently have a Dalmatian, and have to care for her regularly. I like to take her on walks around my neighborhood and through local parks, so I hope to be able to do so with your dogs, too! I love to play and walk with pets, especially when the weather is nice! I am also capable of light household chores, such as laundry and cleaning up! I look forward to hearing from you! :) I am currently working as an Event Specialist, so I am available mostly in the evenings during the week. Fridays and Saturdays are pretty open, so I could be available morning through the evening. I always give your pets the care and love they need while you are away, treating them how I would with my own dogs. I love to take my dogs on walks and play catch with them outside.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lansdale
We had reached out to Kirstin last minute and she could not have been nicer or more accommodating plus she was great with our silly boy, Mosley. She sent us updates and pictures each time she dropped in for a visit. Her communication regarding Mo was just what we needed to feel comfortable, that he was being well taken care of while we were away. Additionally, Kirstin was quick to respond to all of our messages (before, during and after our trip). We highly recommend Kirstins’ pet sitting services and look forward to booking with her again in the near future! Thanks Kirstin!🐾

Amy has been terrific with our dogs. We have a reactive dog who we’ve been working with for years to get him more comfortable with strangers, and she was more than willing to take him on and she does great with him! Our most recent addition has also turned out to have issues with coming inside and going in to her crate for sitters, and Amy has been so patient in working with her!

Emily is a true professional and provided an excellent customer experience for our pups and for us - we had no worries while we were away and the pups immediately connected with Emily and enjoyed her company. We highly recommend Emily for pet care services and appreciate her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
