About: My husband and absolutely love dogs. We have a loving spacious home for him to run around in. I am always watching my parents or siblings dog and it’s always a blast to do so! My husband and I both work from home, so we’re able to spend a lot of time with our dog throughout the day. We take him on walks totaling at least 2 miles every day and love getting outside with him whenever we can. We also make sure he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise, and we enjoy taking him along with us on walks, errands, and adventures whenever possible. We have a large dog who has his own bedroom with a full-size bed, which he absolutely loves! We also have two dog beds downstairs so he has plenty of comfortable places to relax throughout the house. Our back porch has a long leash where he can safely spend some time outside and enjoy the fresh air. He is no in the crate, but we do have a large crate in the basement available if needed.

About: I have had seven dogs throughout my life and currently have a friendly 7-year-old Beagle. I have also pet-sat dogs for family and friends over the years. Caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities has given me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I make sure to follow each owner’s instructions carefully. I am patient, responsible, and genuinely love spending time with animals! I currently don’t work and I am home all day so I can be with your dog most of the day and let them out frequently. I have a big fenced yard and like to walk dogs. I care for pets with the same patience, attention, and responsibility that I would want for my own. I make sure they have fresh food and water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also follow each pet’s individual routine and any specific instructions from their owner, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and other needs. In a client’s home, I am respectful of their space and make sure their pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being and communicate with the owner regularly so they know how their pet is doing. My goal is for every pet to feel happy, comfortable, and loved while in my care.

If you have a city dog and would love a place for them to frolic in an oversized fenced yard, interact with farm animals (safely through a fence), and socialize with other dogs, this is THE spot! I was anxious about boarding our dog for the first time through Rover but Amanda's confidence, professionalism, and experience made this easy for me. She was extremely communicative and pretty much has every detail taken care of so all I needed to bring was food. During boarding, my dog had loads of fun playing with other dogs, making new friends, and (sadly for me) ignored the farm animals entirely. “Five stars is not enough for Benjamin! He, and his beautiful family (of humans and dogs) went over and above to take care of our golden retriever, Soda. When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. All of this incredible kindness and professionalism took place under extraordinary circumstances since their family was going through major things at the time. We are so grateful to have found him and will definitely be grateful to be able to work with them again.
