Pet care experience
Pets ARE Family ***Insured***
I've grown up with dogs, cats and birds all of my life. I've always treated them as part of my family, even if they weren't mine. I was a volunteer at Tri State Bird Rescue in Delaware, Greyhound Rescue in New Jersey and Greater Philadelphia Search and Rescue. I am happy to give oral medications and eye medications. If you have a pet that needs more experienced medical needs, I am willing to learn. I have experience with bottle-fed kittens, guinea pigs, chickens and senior animals. I have a lot of experience with timid/reactive dogs. After almost 5 years of petsitting, I have finally done the responsible thing and got insured. Just something to make everyone feel a little more comfortable.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not let the dogs outside by themselves. I like to know where they are to ensure they don't jump over the fence/dig under the fence/get stolen. You let me know what your pets schedule is...if they get up at 5am for breakfast, let me know. If they play ball for an hour at 6pm, let me know. Keeping your pets on a schedule lessens anxiety. I am fully insured.
Ratings and reviews
Amy puts up with a lot from my pain in the butt dogs! We do appreciate that she’s willing to deal with them and never seems phased!

As always happy to have Amy watching our pets. She is so good with them and they love her. We do too!

Penny was a little timid at first but after a few days it was love !! Amy was very good with her. I would definitely recommend her and would use her again when I need a sitter. She is great!! The best pet sitter I have ever had!!

We were away for a week, so Amy got to know our weirdo cats very well. She spent a lot of time with them, played with them and made sure they got the right food, since they like to eat from each other's bowls. They warmed right up to her and she took very good care of them! She provided plenty of pictures and kept us apprised of one of our cats' minor medical issue. Thank you so much!

We could not be happier with the care our dog, Jada, received from Amy. She communicated and sent pictures and videos of our happy pup. We appreciate that she was especially attentive during a thunderstorm when she kept her calm. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.
Me and my pup are Always happy! Thank you!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I currently do petsitting full-time. If I am housesitting your dog, I will make every attempt to ensure your dog is let out every 4 hours. I am unable to do "constant care" at this time.
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsDogs over 1 year oldAmy can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your pet has any special needs, injuries or fears. For example: My dog does not like other dogs, so I know to keep his attention on me when passing other dogs. Also, he has a dry eye condition, that requires daily eye medication. He is older and does not do well in the heat. He prefers to stay inside the air conditioning and wrestle on the floor or snuggle. He also has a mobility issues and can't get up many steps.
