Pet care isn’t just a side job for me—it’s what I do full time. I grew up caring for my family’s and neighbors’ pets and have raised my own dogs from puppyhood into their senior years. This has given me firsthand experience with the changing needs of pets at every stage of life. I have cared for dogs and cats with different personalities and needs, including puppies, senior pets, and pets with anxiety. I’m comfortable administering oral and injected medications, and one of my own dogs receives several injections each week. I provide patient, dependable, and personalized care while helping pets remain comfortable in the familiar surroundings of their own home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priorities. I carefully follow feeding, medication, walking, and household instructions and keep doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses secure. Dogs are never left outdoors unattended—even in a fenced yard, I will always remain outside with them. I understand that welcoming a sitter into your home requires trust. I will respect your home, communicate clearly, and provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are safe and well cared for. For everyone’s comfort and privacy, I ask that all active indoor cameras, audio-recording devices, and other monitoring devices be disclosed before care begins.

Once again, Amy did a terrific job with Sylvester! She was on time every day, sent great reports and so many pictures! It's great to see Sylvester happy and playing with his toys when I'm not there. I can tell he likes Amy because she has sent pictures of him waiting at the top of the steps - he only does that when he's excited to see someone! Will definitely be having Amy care for Sylvester whenever I travel. It's great to come home to a happy, healthy pet.

Amy was great! She provided daily updates and photos of Rupert and Esme. Rupert is our special little guy who requires meds for anxiety. Amy had no problems making sure he got them as needed. She also brought in our mail and packages while we were away, which we appreciated. We’re very happy with our experience with Amy. We think Rupert and Esme would love to see her again.
Amy was wonderful with Sylvester! He is usually slow to warm up to new people, but he was great with her the first time she came for our Meet & Greet. She followed all feeding directions perfectly and sent detailed report cards with great pictures and even a video. It was clear she spent time with him, playing with his toys and making sure he was all set between visits. I have a lot of business travel coming up this fall, and I'm so glad I found Amy as I am totally confident in the care she will provide for Sylvester. Rebooking her now for my next trip.
Amy is the best! Great communication and she helped us with a few house issues while we were away too. We felt great knowing our fur baby was in good hands. We’ll definitely book Amy again!!!!
Amy took awesome care of our dog while we were on vacation. She made sure he got his medicine and went for daily walks. She kept me up to date with pictures. I would definitely recommend her for taking care of your pet!

Schedule
Pet sitting is my full-time job, which gives me the flexibility to plan my schedule around the pets in my care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, daytime house sitting, and overnight stays. Because I don’t work a separate full-time job, I can provide frequent potty breaks, spend meaningful time with your pets, and follow their regular routine as closely as possible. I do not provide continuous 24-hour care, but I carefully plan my schedule so pets receive dependable attention throughout the day based on their individual needs. Overnight stays from approximately 10 PM to 8 AM are available as a $40-per-night add-on to house sitting. Please let me know if overnight care is needed when submitting your request.

- Before caring for your pets, I would like to learn about their normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, potty needs, exercise level, and how long they can comfortably be left alone. Please also share any medical conditions, allergies, anxiety, triggers, behavioral concerns, history of biting or aggression, resource guarding, leash reactivity, escape tendencies, or areas where they should not be touched. I’d also like to know where your pets usually sleep, how they behave around unfamiliar people or animals, and what helps them feel secure while you’re away. The more I know beforehand, the more comfortable and enjoyable the experience will be for your pets. Before the first booking, I would like to schedule a meet and greet so I can meet you and your pets, review their care instructions, answer any questions, and ensure we’re a good fit.
