About: I’ve grown up taking care of two Labradors and French Bulldog! I have experience with providing walks, meals, and medications to puppies and senior dogs Currently a half-day Villanova senior, so I am around most afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. After 2pm is ideal, with the exception of Wednesday nights I have a quiet, pet-safe apartment (no access to candles, flowers, sharp objects). I would be happy to set up a crate, food and water bowls, or pet beds.
“Jordynn and her Family were Amazing – I really felt like she cared about my dogs and how they were dealing with being in a strange house with strange people. She sent a lot of pictures and messages so we felt very connected. She has an absolutely wonderful backyard that is very large and fully fenced in. She was very responsive to their needs and tolerant of their idiosyncrasies. If my kids were of age I would have her babysit my two legged kids as well as the four legged ones. I love that she is so close and I will be posting her Rover information on our community email list since she is so close to our location. Will 100% look to book with her again next time I need to go out of town. Or need to have someone let my dogs out.”

“Deb and Mike were fantastic! They showed so much attention and care when watching Wilson, making sure to write down all of his routines and eccentricities before we dropped him off. We received regular updates with pictures while we were away, and even got a full journal of his daily activities when we picked him up - what a nice touch! It was obvious from the beginning they really cared about Wilson and made him as comfortable as possible in his temporary home. We will certainly use them again in the future.”
“Kristin was amazing! Very friendly and flexible with reservations. She sent updates everyday, and some pictures to go with it. She played with my puppy (who constantly wants to play), and snuggled with my 14 year old dog who is completely blind and going deaf. We will definitely make reservations with Kristin again!”

“Wenji and family are great. I got some pictures and Jo got lots of walks. When Jo came home, she was very calm and balanced and happy. Very happy about this experience. Will have Jo stay again with Wenji.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally. I’ve spent time with all kinds of breeds and personalities, and I know how to read each dog’s needs, whether that means sticking to a routine, giving space to a nervous pup, or just knowing when they want to play versus rest. I treat every dog like my own. I am in the office four days a week. My wife works from home full time and takes care of our two dogs at home. We are available to take care of your dogs any day of the week whether it’s a day visit or overnight boarding. We have two dogs that are great with other dogs. We have an unfenced yard but can easily walk your dog on a leash around the yard or the nearby park. If your dog does not get along with other dogs, we are fully flexible with creating separation in the house to make sure all dogs are comfortable. We have experience with all types of dogs with different personalities and will provide a great environment for you dog(s).
About: I have had several dogs and cats in my adult life. I currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats and one ferret. I am working with a dog trainer to assist my dogs getting along with my new rescue. I currently have a full time job from 8-4 in West Chester. I can come on the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Fridays, and weekends any time. I will stick to your schedule best I can. I will come and take the dogs for a walk, play and snuggle time. I will scoop poop in the yard. I will change the litter box and not force the cats to snuggle. If they want it, they can.
“Our dog has stayed with Thalita multiple times and each time she has been very well taken care of! Sadie loves going to Thalita’s house (which makes us very happy to know our dog is happy while we’re away). We are so thankful to have found Thalita and so grateful for the love and care she provides to our pup”

“Beaune had a fabulous time with Benjamin and his family. They went the extra mile to make him feel welcomed and comfortable. They were attentive and tuned into his preferences, needs, and personality! Benjamin’s home is the perfect mix of play and peace, with a great backyard, friendly pup friends, and comfy places to rest. We’ll absolutely return (and already booked our next stay)! There’s really no value you can place on a safe, reliable, and caring sitter for your furbaby and Benjamin is just that!”

“Dana was someone I know I can trust with my best friend, May. It was clear that she cared about May's well-being and kept us updated with pictures and text about May and took into consideration we were away from her and enjoyed knowing she was having fun, eating well and getting outside for a run or a walk. I liked the idea that I could text Dana and get feedback anytime! I would not hesitate to take May over for our 'week' down the shore or anywhere for that matter. Thank You Dana for being such a good friend to the best dog I ever loved.”

“Clarissa was great. Very quickly responded to boarding request and arranged meet and greet day and time. Dogs did well during the stay and had good time running around and playing in a large fenced in yard. It was nice to receive video update too.”

“Mary (and family) always take great care of Ginger. I am provided daily updates and can see how happy Ginger is. The best sign of great care is how she easily adjusts to being home as our happy pup. Thank you for all you do!!!”

“It was our first time boarding our Pet Benji with Manu and Dhruv. They welcomed him with love and shared pictures throughout the day. We definitely will recommend Manu and Dhruv!”

“Brandi was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, she made us feel completely comfortable leaving Kuma in her care. We loved all the pictures and detailed updates she sent — it meant so much to see how happy and well cared for our pup was while we were away. It was clear she truly cares and goes above and beyond. We will definitely be using her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive dog sitter!”

“Maranda did a great job with Cooper. He had a blast staying with her, running and playing with the other dogs she was boarding. The communication was excellent, with updates, pictures, and prompt responses whenever I reached out. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Michael was great. Jasper is anxious but did well at his place and when Michael wasn't around, Joe was so my dog was not alone for too many hours of the day. Would recommend and looking forward to having him look after Jasper again.”

I am glad I found Kayleigh to take care of Marley for me while I was away. She and her husband were very kind and attentive to him. Marley is a special needs elderly cat and needs medication twice daily. Kayleigh was knowledgeable and prepared to care for him which made me more comfortable to leave him for a few days. I recommend her services and I will be requesting her next time I need help with Marley.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
